I am exactly the same Bluestar...I really need some new clothes and I think I am just going to get some as I am fed up just holding on "just in case"!

bluestar · 13/04/2004 08:43

Welcome Tex111. So are there no more potential December babies or have some of you gone a bit quiet over Easter?
ChaCha, enjoy your rest. I know I feel a bit more relaxed about not ttc this month and looking forward to my holiday and buying new clothes instead! Fed up of thinking that perhaps I shouldn't buy 'normal' clothes in case I din't fit in them for too long!

Oooh, new thread. Good luck to everyone here. Tex111 hello and welcome - I'm one of the old-timers. BeckiF I'm very impressed you've lost 1/2 stone - well done. Good luck for getting your appointment.

Hi BeckiF, good luck today!!

BeckiF · 11/04/2004 21:35

I've lost 1/2 stone since deciding to go for a IVF treatment!! We have to ring the unit on Tuesday to book in, so wish we luck and love if you will

Moomin · 11/04/2004 20:10

Must read my notes before posting - I sound like Uriah Heep in my last one.

Moomin · 11/04/2004 20:09

Furturity - if this is any help, you should only start counting the 1st day of AF when the bright red blood comes, if this helps. I didn't realise this for ages and was wondering why my dates didn't really tally!

smellymelly · 11/04/2004 18:58

Futurity - My last AF started slowly like yours too, normally it comes with a vengeance!! Within 2 days it was here properly.

Hi Tex111 - this is the place to be for great support and advice, hope you are not here for too long though...IYKWIM!!!

Tex111 · 11/04/2004 15:58

Hello, mind if I join you? We've decided to start trying for a second baby. DS is 20 months old. I'm new to MN so not sure where I should be for the TTC stuff!

futurity · 11/04/2004 14:25

Quick question..(sorry..bit graphic!) what does brown blood mean at beginning of AF? Was like this this morning but now turning more red.

ChaCha · 11/04/2004 10:20

Hey...Good Luck and lots of Baby Dust to everyone on this thread!

Guess what? Am CD3 today! (After a 40 day wait!) So going to TTC month of May or June. Having a rest.

Hugs to allm, and best of luck Becki F x

Hi ermentrude ...think the list is on the previous thread or the one I started about strange cycles recently.

My AF turned up at 3am this morning So a second month of short luteal phase of 9 days..how on earth am I meant go get pregnant!!? Everything else about my cycle is "normal"..average length..plenty of CM..just OV too late! So no Xmas baby for me..in fact no baby until next year Positive thoughts though are needed and I am off to start the supplements now which may sort my cycle out.

ermentrude · 10/04/2004 22:37

Oh a nice new thread! Hope everyone is ok.

Still not found thermometer, but pretty sure I have ovulated in the last day or so due to the other signs! Now on CD22 so this is slightly early for me. Actually, losing the thermometer has taken a bit of pressure off to actually enjoy the 'trying' bit of TTC.

Myself and DH are also about to try the supplements mentioned on another thread recently. Will buy them in and begin them next cycle. Can anyone recommend the supplements we ought to take, bearing in mind my luteal phase is around 10 days I think, sometimes less?

Thanks again folks - and good luck on this new thread!

jellycat · 09/04/2004 22:59

Hello, just checking in to see how you are all doing....best of luck for your new thread!

bluestar · 09/04/2004 22:34

futurity, hope you & your family get well soon. We have all been sick at the same time and it was no fun at all.
I have decided to not try this month (no temping, no OPK and probably no bding either) and I feel good that I have made this decision as the pressure feels off a little. I am going on holiday at the end of the month and don't want to spend the whole time thinking "am I, aren't I" as I would be 'due' at the end of the holiday. Also, the 'due' date would be very very close to ds birthday and I feel it is HIS birthday and I would like another child to have their own birthday if this makes sense. I would only be trying to get pregnant for me when in my head I'm saying waiting another month is not going to make any difference in this already long journey. It would be selfish (I think) to make ds share his birthday just because I want another baby. All systems go on our return though!! I will however stay with this thread and wish everyone loads of luck and I hope we get some positives soon x x

Good luck to all who post here!

AF due in next few days but the interest in that has been shoved to one side due to tummy bug in this house. I had it all morning and then started feeling better late afternoon and the DH came down with it! He is now in bed with bowl suffering. I pray that DS doesn't come down with it...we could do with some good luck in this house!

eyelash · 09/04/2004 09:37

Best of luck to everybody on this thread.

Quackers · 08/04/2004 21:47
