I know its waaay early for a November bus to set off but AF arrived today kicking me off the September bus and with DH away next month the October bus is not an option. Anyone fancy joining me in the long wait? I don't expect much action on this thread for a few weeks but it would be nice to have some company. My stats are below:

iamevan, 35, TTC#2, cycle 6, BFP due 7th November

Thanks for the stats April. Sorry to see so many familiar names, but welcome to all of the newcomers. Fx that November is the lucky one for us.

Temping ladies - does anyone know how we are meant to deal with the clocks changing at the weekend?

Hi Ladies,

Sorry to see so many of you have been kicked off the Pregtober bus Wine and Cake all round!

Chandlers, so sorry to hear your news, I really hope you do continue to pop on and let us know how you are getting on, you are going to be missed on here, it won’t be the same without you. So glad that you are continuing to be positive and have a plan of action Smile

Speaking of positivity, Lucieloos, I finished that book (Trying to get pregnant and conceiving by Marissa Peer for anyone else who is interested), thoroughly enjoyed it so thank you for recommending.

So, my strategy of no temping/OPKs this cycle and just DTD is going well. Am a bit of a control freak so thought it may back fire and stress me out to give up monitoring everything but feeling pretty relaxed about it all. Have been preparing special meals this week (mid cycle) based on holidays DH and I have had together to get us in the DTD mood. Tonight is Italy night, bought some limoncello especially Smile

Will post updated stats below.

Dozygirl · 23/10/2014 11:44

Awwww bluesky I totally forgot about mulled wine!! It's my fave at xmas. I might allow myself one cheeky mug if I'm upduffed at xmas or find a non alcoholic one of they do them because I loooove it so.

I haven't booked a ski trip this year so I'll be totally gutted of I'm not upduffed and I've missed a year of going because once a baby arrives it'll be even harder to go.

Missed DTD last night as DP didnt get home till 10:30 so gonna try today. Opk this morning looks very close to positive but I'm sure my one from last month was quite obviously positive so I think it's still got to come. Maybe taking b6 is making me ovulate late. Will test again later to see if it's gotten stronger. I've had some spots on my chin the last couple of days so that must be a good sign too. I've always got lots of cm so I've not really determined the difference between ewcm and normal yet.

TerrysNo2 · 23/10/2014 11:43

Hello ladies - in case you are interested here is my FF charting homepage, as I paid for the premium I get to have all my charts on there and the overlay so thought I'd share it.

spinningirl10 · 23/10/2014 10:26

Blue I took it on both cycle cd3-7 but I think this time I'll take it 4-8. I really want to just get a better egg but af has just arrived making this cycle very short at only 21days!!! Before soy I was regular 27/28 day cycle. This will be my last month on it if my cycle is short again.

Stats: spinningirl10 ttc#3 cycle 17, bfp due Nov 18th.

Blueskygirl30 · 23/10/2014 10:13

Treacle I'm sorry you've been sad! totally understandable! I had a little cry myself yesterday. However, you do know that you've just invoked the law of sod by thinking about skipping this cycle?! Amazing!! 17th of November we are getting our BFPs!!

Terrys I would do it still too. For the first few months of TTC I didn't do any vigorous activity or drink alcohol but then realised I was missing out on stuff for no reason. And I always think about these people who get pregnant without even knowing, the little spermed egg must be pretty sturdy and I don't think that leaping over obstacles will knock it out of place. I'm tempted to try a course myself, it sounds like fun!

Spinning I hadn't realised you were taking soy....I might actually give it a go myself this cycle then. I'll be cd3 tomorrow and will be back in the uk so might pop by tesco on my way home from work and start tomorrow night or Saturday. Which days are you taking it?

I've just realised that my peak time of my cycle in November falls during a couple of weeks leave for both my husband and I. We're not going away but will be doing stuff on our new house together so hopefully we should be able to fit in lots of DTD this time and no time zone changes/working through the night to mess up my body! Plus, if I don't get pregnant I am really excited about drinking lots of mulled wine in December and going skiing in January (trying to invoke my own law of sod now! Wink )

Dozygirl · 23/10/2014 09:57

I think u should do it Terry's Grin

TerrysNo2 · 23/10/2014 09:24

I am only really asking about the obstacle bits, if it was a run I wouldn't care as I'm still running now but I remember reading on the October bus that exercise around implantation can affect it and although I don't usually change anything when TTC, I'm only worried because this would be right at implantation stage and I don't want to risk anything. Not sure what to do! I am thinking of making DH take my place Grin Wink

spinningirl10 · 23/10/2014 08:58

Oh and also on the one I did you could opt out of any bits of it that you didn't want to do.

spinningirl10 · 23/10/2014 08:57

Terry, I would go for it, as the others have said you can't put your life on hold. I did a similar thing and it was quite good fun until I had to go through the 'sheep dip'. Where you're submerged in a tunnel of freezing water! Getting pulled out by a royal marine was rather nice thoughWink

broodylicious · 23/10/2014 08:55

I also agree, just go for it! You can't put life on hold or things will be doubly miserable. As has already been said, if you're used to running and exercising, you don't need to stop. Good luck with it - sounds great fun!

Hey spinning, shitter to see you here Hmm but come sit near me on this bus. I got homemade cupcakes decorated like witches, their broomsticks are made of yummy Flake chocolate.

TheProofIsInThePudding · 23/10/2014 08:43

I agree! Just go for it! I assume that you're generally fit and used to running? If it's a strong, healthy little blastocyst it will be fine Smile

Pikz · 23/10/2014 08:26

Terrys I have been of the view you can't put your life on hold to wait and see what happens. If it is going to implant it will, doesn't matter if your running at the time.

However it's because it took me over a year to conceive Ds and I'm on month 11 with this one. Life should go on

TerrysNo2 · 23/10/2014 08:17

scratch that, I'll be 7-10dpo so basically implantation (if all goes well Grin)

TerrysNo2 · 23/10/2014 07:55

Can someone help? I am supposed to be doing a mucky mudder event in November when I'll be about 5-7dpo. Its a 5 mile run with obstacles so I'm thinking crawling, up and down (they haven't released many details yet) but basically getting muddy is the title so you get the gist. Do you think I should do it?

spinningirl10 · 23/10/2014 06:46

Morning all Grin

Can I climb aboard please, due to get kicked off the pregtober bus any day after big temp drop.....there's no hiding from the witch!

Sorry to see so many familiar faces here but I know I'm in good company Grin

Another soy taker here, I've taken it for 2 cycles. I have regular 27/28 day cycles. First cycle stayed the same, this cycle I ov'd early so I'm going to have quite a short cycle. I upped the dose slightly this month so I think I'll drop it back to same as I took first time.
I'm also starting acupuncture and have a referral to the fertility clinic at the hospital.

I will do my stats when af arrives.....probably later today!

Good luck ladies Grin

MaGratgarlik1983 · 22/10/2014 23:22

Just updating stats:

MaGratgarlik1983, 31, ttc#1, cycle 3, AF/BFP due Nov 7th

Treaclepie19 · 22/10/2014 23:01

Thanks Broody, i really hope so :)
I was half tempted to avoid this cycle because after the mc I'm a bit nervous about being 8 weeks at Xmas time :/

broodylicious · 22/10/2014 22:43

Oh wankerty wank, treacle!! I was so hoping Pregtober would work it's magic on you. I'm so sorry xx But hey, pregvember will be ours sweet Smile

chandlers, so sorry to hear your meds haven't done the biz. You sound relatively chipper about things though so defo enjoy Thailand and thinking about that lovely pup pup you'll get when you're back, then just about training it before your bubba arrives SmileGrin take careThanksThanks

Nothing to report here on the ttc front but I've had an amazing day at the coronation street studio tour. Defo recommend it if you're a fan!

Treaclepie19 · 22/10/2014 22:30

Thank you x Me too :(
