I know its waaay early for a November bus to set off but AF arrived today kicking me off the September bus and with DH away next month the October bus is not an option. Anyone fancy joining me in the long wait? I don't expect much action on this thread for a few weeks but it would be nice to have some company. My stats are below:

iamevan, 35, TTC#2, cycle 6, BFP due 7th November

spinning great about the job offer. Well done! I hope that you and dp resolve things soon.

Quick biology question... where is my uterus. I couple of times today I have felt a sharp pokey pain about an inch below my belly button. This is too high to be anything exciting isn't it.

Only 6dpo today - so just wishful thinking. :)

Everyone else okay?

TheProofIsInThePudding · 26/10/2014 20:21

Happy Sunday, everyone!

We've had friends over this weekend and so there was quite a lot of gin consumed yesterday and consequently no DTD last night. I really don't understand how people can drunkenly have sex and forget the contraception and end up pregnant. For us getting drunk acts as the contraception!

Ohlordy I would assume that your DP's brother doesn't realise that it upsets you. You could ask them to call you Auntie: say how great their kids are and how much you enjoy being in their lives, would it be alright to call you Auntie Lordy?

Congrats on the job offer spinning I hope you can find an opportunity to talk things through with DH and work out a solution.

Blueskygirl30 · 26/10/2014 19:44

Spinning congratulations on being offered the job. I hope that your and your Dp can find a way to sort it out so that you're both happy with the work schedule. It's always so horrible arguing with partners, especially when they're not around to sort things out straight away.

Ohlordy do you think your OHs brother and his wife are doing it on purpose. If they're like that then I'd have a strong word with them or get your OH to raise it with them. However, if they're not normally malicious then it might just be them not knowing what to write. I know it sounds thick but my brother-in-law is not married to his partner and I never know what to write. First I wrote his first name, her first name, his surname but realised that was wrong and then I'd just write his full name on the envelope and write both their names in the card. Since reading your post I've realised that I was being an idiot and will write both their full names in the future. Hopefully they were just being idiots like me and you could bring it up in a jokey and friendly way for them to get the hint?

I've started taking Soy Isoflavones this month, I'm on cd5 today and taking them cd4-8 I'm going to start on a low dosage this month and see what happens.

spinning could you not do half and half? Work for dp and the new job? Suggest it to him maybe Smile

spinningirl10 · 26/10/2014 19:31

Blueberry, I hope the cramps and tiredness are positive signs for you.

I really don't know if I'll take it, it's only a part time job. I work now but it's a funny job, I work with dp, mornings only but I do it on my own so I find I spend a lot of time on my own as dp works long hours. I'd quite like to do this job as I'd be working with other people. I think dp's concern is the job I do for him which has to be done in the mornings. At the other job they said I can choose my hours which sounds fab.......I really need to talk to dp about it. I also think he's got used to be being around at all times so we can meet for lunch, go to the gym or for a walk whenever he has a quiet time. And with the law of sod I'm bound to get a bfp this month if I take the jobGrin

broodylicious · 26/10/2014 19:21

Oh mrse, you must be knackered too, with a non sleeping ds! Dd does love sleeping in our bed but she is also a thrasher and ends up kicking us all night which doesn't make for such a relaxing sleep for us. It's a lovely feeling though isn't it, co sleeping? Dh and I never knew about our "inner hippy" until we had dd; we have routine and boundaries but we are very much baby led with everything and have definite ideas about what we love and what we won't even contemplate (I daren't even utter the initials CC and CIO!ConfusedAngry but that's a whole other board!) Is your ds your only rubbish sleeper? Have any of the others had similar issues?

broodylicious · 26/10/2014 19:10

Bigs congrats spinning, well done you!! SmileWineThanks

Gosh sunbathing, those eight weeks have flown by! Can't believe that! The next four to your scan will too, I'm sure Smile You'd best share your pic of your womb?! I don't think I'd bother with an early scan either for vaguely similar reasons - plus, I just don't think I'd feel reassured until bubs pops out after nine months being baked to perfection.

xBlueberry88x · 26/10/2014 19:09

Evening ladies,

feeling so wiped out today been sat on sofa all day with cramps.

spinning I'm glad the interview went well do you think you will take it? Hope dp stops being a jackass and comes home soon.

sakura I agree with spinning it could be ovulation bleeding

Vicky hsg are supposed to be good wish it had worked for me

sorry I havent answered everyone im on my mobile!

welcome to all the newbies though!

spinningirl10 · 26/10/2014 18:56

Sakura, it could be a little bleeding from ovulation. I have read that sometimes the egg shoots out of the tube and can cause some blood. I've never experienced it. Or could it be from dtd maybe?

spinningirl10 · 26/10/2014 18:51

Welcome middle, good luck Grin

Ohlordy, your dp's brother sounds rather rude. Could your dp have a word with him about it?

Thank you for the job congratulations, you are all lovelyGrin
Dp doesn't know I've been offered the job......he's still out and he's working late now even though he was supposed to be having tonight off! He works for himself so he can pick and choose what he does........the bloody make up sex better be mind blowing for him being a twat for this length of time!!!!
My ds is at his dads this weekend so I'm just here on my own with my German student, my patience is wearing thin with him today.......on the plus side it's Downton tonight Grin

Quietlyhopeful81 · 26/10/2014 18:36

Awesome about the interview, Spinning!!!

Fx for you Victoria (and for everyone else of course!) Smile

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 26/10/2014 18:29

sakura some ladies get ovulation bleeding, as you ha EWCM and about right time in cycle it could be that?

victoria401 · 26/10/2014 18:01

Hi girls, hope you're all well?

I'd like to change my stats to Victoria401 34 ttc#1 cycle 24 bfp due Nov 17/18th. I think my hsg last month messed up my cycle and made it super short and super painful and heavy! Not nice! Cd7 today and finally stopped spotting. Ready for starting the dtd marathon, although dh is a bit poorly :-( he's had a cold and chest infection for 3 weeks now. Hope it won't affect his little guys!

Worked out that we have 3 cycles left before we go for fertility treatment and I'm feeling confident that the hsg has cleared my tubes out and something will happen! We have unexplained infertility so no reason why it shouldn't!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 26/10/2014 17:48

Well done spinning, congratulations! I had a sneaking suspicion you would get it Thanks

Sakura03 · 26/10/2014 17:29

Hi ladies, I have a question and I apologise in advance for tmi! I'm on cd12 and Friday + yesterday I noticed ewcm and today it brown just like when I'm about to come on or towards my end of my period. What does it mean???
I've never had it before, we dtd yesterday morning but haven't managed since. My cycle is a regular 28 days.

middles809 · 26/10/2014 16:58

Newbie here looking to catch the bus, at the very last minute.

middles809, 31, ttc#1, cycle 1, BFP due 30th November.

Me and the OH aren't officially trying but we're not avoiding either so we won't be going at it like crazy this month but I'm sure I'll be symptom spotting and praying AF doesn't show. Fingers crossed for you all.

Wow sunbathing 8 weeks, that's gone so quickly. Like treacle said its natural to worry but I'm sure everything will be fine and you'll feel more settled when you have the scan and have the confirmation all us well.
Well done with the interview spinning

Thepurplegiraffe · 26/10/2014 15:23

Congratulations Spinning that is a very quick offer. If you want the job you really should take it!

ohlordyplordy · 26/10/2014 15:15

Ooh november is fast approaching, I'm hopping for a bumper crop of bfps.
Rant warning.....I've been with oh for 12 years but we've never felt the need to get married. Oh has a brother and sister. His sister already had a dd when we met and within a year she asked if she could call me auntie. She now has a brother and I'm auntie to both.
Oh brother (older) was single and lived with parents for first few years we were together, then started internet dating, married and had dd quite quickly.
Whenever oh brother and wife send us post they either address to oh first and surname & my first name, or to uncle oh first name & my first name.
This makes me really angry and upset - they know my surname ( leaving it off makes me sound like ohs faithful labrador) but the worst bit is they don't address me as auntie. I feel that they are really devaluing our relationship and showing me no respect.
Some post arrived from them yesterday and I was swinging between raging and crying my eyes out. Am I being too sensitive?

Mumwannabe82 · 26/10/2014 14:20

Spinning that's brilliant news, well done Smile

lucieloos · 26/10/2014 14:12
