I know its waaay early for a November bus to set off but AF arrived today kicking me off the September bus and with DH away next month the October bus is not an option. Anyone fancy joining me in the long wait? I don't expect much action on this thread for a few weeks but it would be nice to have some company. My stats are below:

iamevan, 35, TTC#2, cycle 6, BFP due 7th November

Evening Ladies,

Spinning It was a blood test today going to call up tomorrow hopefully im ovulating now!! Glad to see you and DP are making up and that hes happy about the job!

Toots Sadly men just dont understand im always trying to eat healthy and exercise but my dp lives off chocolate and unhealthy food and has a habit of buying me a present like chocolate!

Vicky Glad you and your DH are good I was worried about you!

Want Thats a negative its needs to be as dark or darker

Not much going on here creamy cm and some cramps had a busy day today gonna chill out tomorrow!

MaMaPo · 27/10/2014 20:02

Those ic opks never worked for me either. I'm using cbfm for the first time this cycle and I just got my peak smiley face! Pleased about that because I'd just DTD before testing. Will try to DTD tonight or tomorrow as well, and then I guess it's time for the tww.

How was the roast, spinning? Smile

mistywillow17 · 27/10/2014 19:42

Happy to hear you've made up spinning

broody, campfire stew sounds yummy, I may have to get the slow cooker out.

In the really frustrating early stages of the two week wait at the moment. Trying to avoid symptom spotting, but not really succeeding.

Feeling a bit down as I can tell I'm getting a cold, have swollen glands and a sore throat haven't at all been excitedly googling "sore throat as an early pregnancy symptom" for the past half an hour

Orangeisthenewbanana · 27/10/2014 19:37

Right, have had time to catch up properly now!
spinning, so glad to hear that things are ok again with your DP. Enjoy your roast!

broody your dinner sounds yummy. Love my slow cooker too Smile

Good work on dtd want! Though if you're not expecting to ov until later this week, I'm sure your lines will carry on getting darker. And when in doubt, DTD!!

victoria401 · 27/10/2014 18:57

Glad you've made up spinning! Have a lovely dinner tonight. My dh is cooking too but only coz I've been working late tonight! Just on the bus back now to steak and chips! We are having iui by the way. 3 rounds on the nhs. I reckon because of the way my cycles will fall it won't start until mid Jan as they don't treat over Xmas. Good luck at the clinic, any questions feel free to pm me!

I've never got a proper positive on those ic ov sticks. I don't know what I do wrong as I know I ov. Maybe wee is too dilute?!

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 27/10/2014 18:56

From bottom to top: CD7, 8, 10, 11

Would have thought contrast would be greater like orange's? But they look similar last few days :S

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 27/10/2014 18:49

P.s my last 3 days of OPKs have looked like that tho this one ever so slightly darker

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 27/10/2014 18:47

Dtd just in case ;) due to ov between now and sat. Have had EWCM and some left (what I think is) ovary pain. Lines on OPKs fed getting darker anyway so no harm is stocking up on swimmers! Going to keep testing til I get a definite white negative and going to keep on dtd :) Cd6, 9 and 11 so far...

Boosk · 27/10/2014 18:37

Yay spinning glad he had seen sense and is looking after you. Enjoy your dinner. Reckon I might crack open the wine tonight Wink

Orangeisthenewbanana · 27/10/2014 18:24

Yay! It worked! Today's is at the bottom.

Orangeisthenewbanana · 27/10/2014 18:23

want, I would say that's negative but definitely heading in the right direction. Hopefully have attached a pic of my opk's for the last 4 days to compare...

Aaah spinning, really pleased you've made up. A roast dinner will certainly go some way to heal the aggro and upset of the last few days, I'm sure!

I'm totally knackered tonight. We have to start dtd ideally. I've put the slow cooker on (it's called campfire stew, with joint of gammon, baked beans, onion, garlic and tomato purée) and jacket potatoes in the oven - I just cba to do proper cooking with all the washing up that comes with it. We've got new windows for bathroom and kitchen and back door being installed on Thursday and Friday and so I'm trying to keep everywhere tidy as poss so it won't be ridiculously messy in every room! That's my excuse anyway!

Spinning - sounds like you have a keeper ! Considerate- even if he took time to think it through... Introverted perhaps bit of management training thing we did once where introverted - gets his energy /answers from internalised thought /extroverted - gets energy from talking things out loud with people? You are very lucky to have this man be the father of your kids one day- enjoy the food!( ps recipe for cauli cheese? I love that stuff but neverade it)

spinningirl10 · 27/10/2014 17:55

Thank you ladies, you're all fab at listening when I fill the thread up with my problemsSmile just gave dp a helping hand with the cheese sauce for the cauliflower, it's looking good.

Purple, frer are the best ones for testing early, they say you can test 6 days before af is due but not everyone will get a positive at that time even if they are pregnant.

Pikz · 27/10/2014 17:32

Very pleased spinning Smile

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 27/10/2014 17:29

apinning so please you and DH have made up, enjoy your steak!

Girls - do you think this is a post or neg opk? DH has 1hr at home before he goes out... Trying to decide whether to jump him or leave for tomorrow!!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 27/10/2014 17:28

So glad spinning. I don't think my dh has ever done that, your do is made of good stuff really Wink it's hard that we all deal with things differently, but well done you for being patient.

Thepurplegiraffe · 27/10/2014 17:12

That's fantastic news Spinning so glad he has come round. It sounds like he is feeling pretty bad for making you feel down.

Quick question, what is the earliest you can reasonably test on a frer? Got a big night out (for me) coming up a few days before af is due.

TheProofIsInThePudding · 27/10/2014 17:02

Like you said, spinning he just needed time to think and work out what he is feeling. You obviously know each other very well and I'm sure you'll be fine. Enjoy your dinner!

Thanks Dozy - glad to know I'm not alone! I'm also finding that I'm not particularly good at not going to the toilet for 4 hours! I used to be a teacher and could survive the whole day without going when necessary, but going to the loo whenever I want is one of my favorite things about not doing that job any more! only half joking

Victoria, thanks it's hard sometimes isn't it. Pleased all is ok now with yourself and dh.
How is your treatment going, I know you were heading to the fertility treatment but what are they doing for you?

Blueberry, have you had your scan today? How did it go Grin

spinningirl10 · 27/10/2014 16:51

Blue, good luck with your exams!

Magrat, hard to know with you being only 4/5 dpo but you only have to google early pregnancy symptoms to see that plenty of ladies say they have early signs, fx for you.

Well dp seems to have had a total turnaround. He's come home early with a huge piece of beef and says he's cooking a roast dinner!! He never cooks. I've been sent to put my feet up and watch TV. He gave me a big cuddle and said we'll talk later. I've told him about my job and he said that's really good news. Also a letter came confirming my 1st hospital appointment for fertility and it says we both have to attend. I thought he'd say no way as its a morning appointment but he said he'd be there with me.

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 27/10/2014 14:53

blue I have prof exams for work at end of November - 3hr15mins oh joy! Good luck Thanks

MaGratgarlik1983 · 27/10/2014 14:40

I'm only 4-5 dpo though - too early?? Madness! Good luck with the exams!
