I know its waaay early for a November bus to set off but AF arrived today kicking me off the September bus and with DH away next month the October bus is not an option. Anyone fancy joining me in the long wait? I don't expect much action on this thread for a few weeks but it would be nice to have some company. My stats are below:

iamevan, 35, TTC#2, cycle 6, BFP due 7th November

Thanks April, I have now officially been kicked off the October bus Hmm I don't mind about the stats, I'm happy to do them or if you want to carry on that's fine. Maybe we could share the load and each update things as and when we are about so it's not so much for one person x

ohlordyplordy · 28/10/2014 14:13

You're welcome april, glad you managed to 'deliver' them more easily lol.
Is anyone else having a mare with their temps since the clocks changed? My body hasn't got used to the time shift so having restless sleep and hence high temps.
Good news toots hope peak is on the way. Ooh 14th nov poas club? I could be c 12dpo then so may join :)

tootssw17 · 28/10/2014 13:54

jumps from foot to foot cb dual opk just started flashing smilie at me- could this actually be my first normal cycle in 13 years?

I work at same company as dh... Very difficult not to run up yo him squealing I might be ovulating this Week. Best not to assume I will as only the higher fertile zone not the actually peak but a girl can dream.

Making salmon and spinach dinner to ensure dh is in peak health - not sure I can or want to stop him from spinning( indoor cycle hot cahojnes kills off his swimmers) - this month - anyway if we have no success after 8cycles then I might consider this....

How are the rest of the 14th nov poas club doing?

Aprilray · 28/10/2014 13:32

Lucie, I was actually updating them last night and was going to post them but laptop was being slow so will post them later. You are welcome to take over if you like or I am happy to keep doing them if you would like a break. Sorry it looks like AF is on her way.

Thanks for the soft cup advice before Ohlordy and Dozy. I used them three times in total leaving them in over night and it was much easier to get them out with your tip Ohlordy. Thought I was going to have to get DH to help the first time!

I am pretty sure I am in the 2ww. Wanted to take my temp this morning to confirm that it is high and that I have likely oved but can't find it. Think I have hidden it from myself to stop myself obsessing over my temps...AF is due around next Wednesday/Thursday and I ordinarily get pre-AF cramps a good week before, nothing yet and hoping it stays that way.

Thepurplegiraffe · 28/10/2014 13:29

We got a slow cooker and have never used it. We really should. Can you really leave it all day while you are at work? Even if you are out the house for nearly 12 hours?

gennibugs · 28/10/2014 13:19

Oh and just to say i love slow cookers too. my mum got me one and they rock!

gennibugs · 28/10/2014 13:17

Hello all.

Cd 5 here - boooooring. Grin

lucie sorry to see you here. Hope its just spotting.

spinning glad you are friends with DH again! You've got me craving cauli cheese - guess what I'm having for dinner tonight Grin

Work is so so so busy I haven't had a chance to breathe. I'm hoping it calms down for my fertile week otherwise I'm going to be a walking zombie! Smile

Joey0805 · 28/10/2014 12:02

I have decided that I am NOT going to test too early this month, so pointless: I ended up using 3 FRERs last month because each time I got a negative I was like "oh well it's too early to test anyway". So, updated stats are: joey0805, 32, TTC#1, cycle 2, BFP due 5th Nov. let's see if I can hold out that long x

ohlordyplordy · 28/10/2014 11:45

Ooh so much to catch up on!
Cd8 here so going to start the opks tonight.
Love the typo lucie 'amour bfps' - perfect x

lucieloos · 28/10/2014 09:57

Hi there got a little bit of spotting this morning and a temp drop so think AF will be here by tomorrow so will officially hop on this bus. I need to amend my stats, not sure if April is still doing them? Otherwise I can change later on this evening. I really hope we get amour bfps before Xmas, would be so amazing!

Lucieloos, 35, TTC#1, cycle 9, bfp due 22nd November

Treaclepie19 · 28/10/2014 08:56

Morning :)
cd7 today so ready to start trying again. Slowly coming out of the af has arrived moping and ready for the charge at dh relentless dtd :p

spinningirl10 · 28/10/2014 08:39

Well done want, good workWink

Quietly, I think dtd as much as you are both willing and able Grin

Orangeisthenewbanana · 28/10/2014 08:38

Quietly I was thinking about that this morning too. We were going to go for eod but ended up dtd Sunday and again last night as I figured with a positive on Sunday, Tuesday would be too late! Actually, I got an even darker line on opk last night so that was lucky!

Tbh, I think we'd both find every day a bit much. DH takes longer IYSWIM and often that leads to him getting frustrated. I also think it's nice for him to recharge the swimmers a bit longer! We're having a day off today and will probably try again tomorrow. I guess it's best to just do it as often as you can in line with your usual sex drives and time it as best you can with ov - if you're not quite sure when ov happens, eod might be best to cover a longer period? Whereas if you know pretty much the exact day, it's probably best to just go for it as often as possible then? Who knows! Confused

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 28/10/2014 08:24

Hehe spinning yes we did dtd ;) going to try do eod until weekend now as DH has friends per at the weeken and will be awkward dtd when they in the house! Cd12 today so still time yet :)

Quietlyhopeful81 · 28/10/2014 08:19

Morning ladies!

Glad you enjoyed your roast Spinning and that everything is ok with you. I saw the Robbie YouTube videos. I agree with you on the frozen thing ??

I bought a slow cooker a few years ago. Got excited (knew I was getting older at that point!) and used it to make a multitude of meals, then got bored, put it in a cupboard and haven't used it since.

Anyways, CD11 here. As I said before, I don't Temp or use OPKs yet, so I'm going by my FF app which says today is the start of my fertile days. So far we have dtd on CD 3, 5, 7, 8 and 10. I've read online (eyeroll) that some people think every day is best in your fertile time and others say every other day. What do you ladies tend to go for when possible?

spinningirl10 · 28/10/2014 06:50

Morning Grin

Wanttobe, hope you dtd, your +opk could come at any timeGrin

Toots, I don't follow a recipe for cauliflower cheese, I just make the cheese sauce following the chuck it all in sort of methodWink it was probably the first thing I learned to cook as I used to love pasta and cheese Grin I'm sure if you google you'll find a recipe but always add more cheese for a really cheesy sauce!

Broody, I used to have a slow cooker, really should get another one. They are fab and it's so easy to throw it all in the morning and come home to find dinners all ready!

Victoria, pleased you're getting the help you need now at the clinic, really hope you get your sticky bfp soon. I think they'll do some tests for us, just to check everything's in working order. I have 2 children (dp doesn't have any) I had a mc a year ago so I guess that shows I can get pregnant. I'm older though so I do worry about that.

Ceds, good luck to you.

Genni, well done on the Squash game, that's one thing I've never tried but I've heard it's hard work!

Thank you so much ladies for all your support and kind words, you are all so lovelyThanks
All is well in the Spinning household this morning, roast was lovely, ended up as a team effort but that was fun. Had a good chat last night and some fun making upWink
I'm cd5 so will start soy again tonight.

I've just been watching the you tube videos of a Robbie Williams and his wife. She gave birth to their baby boy last night and he was singing and dancing throughout!! I'm a big Robbie fan but wouldn't have been amused at him singing that bloody Frozen song!!

Dozygirl · 27/10/2014 23:35

Sorry I've had a busy day today so only just catching up.

Spinning ao glad you've made up with DP and that he's being so supportive in your ttc journey. Double bonus there.

Proof I try to have a drink diest thing in the morning then pee about ten then hold off till 2 to test. I have still got positives when I haven't left it four hours. I forget to drink quite often anyway so I'm probably dehydrated anyway lol.

Wanttobe keep testing and dtd. mine negatives vary from white to close to the control and there is no pattern but this month I tested twice a day and had a really close to positive one in the morning then a positive by 4pm the same day.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 27/10/2014 22:33

Thanks broody I'm a slow cooker fan, but I need a second one as there's so many of us. So I'll pop to lidl and have a look. Have you tried the whole chicken? Dead easy. It's my cheat dinner.

broodylicious · 27/10/2014 21:28

I can definitely recommend campfire stew ladies - totally delish!! Nom nomSmile I honestly don't know what I did before I had a slow cooker, it's just so easy peasy and can shove anything in there. I'm going to try doing a cake/pud in there soon. I think Aldi or Lidl and Tesco have them on special offer at the mo, defo recommend it xx

gennibugs · 27/10/2014 21:25

spinning so pleased you and DH are friends again Grin

blueberry fx for your results - hope you are ov now

victoria glad things are progressing. I'm still here, we have until January then we'll be starting our ivf journey as some of my tests have not come back great and we don't have any more time to lose now.

I've just had a very vigorous game of squash. I'd forgotten now intense it can be! Booked in again to play next Monday too!

ceds86 · 27/10/2014 21:23

Margrat I don't know how many DPO I am as i don't temp of do OPKs, but I do now that about 5 days of ewcm has now finished and I have had terrible cramps today, actually currently in bed as they're so sore. And also tired and gassy (any one have any ideas when I would have ovd? If it was 25 day cycle like last month it would have been roughly Tuesday ( I did have cramps that day) or as the ewcm continued I wonder if I ovd a bit later?! Argh! Was determined not to think / worry about it this month!!

Thepurplegiraffe · 27/10/2014 21:13

7 I think but I don't temp so can't be sure. Don't remember any cramping with previous bfps so not sure it means anything in my case. I always seem to be getting twinges here and there. I hear it's a good symptom though so fingers crossed for you!

MaGratgarlik1983 · 27/10/2014 20:59

Ooh purple how many dpo are you?

Thepurplegiraffe · 27/10/2014 20:54

I have a bit but no idea if it means anything.

MaGratgarlik1983 · 27/10/2014 20:51

Ooh might have to buy a slow cooker - sounds fab!

Getting really crampy and gassy (tmi!) tonight. Anyone else had this early on?
