I know its waaay early for a November bus to set off but AF arrived today kicking me off the September bus and with DH away next month the October bus is not an option. Anyone fancy joining me in the long wait? I don't expect much action on this thread for a few weeks but it would be nice to have some company. My stats are below:

iamevan, 35, TTC#2, cycle 6, BFP due 7th November

Sorry you're having a tough time evan. We're in very similar situations: I'm also cycle 6 and my BFP is due just after yours, also TTC #2 and I'm just a bit older than you. I'm happy to compare notes.

I've been finding it relatively tough but actually, the last 2 cycles has been both easier and more difficult. Earlier on I don't think my husband was 100% on board. Sure, he wants another child but I get the feeling he was assuming we would conceive very quickly (as we did with our first) and so it's been only recently that I've felt that he's been on the same page as me, in terms of taking it seriously! So in terms of DTD etc it's been loads better, but the arrival of AF has been more difficult.

To keep positive I've been trying new things every cycle or so. I started temping after about 2 cycles, I've had no luck with OPKs but invested in a CBFM this cycle which seems to be working well (and DH likes me to announce grandly 'Today my fertility is... HIGH!' each morning... weirdo). If this doesn't work after a couple of cycles I might try EPO to increase my CM (something you could consider?). I need to feel like I'm keeping active!

Anyway, definitely hoping for a BFP this month. We have managed 3xDTD right on my fertile time (which might not sound a huge amount but with a toddler we feel pretty triumphant!) and I might have one more go even though I suspect and hope that I'm ovulating right now and will see the evidence of it on my temping tomorrow morning.

Here's the two week wait. Feel free to come and symptom spot with me, Evan! I hope you feel better soon.

Cariad2014 · 28/10/2014 23:49

Sorry to hear you've been feeling blue IamEvan. Thanks for starting the thread. I shall be keeping everything crossed on 6th November in the hope that you get your BFP.

Cariad2014 · 28/10/2014 23:46

Awesome news Blueberry - woop woop!

Sorry to see you joining us from the October bus Lucie. I hate AF so very much. Out of interest, how much EPO have you been taking? I've been taking 2600 mg a day of EPO since Sunday (in an attempt to counteract any drying out impact caused by Berocca which I'm taking to try and kill off a cold), but as my cycles are quite regular with a 13 day luteal phase I'm starting to worry that it might not have the desired effect.

Good luck with the scan on Saturday MrsE. Soy twins sounds fab!

AF was super heavy this month (the joy!) although I suspect that following an ectopic/mc this is par for the course. Currently battling a horrific sore throat and winter cold and consoling myself with the fact that as it's only CD5 I can at least raid the cold and flu section of the pharmacy without worrying too much. Still feeling (and looking) like death warmed up though. The fact that work is super busy at the moment isn't helping either. Really hope I feel better before the weekend so that our dtd-athon can commence.

IamEvan · 28/10/2014 23:34

Hi all! After starting this thread I hid away for over a month as was feeling very down in the dumps. having logged back in it's great to see such a lively discussion!

it's cycle 6 and for the last couple of months TTC has been really getting me down. heres to a bfp on the 6th november- spent most of last week dtd.

I never seem to get cervical mucus- does that mean there's something wrong? don't recall ever getting any, and I did eventually manage to conceive DS1 so hopefully it's possible without it again...

I am finding this TTC business ridiculously stressful and irritating and feel a bit sorry for myself over the last while. really need to get over it, but finding it a bit hard to shift myself out of the funk.

I have my fingers crossed for everyone - BFPs all around! lets hope this bus is a lucky one! I have seen many names from earlier buses get their BFPs so that's encouraging, its good to remember that it WILL happen for us

Excellent news Blueberry!

We've just been out with our neighbours. She is 6 months pregnant and I think I did a very good job of not asking any awkward/personal questions! (Although I might well have done had our DHs not been there!)

We had to rush out and I didn't have time to let an OPK develop properly. When I left it looked negative, but when I got back it might be construed as positive. We're DTD tonight anyway so that's fine. If it was positive today can I expect it to also be positive tomorrow? First cycle with OPKs and using ICs, so don't quite know what to expect!

Huffs123 · 28/10/2014 22:26

Ceds- yes that does sound like it. I guess it felt like a bolt of lightning in my bits! I've just searched my old antenatal thread and I'm definitely complaining about it! I can't remember when it first started though, quite soon I think.

Sounds promising to me!!

Sakura03 · 28/10/2014 22:07

That's brilliant news Blueberry!!!
I'm definitely going to look out for offers on slow cookers now as the recipes on here sounds yummy and so easy!
My cycle is 28 days, Dtd Saturday morning and tonight (cd11 and cd14), would have liked to have dtd yesterday but dp too tired. I'm hoping it's enough? I was sooo hot last night which woke me up and this happens once a month. I put it down to ovulation but too be honest that's just me guessing as I have never used OPK's. What do you ladies think?

ceds86 · 28/10/2014 22:06

Huffs - what are your memories of lightening crotch? trying to work out what the hell the feeling I had earlier was... It kind of felt like inside me and down below rather than to a side... Jus a really sharp pain that I couldn't ignore.... Does that sound like it?

Huffs123 · 28/10/2014 21:56

Hi guys, lots to read and catch up with!

I'm cycle day 18 now and have definitely been feeling some twinges the past couple of days. I'm pretty sure I had them with ds and I definitely have memories of lightning crotch!!

nutelladipper · 28/10/2014 21:40

Hi can I join in. Just left October after af kept me waiting 4 days - the tease.

Ttc #3, cycle #2, BFp due 25/11

MrsExtraOrdinary · 28/10/2014 21:34

Evening all, are you all nearly ready for the off? Been checking out the stats to see whose up first. Gosh there's so many now. Be cheering you all on of course. It's a bit odd not seeing my name amongst you. Still feel a bit homeless without you all.

Booked a private scan on Saturday so hoping to see the heartbeat. I'll be 8 weeks. Feeling sick as a dog and very fat. Smile

EnglishGirlsReturned · 28/10/2014 21:18

Just hopping on to say YAY to Blueberry! Fantastic news that you've ovulated!! Hope one of DH's swimmers have done the job, how many dpo are you then?

xBlueberry88x · 28/10/2014 21:04

haha laid an egg!!

Dozygirl · 28/10/2014 20:58

And want defo just keep DTD and t testing twice a day if u can until u know for sure that you've defo either ov'd or not. If you've got the stamina then the more u do it the best chance you've got. :)

Dozygirl · 28/10/2014 20:55

Yey blueberry that's brilliant news! Hope you've been doing lots of BD too Halloween Wink

Oooh lots of me emojis!! Haloween SadHalloween AngryHalloween Biscuit

Love it haha.

Toots definitely think we should have parties for everything! What fun it would be!

I've finally chosen my Halloween outfit and gonna be a pumpkin rather than something gruesome for a change. Just need to find some stripey tights and an orange wig. Working till 9pm so needed something I could throw on quickly. I'm in the tww but just gonna treat this tww as though I'm not pregnant to see if that helps me relax more.

Blue500 · 28/10/2014 20:29

Hi all, just catching up on everything. Gonna read through the thread now...

Exams are all finished and I finished with a large wine spurge for the last few hrs ( was a bit dubious as to whether I should drink or not as I'm 7dpo but I've convinced myself I'm not pg this month so it's not a big deal!)

MrsGingerbread · 28/10/2014 20:29

Wow Blueberry ! You laid an egg! Well done! :D

Treacle Very impressive. :) I made pasta once - never again!

Sunbathing I am expecting af at the end of this week (depending if last month's longer lp was down to b6 or a fluke! ). If she hasn't made an appearance by Saturday morning then I'll be poas-ing, I will be 12 dpo if stays away that long.)

Aprilray · 28/10/2014 20:08

Fab news about the blood test Blueberry! So pleased for you that the clomid has worked it's magic Smile

I really want to test this weekend as it is our wedding anniversary and what better present than a BFP but AF isn't due until Thursday and told myself I would wait until I'm a couple of days late before testing....

tootssw17 · 28/10/2014 20:05

Massive congrats blueberry - forget bfp of test for pg - we should also have massive ov celebrations be it copious ewcm , poa(opk)s, smily, flashing smiley, ov twinge and every other ov symptom celebrations! Wooo wiggggle wooo

Bugger! Forgot to say a humungous congrats to blueberry's organs for doing what they should be!!! Happy Ovulation, lovely SmileThanks

broodylicious · 28/10/2014 19:59

Hi all. Just caught up on the thread for today - we sure can chit chat on this bus, can't we!

purple, yeah, you can just shove everything in the slow cooker, pop off to work and walk through the door at night to a lovely smelling house and yummy tea! Mine doesn't have it but you can get them with timers so they'll start/shut off when you need them to. It's fab!

Nov 14th poas club member here too. Haven't even dtd yet this cycle. Tonight though we are starting. I've not had a positive opk yet but there have been lines and had a bit of ewcm (although I've never seemed to get much after the mc) so I'm just going for it, eod and keep poas.

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 28/10/2014 19:37

That should say no attention

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 28/10/2014 19:37

sunbathing no idea when I normally ovulate last month was CD16 but this is only cycle 2 after being on pill for 8yrs! An clearly as a 15yr old I paid ok attention to what my body was up to Grin just gotta keep dtd

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 28/10/2014 19:35

treacle you even made the pasta?! :O that is impressive

DH is eating sausages he found at the back of the freezer that were put there a year ago (I joke not) he is making me pasta as I said I wouldn't eat the year-old sausages :D he is too good to me! Knackered after aerobics tho need to muster up some energy to dtd later!
