I know its waaay early for a November bus to set off but AF arrived today kicking me off the September bus and with DH away next month the October bus is not an option. Anyone fancy joining me in the long wait? I don't expect much action on this thread for a few weeks but it would be nice to have some company. My stats are below:

iamevan, 35, TTC#2, cycle 6, BFP due 7th November

hi everyone!

twins... definitely, I really didn't want them for DC1 or 2 but this time I'd love it (and be petrified!) but alas, I'm not going to turn my nose up at just one Wink Grin

cariad I hope you're feeling better soon and TTC can commence!

I know it's really difficult when other people announce pregnancies but now I try to remind myself that you never really know what they have been through to get there and on a positive note, if they can do it then surely I can! Smile

Sakura03 · 30/10/2014 07:59

Genni, I'm in a similar situation, a colleague has just announced she's pregnant, she's only 11 weeks but has told us this early because she's been off with ms. We're in a small office and I'm the only one left who hasn't got kids yet. Sometimes it just gets a bit much with all the pregnancy talk in the office...She's always said she didn't want kids but that obviously changed and she got pregnant really quick. Anyway good on her, I just want it to happen to me too:-)

I have a question to the experienced OPK ladies: my friend gave me her last two boots opk's (she's pg) so I gave it a go yesterday but nothing (cd15) so I thought I might have missed it as my cycle's 28 days but then I thought I had quite a lot of ewcm which confused me??We dtd last night just in case and I decided to use the last opk this morning and got two lines so I'm now even more confused!!! Should we continue dtd for another couple of days? I assumed I was ovulating on cd14 but I guess I'm not (I apologise for my ignorance you can tell I'm a newbie).

Hope you all have a good day, catch up tonight!

quick update - bfn this morning, so looks like yesterday;s line was an evap after all
On the plus side, it's still very early so I am still in with a chance this cycle

Treaclepie19 · 30/10/2014 07:42

Sending hugs cariad x
I think we all need bfp's this month. We deserve them!

Thepurplegiraffe · 30/10/2014 07:32

How are you feeling now Cariad? Hope you are on the mend.

Cariad2014 · 30/10/2014 07:13

Thanks for all your kind messages. Apologies for bringing my horrid cold onto the bus. Misty and MaG - I hope you feel better soon, although I'm secretly hoping that as you're both post-ov, this is a SYMPTOM.

Genni - Sorry you were baby bombed. DH and I are also in the midst of a baby boom in RL right now, with only one couple out of our friends who aren't expecting or have kids (and even they're trying). DH has been brilliant but I also feel like a failure. Enormous hugs Thanks Know that you're not alone, and as others have said, do feel free to vent/ chat on here whenever you need to. You WILL get there in the end.

Treaclepie19 · 30/10/2014 07:07

Af should be here the 17th Boosk, I'm never sure though as they've been so up and down.

Thepurplegiraffe · 30/10/2014 06:42

11dpo here and no real symptoms. I'm not giving up hope yet though as I don't remember any symptoms at this stage in earlier pregnancies.

Not sure about twins, I have seen people trying to cope with them and it doesn't look easy!

Boosk · 30/10/2014 06:25

Yay treacle cycle twins (ish) although I think from when I last saw the stats you are a couple of days ahead on testing?

Also Yay for twins, I have always wanted twins. Especially now I'm older, it would be nice to get my babies in fewer pregnancies. I had sweet potato last night too Wink

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 30/10/2014 06:24

That shoul have been flowers Thanks

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 30/10/2014 06:24

toots that is some impressive dtd!

genni [thanks{

MrsGingerbread · 30/10/2014 04:51

Hmph, 10 dpo today, no symptoms and think I am resigned that this isn't our month.

Feeling okay about it actually, in fact I am curious to see what my lp does this time - it was longer last month (after I upped my b6) so I am keen to see if that happens again this month or if it was a fluke. :)

Oh genni :(
I can really relate to what you're saying.
We've been trying officially for 10 months but its actually been 12 nowa and had a mc in that time.
The other day DH was so angry that someone who has got their baby and started ttc same time as us just doesn't appreciate what they've got.
It brought it home for me too.
Big hugs xxx

Orangeisthenewbanana · 29/10/2014 23:08

Sorry you're feeling down genni Thanks. It's so, so hard when you hear news that you know you should be happy for your friends about, and you also beat yourself up for being jealous it's not you Sad. Hang on in there and chat on the bus about it. We all know how you feel and know you WILL get your bfp soon.

Think DH and I have done with the business-like dtd for this cycle. Opk line was fainter tonight (CD19). Dtd days 13, 16, 17 and 19 and if I ov'd it would have probably been day 17 or 18 going by opk's so happy with how we've timed things. Feel generally a lot more relaxed this month. Have got to grips a lot better with my cycle/opk's and know we've done all we can dtd-wise. Just up to fate now!

Dozygirl · 29/10/2014 22:25

Genni don't u worry about having a downer on here. It's what this bus is here for. It is heartbreaking seeing others get pregnant around u when its not happening for u and I really hope it is your turn soon. Are u looking into getting help for fertility ? Hopefully u don't have to go down that root but now you're closer everyday to your BFP. I totally get the pain tho hugs

tootssw17 · 29/10/2014 21:36

Big hugs genni don't worry - you will get your bean when you are meant to- think of the hand me downs coming your way one day;) book something to do like short noticewine tasting that kid and pg can't do!

Am Ov symptom watching- have a very cold nose - is this ov? Or am I a dog Just ate a bowl of pasta as I was upset I didn't lose at slimming world this eve- talk about comfort food.

Dragging dh to bed soon - he actually asked me last night what happens if he is not up to it..theoretically of course . Apparently the look I gave him Made him re think ever asking again. Oops. I have made him dtd cd 9 10 11 12 13 14 (which is today) and plan for this till Friday or sat . Irregular cycle so no real window so no escape.

Tempted to poas opk right now to see if it is changing at all- my flashing smiley again first thing .... Is it too late to do this right now? 9.30pm?

MaMaPo · 29/10/2014 21:34

Blueberry I'm going to call it. Bfp for you.

MaMaPo · 29/10/2014 21:32

Genni, never apologise! It's hard to feel that mixture of pleased for someone else's good news and sorrow and disappointment that is not you. I hope you feel better in the morning but don't beat yourself up if you don't.

So,some advice please? (I just wow this whole post but mn ate it) I'm on CD16. Usually I temp and ovulate around CD14 or so. This month I've started using CBFM. It gave me high readings on CD12-13 and peak readings cd14-15. Only two days of high. We DTD on day 12, 14 and 15 and felt happy we'd timed it quite well.

This morning I took my temp and now FF is saying that actually I ovulated on CD13 so I'm 2 dpo already.

Anyone got any advice? My temp rise on FF isn't at all marked otherwise I'd have noticed it. Do you think my timing is going to be ok?

Oh thanks for the stats bonny! I actually think a 25-50% chance isn't too bad!

MademoiselleG · 29/10/2014 21:29

So sorry you're feeling down genni - it's so upsetting when the baby-bombs happen. It'll happen for you guys too, there's no reason why it shouldn't. It's just so, so upsetting when it doesn't happen quickly enough. I've hidden at least 20 friends on FB now - even newlyweds are silenced as they might make an announcement!

AFM: 10 days of flashing smileys / high fertility but thus afternoon's ic was out of this world: test line darker than the control line. Phew! I thought this was going to be another anovulatory cycle, but we might be in luck. Let's hope it happens soon as I'm away from dh for 4 nights from Friday!!

Big waves to all the familiar names Thanks

xBlueberry88x · 29/10/2014 21:28

genni I know the feeling but you just cant let it take over hun because it will eat you up. You have not let anyone down there isnt anything that you have done or could have done. Were all here for you lovely.

bovny only have a few days left AF due around Tuesday so we shall see.

Ladies my god my boobs hurt! All the way from near my shoulder around both boobs and nipples like bullets. As well as low down cramps its driving me nuts.
On the plus side dp is off tomorrow so were going shopping for clothes and were going to Christmas world fun times

MaGratgarlik1983 · 29/10/2014 21:21

Oh genni don't apologise - it's really hard. I got FB pics of three - count them three - babies doing cute things when I logged in today. Utter argh.

gennibugs · 29/10/2014 21:17

Self indulgent post alert - sorry. DH came home with the news that the last of our non pregnant friends are pregnant. its a honeymoon baby. he's taken it really badly as now we literally are the only ones not with kids or pg. I'm trying to be smiley and positive to try and cheer him up but I'm barely holding it together myself. I'm really pleased for them, they are lovely and it's such happy news, but...I don't know...its really hit home how hard this is for us. And I know 12 cycles probably isn't that long. I've just never seen DH so sad. I feel like I've failed somehow.

I don't even know why I'm posting this, perhaps because, like I say, I'm barely keeping it together and I know you ladies won't mind.

I'm sure this is just a wobble and ill be all positive and optimistic tomorrow when I wake.

Sorry for such a "me"post. I just needed to write it down.

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 29/10/2014 21:11

Just have to be one of the other 50% dozy some of us on this thread will get pg this month, think positive that it could be you! :)

MaGratgarlik1983 · 29/10/2014 21:10

Ladies I think I've finally got the bug going round - sore throat, sniffly, and a bit of a temp / chills. Is this dangerous during the 2ww? On 6-7 dpo and also getting cramps, tiredness, hunger.
