Thinking of you Ruby, you've obviously given your rainbow a very comfy home. Good luck with the section today

OwlinaTree · 16/09/2014 09:21

Thinking of you ruby.

EarthWindAnd9 · 16/09/2014 08:55

Oh my goodness Ruby you have done spectacularly well. I hope they have you in theatre early on this morning. Lots of love to you and Bear x

missalexandra · 16/09/2014 08:33

RubyYou must be so tired, well done for trying! Just a few more hours now till you finally have Bear in your arms at last. Will be thinking of you all day xx

Ducky23 · 16/09/2014 06:40

At least we know today will be the day! You must be exhausted! It will be worth it though! Grin

AllTerrainMammy · 16/09/2014 06:36

Oh Ruby, this little one is keeping you hanging on isnt it?! Really hope there has been some progress overnight. If not though, at least you know you get to meet your baby today!

Thinking of you so much and hoping all goes smoothly with the c-section if it comes to that. Hope you're managing to rest a little too despite it taking so long. How's DH managing? Take care x

MademoiselleG · 16/09/2014 06:34

Oh goodness Ruby - you definitely did try! I'm incredibly impressed. You must be so exhausted and impatient! All the very, very best and thank you so much for updating us, as you can see, we are ALL holding you close in our thoughts xx

SpanielFace · 15/09/2014 23:06

Ruby, how exciting! I had CS with DS, and once I got over the shock, it was fine, and I had a fast recovery. Not long to wait now! Hope all goes well.

Thanks for the advice. I'm still "waiting and seeing". I feel crampy and premenstual today, so suspect AF is on it's way.

Rubyshoe · 15/09/2014 22:52

Hi all just to let u know had 5th and final dose of prostin this afternoon as they have still been unable to break my waters. It looks unlikely this one has worked either. Unless something miraculous happens overnight we will b having a section tomorrow. Can't say we didn't try! Feel fine about section, just really looking forward to holding our little one. Contractionary waves to all x Smile

EarthWindAnd9 · 15/09/2014 22:11

Ruby, I'm continuing to hold you in my thoughts x

MademoiselleG · 15/09/2014 18:40

How are you feeling Critter? Not long til Thursday!

CritterPants · 15/09/2014 13:53

At work but wanted to wish Ruby good luck! Cheering you on. X x

kayleighferrie1985 · 15/09/2014 09:57

ruby i'm glad you managed some sleep. Have they broken your waters yet?

spaniel as ducky said morning urine is more concentrated so if you're testing early there will be a stronger concentrate of the HCG.

Waves to all xx

Ducky23 · 15/09/2014 06:43

Ruby glad you managed to get some sleep! Did they manage to break your wAters? X

Spaniel, even though I thought I felt 'ready' to TTC again, I was a wreck when I got my BFP. I was screaming and crying, that's not like me at all. I also started TTC before the pm results, in a way I am glad I did as they were pretty inconclusive. I think after what we all went through, anything like that is truly terrifying, even if you think you are reaDy. If you take a test use first morning urine as it's more concentrated, I hope you get the result you want x

AllTerrainMammy · 15/09/2014 05:32

DD just woke up so have settled her and thought I'd take the opportunity to pop in and see how things are going!

So glad you've managed some rest and are feeling a little better for it. Your post was a few hours ago now, I hope that things have started to progress for you. Keep being so strong, you're doing so well. X

Rubyshoe · 15/09/2014 02:39

Thanks all, as ever u r very insightful and I appreciate it. Asked the midwife last night at 9pm if I should keep mobilising and bouncing on the ball ( I started at 07.30 am) and she just said "get some sleep". Have had 4 hours and feel like a different person! Much less snivelly! Midwife who has felty tummy thinks baby has definitelyoved down ( it's been waving in the breeze mostly) so am feeling hopeful that will help them break my waters. Thanks for the support everyone x
Mad no judgement from me. I used OPKs and CBFM after losing 'H'. To b honest they were my main source of happiness for quite a while as they reassured me things were 'working'. You do whatever you need to do to get through x
Blue 3 weeks to go!? So excited for you, keep going x Grateful waves to all x

SpanielFace · 14/09/2014 23:10

Thanks kayleigh, I thought about POAS, but I remember with Alex that I did a pregnancy test one evening and it was negative, then the following morning I did it again and it was positive - hormone levels are lower at night or something, I think? Plus DH is away with work, and I wouldn't want to do it alone. I'm working tomorrow and Tuesday this week so I will be distracted. If AF not here by Wednesday I will test. I'm sure it will be, though. Not sure what I feel about that, either.

kayleighferrie1985 · 14/09/2014 22:51

ruby will keep my fingers crossed things speed up for you, although i hope you're managing to get some rest in preparation too. Sending hugs x

spaniel if you're really worried and AF doesn't arrive do a test. It's understandable that you're emotions will be all over the place. Keep us posted x

SpanielFace · 14/09/2014 22:21

I've just read some of the thread - Lake, your daughter's funeral
sounds beautiful. Thinking of you xx

missalexandra · 14/09/2014 22:18

Just got back from the cinema, spent the whole film thinking about Ruby and Bear! Hope things are moving along by now Ruby, and I echo what other ladies have said - feel free to do/say whatever you feel like right now, you are in the midst of one of the most emotionally and physically difficult moments of your life! Hugs to you and your DH too x

Waves to all

Hi, I lost the thread & then found you on this one!

Ruby, hope all is going well for you - how exciting! Will you keep posting?

I am posting to off load, as I am worrying. We had too much to drink on holiday 2 weeks ago, and dtd with no condom Blush Just once, and DH actually pulled out before the end, as we are not supposed to be trying yet, we still haven't had Alex's PM results - appointment is 25th. My period is due tomorrow and my boobs are really sore. I'm sure it's probably just normal
PMT and nothing else, but... What if it's not? I'm sure I can't be, who gets pregnant that easily, really? It's ridiculous to even think it. But it's made me think about how is feel if I was, and I don't even know. I'm still very much grieving Alex, and it's making me question whether I'm ready to try again, even if the doctor says it's ok. But then I'm desperate to have another baby Sad my emotions are so mixed up.

I've not had a chance to read the new thread properly yet, but I hope everyone else is ok.

MademoiselleG · 14/09/2014 21:42

Re-read my post and what I meant was: "EVEN IF you had been self-indulgent, you would have a get out of jail free card".
Thank you all for the reassurance scout being normal in being obsessive Wink

EarthWindAnd9 · 14/09/2014 21:32

Ruby your post wasn't self indulgent at all, and even if it were I think you're allowed to be. I hope you've a managed to have a little bit of sleep. We are all cheering you on.

Mad-no judgement here. I used OPKs for my rainbow (from CD6...) and I must have peed on at least 15pg tests after my BFP

MademoiselleG · 14/09/2014 21:28

Eeerrrr, Ruby, you're in labour. You have a "get out of jail free card" for any type of self indulgence or whinging. We are probably not helping with our barely contained excitement for you!
(Earth: this will be you sooner than you know, better prepare yourself!)

Gearing up to dutifully dtd tonight. (Sigh)

Hugs to you all x

Ducky23 · 14/09/2014 20:52

Your so close ruby Grin can't wait to hear all about the birth! X

Yeaaa go m!!! (I think I took my first pg test at 2dpo with my little boy so Deffo not judging Blush) x
