Hi everyone. I'm about to embark on another 2ww (ovulating today) and wondered if there was anyone else out there in the same position who wanted to come along for the ride!

Only cycle 2 TTC #2 but took 13 months last time so crossing everything!!

Oh 59 sorry af got you :( great you are remaining positive . Onwards & upwards

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 30/10/2014 14:49

Oh 59 so sorry the hag found you. But I'm again impressed at your attitude. Well done for being so positive it is so hard to get bogged down in all aspects of TTC. This is a fresh new month Smile

I'm out, AF got me this morning, a day early Sad. Had a good cry and now thinking onwards and upwards...

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 30/10/2014 11:04

Babybump how long is your cycle? OPKs usually come with instructions on when to start testing based on your cycle length. I normally start around CD11/12 and dtd every other day until I confirm ovulation with a temp rise. Usually after your first positive you can expect to ov anywhere from 12 to 36 hours. Exciting times Smile

Thanks for letting me rant. I didn't have this with DD as lines and digis gave normal readings all the time. I probably should stop testing now!!!! Blush

Hi All!

Lost you for a bit there! Trying to catch up!

Gillian Good luck with the test! Keep us posted!

Mooley rant away! Its so scary when that happens!

AF has finished early - does that mean I might ovulate earlier? I bought some IC ovulation sticks but when should I start using them & what exactly does it mean if I get a positive? Does it mean I should start trying then or wait 24 hours?

xxx

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 30/10/2014 05:36

Hi ladies,

Sound well done on the will power to not test. I think you should though. Symptoms sound promising and your so close to suspected AF that a test should be pretty accurate!

Crystal at 3dpo you are probably experiencing an estrogen surge, this can sometimes cause weird CM and is common at this point in the 2ww. I know it's so hard not to symptom spot but the eggy will still be making its journey down the Fallopian tube and at this early stage your body won't even know you are upduffed.

Scary how are we doing? Any ov signs yet?

Gillian good luck with the blood test. Let us know how it goes. Fx'd for you Smile

Well I'm 19dpo today temps are now officially triphasic buying worried because on 13dpo I took a clear blue digi and it said pregnant 1-2 which was fine. I took another yesterday afternoon (so not FMU!) and it's still saying the same thing. I'm worried that twiglet has stopped growing!! I know I should stop testing and what will be will be but I'm a bit stressed about it now. I'm off today so might get an FRER to see if the lines even darker than the last.

Sorry to rant when so many are still trying but I've got nowhere else to go Sad

Thanks bobian that's a good tip will jot it down x

Bobian123 · 29/10/2014 20:04

59 i salute you! You are a stronger woman than me. I have now run out of IC's but have just ordered another batch

Crystal I think sometimes CM can be a bit different early on, but one thing I've learnt is that when you're actively TTC, you do start noticing stuff you might not have before! However, that's not to dash any hopes - plenty of ppl fall preg on the first go! I think most noticeable symptoms would begin after implantation (5-10 days dpo? ish?)

Maybe just jot down symptoms day by day - it's useful if you don't fall preg this month to be able to look back at what your body has been doing.

FX!!

Crystal049 · 29/10/2014 19:05

Hi guys, do you think it's possible to notice symptoms 3/4 days after ovulation? I swear my mind is playing tricks on me! I'm only on cycle 1 and 3dpo today but strange transparent cervical mucus (tmi) and stomach feels odd, plus lots of wind. Could just be me though lol!

Gillian1980 · 29/10/2014 17:28

Yes, I think if you want to have tests about fertility etc then they make you wait a year generally.

I'm only having a blood test to see whether I'm pregnant so they don't make you wait for that.

alien11 · 29/10/2014 16:34

Fingers crossed Gillian1980
According to OVia I'm on cd19 and I've checked and my clearblue positive was 10 days ago. But haven't dtd nearly enough around ov time ( if I actually ovulated!)

Am I right that it is a year before going to gp?

Gillian1980 · 29/10/2014 15:56

Now 2 weeks late and no AF and only the faintest possible line on frer which hasn't got any darker. So I'm off to the gp for a blood test tomorrow to see what's what... Fingers crossed!

59sound · 29/10/2014 15:07

Thanks Bobian! I was unusually restrained on my way home and didn't go in either of the two chemists that I passed to buy a test - it's chucking it down with rain as well so no chance of me going out again. I'm sure I will crack tomorrow though or AF will come and get me. Grr...

emarie73 · 29/10/2014 13:59

Hi all.
Haven't been online while AF was here so need to catchup with the thread
Will be bk to ttc tomorrow. Fx'd we all get bfp's
Bit sad I have to let the people I told I might be that I'm not.

Marie x

Bobian123 · 29/10/2014 12:38

welcome back 59! Well I'm the last person to ask as I start POAS at 9 dpo (for all the good it does me!) So i would say, if your cycles are 30 days and you're on 28....test Wink

59sound · 29/10/2014 09:56

Hi everyone, just been catching up on the thread - I posted a few weeks ago and then something weird happened with the 'Threads I'm On' link and I lost track. Hope everyone is doing ok and congrats to Mooley and others on their bfps! Smile

I'm currently on cd28 - last two cycles have been 30 days. Have been feeling really nauseous on and off for the last three days and have lost my appetite but not sure whether it's because I've also got a rotten cold. Should I POAS or wait it out for another few days? Help!

alien11 · 28/10/2014 22:04

Took 6 months for me for dd. But I knew then I had low amh levels ( egg quality/quantity) so really doubt I'll conceive again as it's going against the odds as older I get lower amh is.

Sleepingbunnies · 28/10/2014 19:11

Just fed up. Am thinking a large glass of wine willake me feel better :)

ScaryMartian · 28/10/2014 18:37

Cycle number 4 for me too. Only took 2 months with DS so am having to try to keep things in perspective and not immediately think something is wrong. We were just lucky last time I guess.

So sorry about AF bunnies . I took it really hard last cycle too. Ttc really is shit and it's so hard not to get down about it all. I hope the sadness doesn't last and you can get ready for the next cycle. In the meantime be kind to yourself. Wine Flowers

Welcome crystal and ma .

Ma I did see the thread you got your bfp on. So sorry it was a chemical Sad. Lovely to have you here though- hopefully it won't be a long stay.

If you're still knocking around candy and mooley I hope you're both well.

Well- I think I'm gearing up to ov. Dh and I are on it like a car bonnet tonight! Grin

alien11 · 28/10/2014 13:30

I'll be on cycle 4 soon sleepingbunnies and I feel the same. Everyone around me gets pregnant first month of trying. It's utter crap

Sleepingbunnies · 28/10/2014 10:17

It's crap. Chance of conceiving drop even further when DP works every night until 1030 :(

Bobian123 · 28/10/2014 09:06

So so sorry bunnies. It's incredibly difficult as you get your hopes up during the bloody 2ww only for them to be crushed. You will be OK though - promise. It's another cycle, another chance. Sending you hugs and Flowers

Welcome crystal of course you can join! Hope your cold clears up soon. V exciting that both you and ma are ttc #1! I'm on #2, which is still exciting but I think there's something particularly lovely and exciting about trying for the first.

I'm feeling a bit rubbish also because one minute I think this is the month then another, I'm convinced it's not. If only I could take the relaxed approach and just DTD three times a week throughout rather than track what my body's up to all the time. Gah.

Sleepingbunnies · 28/10/2014 08:29

This was month 5 :(

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 28/10/2014 07:29

Oh bunnies so sorry to hear that. How long have you been trying?
