Another 2ww thread!!!!!

Hi everyone. I'm about to embark on another 2ww (ovulating today) and wondered if there was anyone else out there in the same position who wanted to come along for the ride!

Only cycle 2 TTC #2 but took 13 months last time so crossing everything!!

I see it to scary that's not faint it's bold! Do another timmrow toes are crossed for you. Brown blood is old blood. Could be old implantation or ov blood! I did I had 3!.I.wish I had the will power over cake haha

Test again in morning with either another and get a digi I always use a digi as I like seeing the words and much better than trying to decipher lines.

I feel a bit ill. Not sure if I'm just dehydrated but feel a bit faint and icky. Hope I'm not coming back down with that bg I had.

Hi all. Warning- epic me me me post!

So my body is just being bonkers. My 'AF' stopped yesterday afternoon and apart from 2 occasions when I had some red bleeding (when I thought af had def arrived) it has mostly been brown discharge which has now slowed to just a little pale brown when I wipe.

I am now 14dpo and my temps are still high. I have just got back from being away so naturally caved and bought a hpt (shitty sainsburys cheapy). I have just done it with the most dilute urine ever and think I can see a shadow of a line. Visible to the naked eye (!) but difficult to see on camera. Of course it could be an evap but it showed within the time.

I don't want to get my hopes up as getting AF cramps and there's still time for her to return properly plus with the bleeding I've had it could be a chemical or a non sticky bean.

I don't really know why I'm posting- just wanted to share as don't know what the hell is going on.

Time will tell I suppose.

Hi ladies, hope you don't mind me joining? I'm apparently in the 2ww now according to Ovia but I really feel like if I get a BFP it will be a miracle. This is our first month of TTC for #1. I was a bit daft and ran 2 packs together, had a period, then stopped after 8 days of week 3 so god knows what's going on down there.
Ovia said it thought I was fertile, and I had the EWCM and all that good stuff lol. Sort of don't want to test in case I get the BFN as i'll be heart broken.
Can't believe it's this complicated getting pregnant. I've literally spent years trying not to get pregnant and pannicking at the slightest thing. I hate how doctors made it sound so easy too!
I'm due to do a test on 02/10, but I am going to leave it until the 4th which is a saturday. In the meantime, best of luck ladies xx

Boo for the BFN Mooley but hope you have a good time with your mum. Maybe it's still too early and you'll get some good news over the weekend? Fx for you.

I am only 2 dpo today so have a long way to go! Woke up feeling sick this morning but think it is my mind playing tricks on me. Roll on 1st October!

Morning ladies. So......Scotland have voted No!! i am really pleased that they have decided to stay with us. Really did not want them to leave. It might sound a bit cheesy but i definitely think we are better together

Whit did you have a drink last night? Can't believe you haven't touched a drop for 2 years. Well done you. Wish i could have that sort of will power.

I didn't bother having a drink in the end, or watching the results come in. Was absolutely shattered and was in bed for 9. 13 dpo today and tested with an FRER and BFN (albeit about 3rd morning urine and very dilute). I only tested because my temp shot back up following a 2 day dip, but I am not hopeful. Was hoping to have had a BFP by now, as my mum is coming up to visit tonight and I wanted to give her some good news (as a family we've had a very rough year). Hey ho, was not to be. If i was preggers I think by now it would have shown positive so going to wait until Monday when AF should arrive and see what happens.

How is everyone else doing? Are there any other testers left or are we virtually all out (apart from 59sound but I think you are pretty early in the 2ww)?

Next month WILL be our month i can feel it in me bones :) I am with you in the not Peeing on any Sticks until either really close to AF or when AF is missing in action!!

Scary we use preseed all the time, helped me conceive DD I am sure of it (together with the clomid which actually helped me ovulate!). I get mine from Amazon, think it's about 16, not cheap, but then nothing about this TTC malarkey is. I too have spent a ridiculous amount this cycle on pee sticks and where has it got me??? Early testing and a string of BFNs.

I also get my OPKs from Amazon, scary i think we must get the same ones. Last ones I bought came with 10 free HPTs as well. I have bought in bulk in the past - i think one month i had a stockpile of 25 ICs, 4 FRERs and 2 Digis (I was not pg) Blush

I've calmed down a bit since this morning; think I am more resigned to the fact that AF will show on Monday and theres nothing I can do about it so trying to prepare myself for a nice shiny new cycle where we all get sticky eggs :)

Getting the Wine in tonight and going to watch some of the referendum results coming in.

Welcome 59sound fingers crossed for you in the 2ww; we will be here no doubt to gaze at your pee stick pictures and offer advice on your symptoms :)

Not sure about preseed as have never used it but there are a few places online when I found earlier.

I get my opks from amazon, £3.45 for 20 and free postage. They work perfectly fine and were confirmed by my temps too. Also cos they are so cheap I get to feed my POAS addiction a bit. When I was ttc no1 I used to buy 20 pregnancy tests too which was so dangerous as I was POAS more often than not!!

I think I'm going to try preseed as heard good things (want to give the swimmers a helping hand!) and def relax a bit more. I second the diet thing too. I've been eating really badly over the last few weeks too and it certainly won't hurt to eat more veg!

I'm still going to temp and use cheap opks as I like to know what's going on but I'm def not going to buy any hpts in again until I think AF is late. I quite liked not having the anxiety and heartache of staring at a stark white bfn this month. Also saves lots of money (does this mean that I am officially on the POAS wagon?!)

Bring it on next month, let's do this!! Smile

scarymartian it WILL be our month next month!! What are you going to do differently? I think I am going to relax a little. Not going to use an ovulation kit and not going to POAS until AF is due. I've wasted like £50 this month and it's only cycle 1!!!

I am also going to eat better and get DH onto vitamin supplements. It's probably a good thing I didn't get pregnant this month ... I was binge eating all the wrong foods .. Think I had at least 3 rare steaks , sheds loads of cheese and tonnes of pate! Maybe my body thought that it's safer not to let me get pregnant this month Blush

Hello 59sound. Just get stuck into the wine I say. I think I would have kicked myself if I'd have abstained the last two weeks as it would all have been for nothing. (Not saying that would be the case for you - fx for your bfp Smile )

I think.I'm on a wtf cycle cramping gone.Sept for small twibges n killer back ache! Not like me at all usually crippled by this point. I'd rather.shed come to.start.of a nee.beginning rather than limbo land

Scary I know you are completely right and I have heard loads of women don't struggle the second time around. I have PCOS and although my charts indicate I am in fact ov'ing, like you I can't quite comprehend how, when we had sex the day of ov and the 2 days before ov, we did not catch that egg. I had lovely dark lines on my OPKs and ov pain and everything this month and still nothing, nada. With a 15 day LP i still have a few days, but i think I know in my heart that we did not do it this month.

Lets hope we can all catch that eggy next month, this is the only place that I can rant because although DH is very understanding, he doesn't really get it all and would rather just be informed of a pg or not than all the stuff that goes with it, so you lovely lot are the only people I have to talk to!!

Candy so sorry for the BFN. It truly does suck. With the % of conceiving each month being so low it's a wonder how the human race has survived!!

Oh mooley, sorry to hear you are feeling so down. If AF does appear it doesn't mean that because it took over a year last time it will be the same this time. Lots of people I know struggled with their first but got pg relatively quickly with their second.

Candy- I know what you mean about that little glimmer of hope. AF arrived properly for me last night and it was almost a relief, I wasn't as upset as I thought I would be. The uncertainty was killing me and I've been so moody! At least now I can plan for next month.

This whole ttc business is such an emotional roller coaster. The last couple of days have been so emotionally draining. I was so upset and angry with my body when the brown spotting started. I just can't understand how we could have dtd every day on the run up and including the day of Ov and still not be pg! Ttc is such a mindf*ck!

I'm still holding out hope for you mooley and candy.

Will be hanging around and looking forward to seeing those whom AF got on the next tww!
