Hi everyone. I'm about to embark on another 2ww (ovulating today) and wondered if there was anyone else out there in the same position who wanted to come along for the ride!

Only cycle 2 TTC #2 but took 13 months last time so crossing everything!!

Thanks Mooley. Could be worth a shot but feeling v pre-AF like today. At least it was 2 for 1 on tests so I have one in hand!

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 24/11/2014 12:22

Booooo to BFN 59 but it's still early days!! Maybe wait a couple of days and test again.

59sound · 24/11/2014 12:10

BFN. Boo Sad.

Going to make myself a hot cup of Brew and allow myself a mini wallow. In some ways it feels better to know now though.

It took 4 months with DD so hopefully December will be our month!

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 24/11/2014 11:05

Oooooo 59 exciting times!! When will you test?

OP posts:
59sound · 24/11/2014 09:40

Nothing - yet! Have just bought 2 for 1 FRERs in Boots though!

otter32 · 24/11/2014 08:05

What did you do 59?!

59sound · 23/11/2014 13:07

Thanks otter. CD25 today (got my dates mixed up) and debating whether to test and when. Normally a 28-30 day cycle (last month 29). Know I will be disappointed if BFN but at least I wouldn't have false hope. Argh, what to do?!

otter32 · 21/11/2014 22:49

Ah scary the dreams! They were driving me mad!

59 my fingers and toes are crossed for you! You never know when it will be your time. I chart bbt as well as using the CBAFM.

Think I'll try and see my GP next week to sort things out.

Wow, first Friday in a long time that I haven't had some wine! It's (hopefully) going to be a loooong 9 months!

ScaryMartian · 21/11/2014 19:31

Also, otter I mentioned in my disappearing post yesterday that my biggest symptom was bfp dreams! That's how I was so sure this was your cycle too. Gotta love those hormones. Smile

ScaryMartian · 21/11/2014 19:29

Would love to hear how you are alien if you are still around.

ScaryMartian · 21/11/2014 19:28

Ahhhhhhh otter !! I knew it! I just knew it would be your cycle too. I'm so pleased for you!

I wrote out a whole post yesterday posted it and now I see it's not here... Grrr mobile app.

Glad to hear that you are well Bobian . Hopefully the waves of nausea will stay just that.

mooley I can't believe you are over 8 weeks already! That 12 week scan will be here before you know it.

59 3 times over your fertile period is def enough. Once is really all it takes. With DS I only dtd twice and it seems so did otter this time so you are def still in the running. I will be rooting for you!

I did a cb digi yesterday- showed 2-3 weeks. I'm thinking that I prob ov'd in the week before I thought I did. I'm going to stop trying to be clever and just go by my LMP which puts me at 5 weeks today. The dating scan (fx i get there) will sort out any discrepancys in dates!

Phoned my surgery and they said I need to contact my midwife sooner rather later to get my 8 week booking in appt so will do that Monday.

Apart from immensely sore boobs and the beginnings of tiredness I feel ok so far.

59sound · 21/11/2014 17:36

*to me (stupid auto correct!)

59sound · 21/11/2014 17:34

Yay otter! And thanks for your previous comment. Going to keep on at it! And invest in a CBAFM - you've totally sold it on me! In the meantime, keep your fingers crossed for me. CD21 today.

otter32 · 21/11/2014 17:00

FRER done. Says the same yippee.

To everyone still trying, keep on riding! It could happen anytime. We only dtd twice this month. And I can't recommend the Clearblue Advanced Fertility Monitor enough. It's not cheap, but it takes the guesswork out of whether there's a line on opks and pregnancy tests it would seem! And I'm not a fan of the Internet cheapies. Too easy to get obsessed. No indication of a line yesterday. Oh and we used balanceactiv lubricant. Cos you know, I wasn't always up for it, I just wanted the end product!

My symptoms prob kicked in about 6 weeks. Like Bobian I'm not being sick just constant waves of nausea and occasional retching!! Here We call the hospital (or do it online) and I had my booking in appointment at 7+4. Just had my flu jab today and scan booked for 11th Dec!! Can't wait to see twiglet. Until that point it's just not real at all.

Glad I'm not the only one who was a POAS lunatic!!

Bobian123 · 21/11/2014 13:52

I saw the doc last week just to get on the register with the midwife/hospital. So I was 5 weeks and have got my booking in appt at 8 weeks.

I'm getting waves of nausea but no actual sickness and constipation (sorry tmi!)

Wishing huge luck to everyone still waiting x

otter32 · 21/11/2014 13:35

moo I think I'll be the same as you. When did your pregnant symptoms start? I kind of feel like I need some! I'm still a bit crampy to keep expecting AF to start.

Thanks 59. I know how hard it is to see other people have this happen when you're still waiting. You're happy for them but jealous too. So I appreciate it. Keep going. It will happen!

bobian how are you getting on? Any symptoms?

When are you supposed to tell the doc?!

Bobian123 · 21/11/2014 12:50

Otter that's brilliant news!! Hoorah!! Massive congrats.

Mooley how funny, i'm 6 weeks and also very recently POAS Blush. I just wanted to double triple check!

59sound · 21/11/2014 11:52

Congratulations otter!! Woo hoo! Amazing news Grin

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 21/11/2014 10:27

Oh thats fab news. I still can't relax until i get that dating scan under my belt, only 3 weeks to go!! until then it just doesn't seem real and like you i keep expecting something to go wrong, despite the fact i've not had a period since 21st September!! I keep thinking, what else could make a test positve and make AF disappear. Then i tell myself to get a grip and enjoy not being sick all day like last time.

I'm currently 8+5 so still really early days.

Congrats again!! So exciting :)

I actually phone clearblue to ask if it could be wrong. She asked if there were two lines on the stick, I said yes, she said that's a positive result. You're pregnant!!

Moo I think I'll be the same. I can't quite believe it. I can feel cramping but I guess my womb is doing stuff. I'm still waiting for my period to start. Swinging from elation to pessimism and not expecting it to stick. Think I need to relax!

How far gone are you now?

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 21/11/2014 09:04

You have more will power than me. I would be cracking open that FRER to make sure that there were two lines on it (have never used the CBAFM so have no idea how accurate they are, but i assume they must be pretty spot on and can only say that you are pg if you are producing hCG).

I will be honest, up until a couple of weeks ago i was still peeing on sticks Blush i have stopped now because i have read that after 8 weeks the hormone starts to calm down a bit.

I am still feeling a bit icky. Have terrible wind Blush, constipation and sickness that comes and goes. Eating seems to help so by the time twiglet is born i will actually be the size of a house!!!! Grin

OP posts:
otter32 · 21/11/2014 07:50

It made me laugh this morning cos I wasn't going ooo is there a line, isn't there a line?!

I did an ic last night and it showed nothing. I have frer's in, so I might do one in the morning. Def 2 lines on the stick you put in the CBAFM though.

I can see me using every test I have in the house over the coming days though!

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 21/11/2014 07:45

Otter OMG!!!! Wow!! Seems pretty conclusive to me. Have you got any tests in? If take one just in case but the massive PREGNANT kinda says it all for me Grin massive congrats so bloody pleased for you (and thanks for the pic!!! Love a good pic!)

OP posts:
otter32 · 21/11/2014 06:46

This what I see on the CBAFM. Kind of takes the guess work out! But now in starting to think it's wrong....
