Another 2ww thread!!!!!

Hi everyone. I'm about to embark on another 2ww (ovulating today) and wondered if there was anyone else out there in the same position who wanted to come along for the ride!

Only cycle 2 TTC #2 but took 13 months last time so crossing everything!!

Mooley not totally sure what my LP is. If it doesn't happen this month I'll track things better next month! Never temped before either - would you say it's useful/worth it? I do indeed normally cramp before AF so thinking it's that. Not long now and I'll find out for sure, so we can crack on with next month! x

Candy every other cycle my OPKs have been that dark, just can't make any sense out of them. Like you said I'm just going to keep DTD until I'm certain that I'm no longer fertile. Bloody confusing though. My last 2 temps have been super high and I'm worried that it's because of having a little drinky and I may have actually missed the temp drop!! Just have to wait and see.

bobian cramps at 11dpo could be implantation!! What's your LP? Do you normally cramp before AF? sorry for the BFN but 10dpo is still early.

view your will power is impressive. Hope the witch stays away.

AF due tomorrow or Monday. I stared at the test kits in super drug today and bought frolic acid instead!* I have AF style cramps but I've had them for most of the week which is unusual for me. I'm mentally preparing myself for AF but easier said than done ... Met a friend for lunch today and she bought clothes for her one year old, me feeling very resigned to it not happening for us for a while. ESP as blood test came back with a progesterone result which too much googling says is a tiny bit too low for supporting implantation. Yah boo sucks and all that. Wine is needed.
*heh heh from now on in this house it shall be known as frolic acid. Genuine typo.

Hi guys. Mooley yep and nada. I also have felt a few AF like cramps today so really think I'm out. Will keep you posted though, and will be checking in to see how you all get on! candy welcome to hell the TWW! Smile. See how long you can hold off POAS....! Loving the positive thinking.

Mooley that look pretty strong to me!

Can you ladies remind me of where you're at? i.e. - for me, this is ttc no 2, cycle 2. Have a 1 yr old DS x

Not an expert on it but this was my positive . I didn't have any line day before or after this . I would assume it is and just carry on DTD . Are you sticking with EOD ? If so then just carry on

I tested this morning and it looks kinda positive so like you said just going to keep DTD until all signs indicate ov has passed. I'll test again in a bit and see what happens. Trying to hold my wee for as long as possible. We are scheduled some more sexy time tomorrow! Hard work this TTC malarkey Smile

I just bought it .... I said that I wouldn't buy any until nearer the end of TWW but now it's going to be mentally torturing me as it sits in my bathroom cupboard Confused

I am now officially in my TWW.

mooley good job last night... I know what you mean though. I have to say, the preseed stuff is amazing , without it and don't think we could have done it so often!Grin. Have you had a +be in OPK yet? I think the best thing to do is DTD regardless. Some ppl miss it the surge without detecting it but doesn't mean they haven't ovulated .

I am feeling positive about this month! So FXed!!!

We DTD tonight after deciding that having one child affects your stamina in both drinking and staying up late. 10:10pm is very late for us. Thankfully we managed to DTD befor it got too late.

candy you have def covered your bases - you go girl Grin I think tonight should be enough to be honest especially as you have already ov'd.

Bobian it's so hard not testing! With my last I just knew I was pg and tested positive at 8dpo (very faint line in pm) and had a positive digi at 9dpo. So as you said, 10dpo is very possible to get a pos especially if you implanted early. Ooooo fx'd Smile

I did 2 OPKs and both were very negative so not sure what's going on but DTD tonight regardless. Still got EWCM so have to wait and see what my temps do, although we are going out tonight and alcohol can have an adverse affect on BBT!!! Hmm ack well not often we are without DD so going to make the most of it!

candypop I reckon you've safely covered all bases!! I agree it's very difficult to think about other things.

I'm due on or around the 9th (usually am like clockwork but only came off the pill recently and am a little out of sync. Last night, I had twinges low down on the right (which i was convinced was implantation last month but obv wasn't!) and sore boobs. With my first, I had a noticeable lack of sore boobs but I know every preg is different. Holding out POAS today - very proud of myself! Waiting til tomorrow when I'll be 10dpo, although I know that's also v early (didn't show up at 10/11dpo last time!)

Hopefully one of us at least will get that lovely BFP this month!

Morning ladies!

Just wanted to say.... This is so hard!!, it is all so consuming and it's all I think about ... As you can tell, I'm pretty much a planner and this is one thing you cannot control.

I've heard that stress hormones can affect TTC but I can't help but feel a little stress!

Anyways back to micro analysis...... CD15 so couple days from the TWW, no more period like cramps so definitely have ovulated. DTD last night ... Another tonight .... Not sure if we're gonna be able to do it tomorrow but I think we have good coverage! So DTD CD9, CD11,CD12, CD13 (positive OPK and cramps) , CD14 and will have CD15. What do you think? (sorry way too much info here but it makes me feel better when I write it down! )

bobian pre-Af symptoms are very much like pregnancy symptoms so you can never tell! When are you due?

Interesting scary - if it doesn't work out this month I'll be chowing down on the grapefruit next month!

I felt a bit pre-AF last night so not hopeful. But, not over til she shows I guess!

Thanks scary I'm going to count today's as a positive I think; I can always change it on FF if tomorrow's is negative. I normally get 2 days of positives so it should be much clearer tomorrow.

You may find that the line looks darker tomorrow mooley. Last month my IC opk looked exactly like that the first day, super positive the next, then lighter again the following day. It def looks promising though and eod will ensure plenty of sperm ready to meet the egg when it does pop!

Bobian, I have read that oil of evening primrose capsules increase ewcm. Something in citrus juices (enzymes?), particularly grapefruit break down the protein in mucus which makes it more runny... apparently. Got to love a bit of science on a Thursday evening.

Hey there Scary wondered where you had gotten to! I second what bobian says that if you are getting that much EWCM then ov is just around the corner. My strategy this month is to just keep bonking until I'm certain I'm no longer ov'ing! I know what you mean about tiring DH out though, I get a little bit bored by it all too and then sex becomes more of a chore and less enjoyable. I'm planning the EOD route so that DHs swimmers have time to regenerate.

I tested again and it still doesn't look all that positive. Will wait and see what my temp does in the morning and test again about 10:30ish. Think I'm definitely going to ov a little earlier than last month though going off other bodily signs!

Welcome back scary! I would have thought that you haven't missed ov if you've got lots of ewcm. Interested in what you mean by the grapefruit and oil of eve primrose helping?? I've not heard of that before x

Thank god you clarified bobian, I was very impressed/intimidated/horrified by your stamina.

I think I'm going to ov in the next few days. Getting lots of ewcm (incidentally grapefruit juice and oil of evening primrose have helped loads in this department). No +ve opk tho. I hate this bit, don't want to tire dh out and waste a dtd but also don't want to miss the window if I suddenly ov!

My temps are also high- still above last months coverline (apart from one day) but I think that may be because I have a cold. (Please please don't let it be that I've ov'd early, that would be really shitty).

Mooley yes I would say that's positive/almost there. It's very nearly as intense as the control line so go for it Wink. Just keep an eye on it - if that test is from today, maybe do another this eve to see if it increases in intensity?

This is serious business! If we don't catch that eggy this month.... Ooohhhh id be very annoyed! I deserve a medal for the effort I've put in !
