Hi mooley,
Had last depo injection Dec last year, gp seems to think that after 3 regular cycles I should be ovulating. Also had a operative laproscopy about 6 weeks ago to remove endometriosis. Want to start tracking ov, but need af to arrive or hopefully wont have to bother if I get a bfp Smile .

How long since my last af should I wait to see my gp if this af doesn't turn up?

Fingers crossed candypop x

feeling super fatigued today, and was really nauseous this am.

candypop · 09/10/2014 12:36

Welcome crafty, this is a lucky thread! We had quite a few BFP last months so hoping for the same this month.

Sooooo confession time .... I .... POAS.... It's only DPO7 and it wasn't even with FMU Blush .... SOOOO my excuse is, they are not proper pee sticks , they came free with the preseed stuff so it doesn't really count ??

On other news... I have no news.... I have no symptoms Sad

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 09/10/2014 05:53

crafty have you come off birth control? If so it can take a while for your body to get back to normal, despite having reg periods. Do you chart ov? Only way to prepare for it is with OPKs or tracking your BBT, checking cm etc. your periods do sound pretty regular (with a blip in Sept). All you can do is wait it out I'm afraid, I know it's frustrating.

Well I don't think I'm ov'ing at all now. Still no significant temp rise and I'm getting concerned that this is going to be an anovulatory cycle which is most annoying. I know they can happen but having PCOS means I'm not the most regular. In fact since having DD i did seem to be ov'ing every month and I kniw know anovulatory cycles can happen just frustrating - sorry for rant.

bobian hope you enjoyed bake off and Smile at forgetting the wine!!

scary how's your chart looking?

Hi all,
I'm new to ttc and driving myself crazy! Started ttc middle of sept and have erratic periods. No idea when af is due so no idea when to test really. 2 bfn one two weeks ago and one today. Week before 4th September had normal period then on 4th bled lightly for 2 days (before we started trying) and 3 periods before that were normal 28day. Seem to have every symptom in the early pregnancy book, but is it all in my head? Either want af or bfp to arrive. Dont feel like af is coming any time soon.

Bobian123 · 08/10/2014 21:39

Thanks ladies! I got carried away with the Bake Off and forgot to have my wine. Tomorrow, I shall have double Wink

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 08/10/2014 20:09

Bobian sorry the hag whore found you but glad you are feeling positive Smile have some Wine and Cake Grin

candypop · 08/10/2014 19:52

Sorry to hear bobian. Rest a little then full steam ahead for the next cycle x

Bobian123 · 08/10/2014 17:36

Thanks scary Smile Wine

ScaryMartian · 08/10/2014 16:24

Ahh crap, sorry about AF Bobian. Glad you're feeling ok though. I can understand where you're coming from, at least the speculation is over when you have a definate no so you can move on and plan for next time.

Good luck for next cycle, enjoy that wine!

Bobian123 · 08/10/2014 16:13

....and she's here! I'm actually feeling relieved and pretty upbeat about this month - even feeling happy she's here one day early as it means one day earlier to start trying again Smile. What a weirdo.

I will definitely be popping back in to check on how you ladies are doing. Bring on the BFPs! xx

ScaryMartian · 08/10/2014 13:55

Candy, that is so lovely. I often think that way but you have described it so much more eloquently than I could.

Bobian- crack open that wine! Sorry about the bfn. It's not over though until the witch arrives.

Mooley- thanks for the help with the chart, I think I o'd on Monday too. Will take a look at that link now and see if it tidies things up a bit!

I'm officially putting myself in the tww, I'm 2dpo, screw the temps, all the other signs were/are there!

Bobian123 · 08/10/2014 12:18

ah candy that really is a lovely thought! I'm actually feeling quite positive about next cycle - bring it on! And i've just remembered I do have half a bottle of wine in the fridge! Every cloud....

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 08/10/2014 10:00

Rushing into a meeting but just wanted to say candy that's such a lovely thought. I'm gonna remember that cos I love my DD with every ounce of my being Smile

OP posts:
candypop · 08/10/2014 09:40

Also testing a day before is pretty impressive ! If I can last that long id be super chuffed with myself.

Just don't want to go through what I did last month... Testing so early and when i got a negative I wrote it off as being too soon. It's depressing seeing so many bfn. So I know waiting to the end is the best way to do it. Just need to stay strong.

Going all philosophical now.... What will be will be. I often think , what if a different sperm fertilised the egg ... I would have a different DC1... No doubt I would love it the same as my DD now but it wouldn't be her and how sad a thought knowing now what i'd be missing .... I wouldn't wanted to have conceived any earlier/later than I did. Whenever the next little bean sticks it's because it's meant to be ....it's our destiny with that particular child. So don't fret guys.... Everyday we are getting closer to making it happen and closer to meeting that particular special little person in our lives Smile x

candypop · 08/10/2014 09:32

:( ah that sucks bobian have a Wine with plenty of Cake and then some more Wine. Next month is a new month Smile

Bobian123 · 08/10/2014 09:07

I'm afraid I don't know much about temping, but am impressed nevertheless by those charts!!

I should be out of my misery tomorrow when AF arrives. I tested this morning (sorry, i know I said I would wait for AF!) and nothing, so I must be out this month. Just want her to arrive so we can get on with next month!

x

candypop · 08/10/2014 08:29

Morning ! Yes I was good. It would have been pointless anyway as it's a waitrose cheapy so not the most sensitive. DPO6 today.... I'm aiming to the end!! If I was to test on DPO10/11 I would have to get a more sensitive one and considering how much a spent last month and I am going to try even it out Grin. defo need you guys to keep me on the wagon though!

Scary I don't have a clue about temping but sounds like we are made extra effort this month so fx for a sticky bean!!!

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 08/10/2014 08:26

right that link didn't work......try this instead. Then on the left hand side there should be a basal body temperature adjuster option.

OP posts:
MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 08/10/2014 08:25

Looking at that scary i'd say that you ov'd Monday. When i temp early i always use this to adjust my temp so that i have a clear picture (i do it throughout my cycle to ensure consistency!). Used it when i conceived DD as well; for me it just makes my chart look a little bit prettier and with the additional temp for Tuesday it might make your pattern a little clearer. Worth a go, if you are not happy with it then you can always revert back to the original.

Fx'd that link works - it's been a long time since i posted a link!!!

OP posts:
ScaryMartian · 08/10/2014 08:02

Oops, didn't want to add that pic as you can't see the temperatures. Here's another a little clearer. Let me know what you think.

Another 2ww thread!!!!!
ScaryMartian · 08/10/2014 07:59

Morning everyone!

Bobian any news?

Candy, we may have to see evidence of a sealed hpt! Smile

Mooley, I'm glad you had a thermal shift even if it is tentative. Could be a slow rise this cycle.

No real shift for me. Here's a pic of my chart so far. My temps have been all over the place this month. Apart from one day on cd7 where they dropped they have not gone below last months cover line. I thinks that's because I've had a cold which lasted a week between cd9 and cd 15.

I think I am just going to stop temping this month and let whatever happens happen. It's too stressful otherwise. I've been manically testing my thermometer to see if the readings change when it starts off warm or cold. They do, but I'm just driving myself mad with speculation. I need to just chill out.

Another 2ww thread!!!!!
MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 08/10/2014 07:06

scary did you get a thermal shift? I had a shift of sorts but nothing significant so not convinced I've ov'd! Although had an horrendous night with DD so could be due to that. Will hopefully know more when I check CM later.

candy step away from the tests. And Google Smile hope you managed not to test!!!!

Bobian any signs of the witch? Are you going to wait to see if she arrives or test before?

I've decided I am tentatively in the 2ww. 1dpo today Hmm

OP posts:
Bobian123 · 07/10/2014 21:02

candy that's hilarious - I too start googling things like "5 dpo symptoms" every day, pretty much from day 1 EVEN THOUGH it's the same every time I look. WHy is it so difficult to distract ourselves. Go on though, hold out for as long as you possibly can! I would say til at least 10 dpo (sorry mooley, I'm weaker!!

candypop · 07/10/2014 20:31

I needed that! You might have to post something similar for the next 6 days! Blush

ScaryMartian · 07/10/2014 20:29

Candy- STEP AWAY FROM THE TESTS! Angry

My plan may have backfired, dh is now complaining of feeling tired and full. I think he may be on to me.
