Hi everyone. I'm about to embark on another 2ww (ovulating today) and wondered if there was anyone else out there in the same position who wanted to come along for the ride!

Only cycle 2 TTC #2 but took 13 months last time so crossing everything!!

Haha, thanks for that guys!! I'll def take the cake mooley.

I think it's going to have to be a deal candy, just for my sanity! Smile

Might buy a first response on the way home from work and do it thurs when I'm 10dpo. That's if spotting hasn't started by then. It's usually due around this time.

Gillian, there's still time, lots of people don't get their BFPs until AF is due or way after.

Crafty- you're not far wrong, I'm feeling so bonkers about it all that I may resort to peeing on anything stick like! Good to hear you're sounding positive about next cycle. Your dh is going to be in his element!

Gillian1980 · 14/10/2014 20:06

Great that you ov'd mooley... Fingers crossed that you have a positive result :)

Gillian1980 · 14/10/2014 20:02

I'm not really sure, maybe 9 or 10 days? It's my first cycle so still learning all the signs etc.
AF due thurs if on time but timings are all uncertain at the moment.

Feeling all kinds of weird but it could all be in my head haha.

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 14/10/2014 19:54

scary sounds bloody exciting to me. I would try and hold out for a couple of days if you can but I obviously want a line picture that I can look over as I too am obsessed with looking at pee sticks, even if they aren't mine!! Love a good line thread as well Grin I tested positive at 8dpo with DD, was very faint. Positive digi at 9dpo so very very possible! Keeping everything crossed for you!!

stow sorry for mc and for AF Flowers

crafty sorry the witch found you too. But glad you seem positive for this cycle. It will happen!

Gillian sorry about the bfn. What dpo are you now?

Left booby is really fecking sore although I'm sure it was last month too so not reading into at all Shock

Another negative this morning... I reckon I'll be testing every morning until AF arrives! I can't help myself!

StowFrenchy · 14/10/2014 18:55

scary that sounds exactly like me, so hard not to obsess! Wink x

craftyclev · 14/10/2014 18:42

Scary,
reading your post made me invision a crazy lady peeing on sticks in the park!
Fingers crossed when you pee on the right kind of stick you get a big fat positive x

craftyclev · 14/10/2014 18:40

Yay Af finally here!
Didnt know when to expect it as hadnt been monitoring before, and this time had the longest cycle in the world. Was first cycle of ttc so wasnt really expecting a bfp. Was annoying tho that after 3months with monthly af, the first month of ttc I have a cycle of 50 odd days.
Means at least I can start again this month.
Already warned my dp that once af is over im going to jump him eod.
good luck everyone in the running still!
Downloaded an ovulation app so hopefully

candypop · 14/10/2014 18:28

A reserved 'eek' scary .... Ok let's do a deal with you.... If you hold off POAS tomorrow , you can POAS on thurs. That way you will be 10DPO and that's the same time as when you got you BFP with your first. No point wasting doing it tomorrow. Deal or no deal??!! Grin

ScaryMartian · 14/10/2014 18:17

Hi Stow- sorry to hear of your miscarriages and that AF arrived. Good luck for starting afresh the next cycle. Thanks

Bobian - I would def start dtd now, it sounds like you are gearing up for ov.

Yay for ov Mooley, at least now you know. It sounds like you have covered yourself well this month even if you missed a couple of days at the weekend. There's every chance a few of the little swimmers were still hanging around!

Welcome to babybump. Never used a superdrug own but the first responses are v sensitive. I got a bfp with DS at 10dpo.

So....I'm now 8dpo and have a confession. I'm almost ashamed to write this. I have already peed on about 6 ic's since yesterday. Blush The reason is that I've had super sore boobs and I think I can see a shadow of a line. Visible to the naked eye but not photographable.

Why did I do it to myself? After last month I don't want any kind of false hope and now I've bloody gone and done it. There is no way that I'm going to be able to hold off from peeing on every stick I can get my hands on between now and when AF arrives.

Someone slap me.

StowFrenchy · 14/10/2014 17:26

Update - af just arrived so I guess I have my answer! November bus for me!
Smile

StowFrenchy · 14/10/2014 14:50

Hi all, I'm new on this forum and I recently started a thread about when I can start testing after a miscarriage. If anyone has a chance to take a look and let me know what they think I will be very grateful indeed! Baby dust to all xx

candypop · 14/10/2014 14:43

Just achy pains and I do feel bloated but not sure if it's because I know! Haven't done anymore tests, might just so one more over the weekend when AF is meant to be due then will phone the docs.

Bobian is a good idea to start DTD now. We literally DTD EOD from AF finished and then 4 days in a row during fertile period! My advice is that it's good to keep an eye on temp and use OPK but to keep all bases covered just regularly DTD... That way you defo won't miss the boat ??

Bobian123 · 14/10/2014 13:05

Thanks v much mooley. FF says my fertile period starts thursday, which will prob be about right if I'm gearing up to it. But I shall inform DH that we'll be beginning today Smile. Good luck to you this month x

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 14/10/2014 12:37

Bobian sounds pretty normal to me. Could be your body gearing itself up to ov. I'd dtd eod until your cm drys up. This cycle I has 6-7 days of EWCM, some of it was how you described yours at present so I'd say you are getting towards the fertile period. Remember ov is not a static thing. When your body is ready it's ready so jump DH as soon as you can Grin

Hi ladies, and welcome to newcomers!

TMI alert but I'm after a bit of help with regards to CM....

I know to look out for EWCM, but I'm on day 7 and it's not EW-like, but is definitely stretchy. It's kind of milky and stretchy (sorry!). In the last couple of cycles I haven't paid massively close attention to CM so maybe it does this every month. When we conceived DS1, I was 28 days cycle and ov'd on day 14, so assumed it would be the same this time round. Can anyone shed any light? Is this a normal part of the cycle or could I be close to ovulating?

Massive thanks! x

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 14/10/2014 09:06

Morning ladies, sorry no update from me yesterday just never got time.

candy how are you feeling? Have you taken any more tests?

Scary where are you up to now? Anything to suspect pg?

Welcome to those who are new and hello to everyone else

I have now definitely ov'd going off my CM, cervix and a high temp today. Not sure when I ov'd but I reckon it might have been Saturday. Not holding out much hope this month though as being away and forgetting my thermometer gave messed things up a bit. I have put some temps into FF for the days that I couldn't temp just to see what would happen. At least today's temp has confirmed I have ov'd it's just a case of when!

Gillian how are you doing? Any sign of the hag?

Gillian1980 · 13/10/2014 22:33

Thanks for the positive vibes ladies xx

Purplelilly · 13/10/2014 22:31

Going to keep my fingers crossed for you Gillian, as others have said it ain't over until AF is there! Keep positive.

Massive congratulations to you Candypop, I hope it all goes perfectly for you :)

candypop · 13/10/2014 21:15

Thanks everyone for the well wishes! FXed it sticks , still early days.

gillian it's not over until AF comes. Maybe still too early, wait a couple days and see!

hi babybump , I have a pretty text book cycle, I tested using a waitrose own brand (£4 for 2) on 10DPO and for my BFP... Used a First Response the day after to confirm so both worked. First response was done 6 days before my due date if that helps. I would give it a couple more days to give eggy a chance to implant first!

crafty when are you expecting AF?

I'm going to stuck around to see how everyone gets on... Rooting for you all!

BabyBump2B · 13/10/2014 14:08

Hi ladies - can I join you? I'm 6dpo with a 26 day cycle & I'm going mad! Had an unexpected pregnancy in feb which ended in miscarriage but made me want a 2nd (I already have a 5yo DD.) This is first month ttc. Dying to test. Is First Response the best to use early? I heard that Superdrug's test is good early too?

Gillian1980 · 13/10/2014 13:33

Not sure of the exact day I ovulated as all still new to me but using Ovia which says I should test in 3 days time. So yes, maybe tested too early.

Much as I would love a bfp, it's only the first cycle if TTC so I'm not really expecting it to happen so quickly.

Still, I'll keep my fingers crossed until AF appears...

ScaryMartian · 13/10/2014 13:22

Ah sorry for bfn Gillian. How many dpo are you? Maybe it's too early?
