Another 2ww thread!!!!!

Hi everyone. I'm about to embark on another 2ww (ovulating today) and wondered if there was anyone else out there in the same position who wanted to come along for the ride!

Only cycle 2 TTC #2 but took 13 months last time so crossing everything!!

I also just poas with a opk and got a line - not quite as dark so I know it doesn't count as a positive, but almost as dark so definitely something there!

could be I'm ovulating later than thought - first cycle so all over the place and I'm not 100% sure what I'm doing etc.

baffled!

Ok ok I think I'm actually losing it. In good old Mosley style I did go and POAOS. It looks almost positive. I know I'm def not ov'ing cos my CM is sticky and white; could this just he a weird surge? I was expecting it to be very faint!!

Well think i am about 5dpo and already getting twitchy to test I have no tests in the house, apart from a digi and I only ever use them to confirm upduffedness. I must confess to ordering 15 ICs, you know, just to have in Blush

I am quite tempted to POAOS!!! (that's pee on an ovulation stick Grin)

Babybump symptom spotting is a killer (lol at Sixth Sense!). I am a terror with peeing on sticks. Have whittled them right down so I have two, not twenty, sticks for the next go Smile. I'll be forced to save them.

Gillian did AF arrive?

Mooley good to know you ov'd. I think you might be right about dropping a few of the technical bits, sometimes it overcomplicates things for me! Although give me a couple months more and i'll be doing the lot, I'm sure.

I'm baaaaack! My bbt has been all over the place this month, but according to CBAFM I'm 4dpo. Not had much opportunity to dtd this month, only 2 goes during highs. My peak arrived when I was in Scotland hiking Ben Nevis for charity! Typical! You never know though, the magical Scottish air could have helped sperm meet egg! :-)

Won't be frantically poas like last time though! Def don't need that stress!

I'm 8dpo Mooley and the witch is due in 7. Yeah they've all been bfn's but kinda to be expected that early!

I tried for 13 months with dd but with a new bf now & his ex got pregnant quite quickly. Sounds stupid but I was dying to tell dd at xmas!

gin yes yes I see something very faint (me and scary have very well trained stick eyes!). Test with FMU. What DPO are you?

Scary sorry that the spotting started. Holding onto some hope for you though.

Babybump what DPO are you? I take it all tests have been BFN?!

Gillian cramping is common in early pg and some women do test late! Fx'd the hag whore stays away Smile

Well 4dpo (I think) and nothing of note! Not that id expect there to be. Not getting excited about it this month as I'm not very hopeful given the body shenanigans that occurred! Main thing is I did ov. Next month I might even drop the OPKs and go off body signs as the OPKs have thrown me this month. Bloody bad timing for being away with the inlaws though!!!

Gin I can't see a line either I'm afraid.

I'm driving myself mad. I can't stop bloody peeing on sticks. I know it's too early but every morning there I am using fmu!

My bf's away on business, the project I'm working on has just lost its funding so at the moment I have way too much time on my hands to symptom spot. I'm like that kid in The Sixth Sense but I see symptoms instead of dead people!

How are the rest of you holding up?

Hi all!

Gin, can't see the pic as on my phone but will have a good look when I'm home later.

Well after all that the brown spotting started in earnest for me today, like clockwork.

Got another faint line (couldn't resist!) with fmu, no darker and quite possibly a little lighter. Sad

Going to leave it now till AF. I knackered myself out past month with all the am I/aren't I shenanigans!

BabyBump- I'm by no means an expert but I think they say that implantation can occur from 6dpo onwards so given that hcg takes about 48 hrs (I think ) to show in your system I'd say you could test from 8dpo onwards.

Obviously the closer you can wait until your predicted period the better but it's obvious that I don't practice what I preach on that front!

Hehe, I knew your practiced eye would spot it mooley! Like me it seems yours has been honed by all those lovely 'can you see a line?' threads!

I will see if I can hold off tomorrow morning, see what tomorrow brings in the way of spotting and if nothing test with fmu and a first response on thurs.

Scary I'm like that too - I'd probably pee non them every couple of hours if it wasn't going to bankrupt me!

So technical question... I have a 26 day cycle so those tests that "give results up to 6 days before your period is due" would only be measuring me at say 7-9dpo so will I need to wait longer (i.e closer to my predicted period) to test than someone with a 30 day cycle? Did that make any sense?

Right. This is especially for you mooley! This is one I took this afternoon and the pic was taken shortly after.

Not really visible but I've seen enough BFNs in my time to know when there is a hint of something!
