Another 2ww thread!!!!!

Hi everyone. I'm about to embark on another 2ww (ovulating today) and wondered if there was anyone else out there in the same position who wanted to come along for the ride!

Only cycle 2 TTC #2 but took 13 months last time so crossing everything!!

Hi Scary and everyone else. Thanks for your advice- I sort of hate having the IC's (Grin Mooley) but if I didnt I'd be spending a fortune on tests! Did another one this morning with FMU and... Another not so faint line!

Loiter fingers crossed for you. Tested bfn yest & not testing again till Monday which will be 13dpo and 2 days before AF is due. All symptoms have disappeared (is that a symptom? Lol) although still quite a lot of cm which is weird. Crossing fingers for everyone waiting & everyone embarking on egg catching! Xxx

Loiterer- I can see something.

I really hope it's your bfp but will warn you about evaps on those tests as I had loads of faint lines this month. On the plus side, I also had a similar faint line with ds which obvs turned into a solid bfp.

Only time will tell. Maybe test again with fmu?

Hello! Sorry for going AWOL. Have had an awful couple of days with a non sleeping toddler, busy work and dealing with the disappointment of not being pg again this month.

I'm ok now though and feeling positive for next month. AF started properly today. I'm 12dpo. Makes me think that my longer lp last month (coupled with the 2 BFPs) did mean I had a chem pg as my lp shouldn't vary so dramatically.

The multiple faint lines I had on the ICs this month were undoubtably evaps. That'll teach me for testing so early!

I'm a bit worried about my early brown spotting. Going to up my vit b6 for progesterone this month and also defo buy some preseed.

I hope everyone is ok. Mooley- how many dpo are you now?

Alien- that's annoying with the monitor thingy.

Bobian- good luck for getting on it this weekend, hope you catch that egg!

Yup it's not working as I had the extra holder and tested that which have me an empty circle meaning low fertility!

mooley once the cb Digi shows a peak static smiley face it stays for 2 days and if you test again it messes it up apparently! I've got pains like ovulation so goodness knows what's happening! Lease I've now got loads of sticks left for use with Digi ov test for next cycle!
I think it might have gone bananas on me

Hi all. This wait is agonising. I just want to know. I work in a school science lab so the sooner I know the sooner they can do a risk assessment to make sure everything is safe. My nipples are really sore today I'm still having cramps and am tired. God I hope I am Confused my dh said not to obsess over it but I can't help it. By the time I finished ranting at him by text he bought loads chocolate and crisps (I was at work at bight time)

I think I can see something very faint but it is hard on my phone to see anything really. I'd test with FMU. If you are getting lines without then with you should get a clearer answer!

The tests you are using are ICs (Internet cheapies)Grin

Welcome loiterer you could test tonight and see what happens but FMU is best! Although I do love a good test thread so I'd be up for you testing Grin are you using ICs?

alien I don't know much about the CB digi ov thingys as I've never used them. How come you can't use them again? Sorry for being a bit dim! It is odd that it would show a peak the day after you finished AF, although not uncommon to ov this early in a cycle. Do you temp? Check CM? If other signs are indicating ov then I would dtd and see what happens. Sorry I'm not much help!

Hello, can I join... This is my third cycle of trying, I'm about 11dpo but not completely sure. I'm using the ovia app. I tested on Tuesday evening, thought I saw the faintest faintest of lines. Since then I've been feeling sick sort of like you would on the first day of AF. AF due on Monday, DH doesn't want me to test until then as I tend to get pretty disappointed. Also got some lower abdominal pricklyness, what could that be? I don't usually feel this bad pre AF arrival. Thought shed arrived earlier today but nothing. Another test tonight?

AF only stopped yday! Hence why I'm confused. First two cycles were 28 days and 2bd cycle I started with monitor and it showed ovulation at 14 days. Obviously can't retest again tomorrow. Have pains which I presume are ov pains( stabby pains) dtd last night and will try this weekend ( we re having a relaxed approach so can't put too much pressure on..) I'm guessing I'm just having a funny month?! Just seems odd I only tested yday as wasn't sure when to test and now that's it for this cycle , wondering if it's gone wrong and I can't re test later in the cycle? Sorry for all questions

alien when do you normally ov? I ov'd on CD10 one cycle. Just try and dtd as often as you can and keep an eye on CM etc. could just be one of those months! As long as that eggy is caught ?? remember ov is not a static event and can happen at any time during your cycle, but the time from ov to AF is almost always the same (eg if you have a 15 day LP this won't change)

So cd7 for me and I started testing with cb digital ovulation test yday and blank circle yday and today a peak!! Not sure how that happens as surely that's way too soon to ovulate?! My body's so confusing!

I'm roughly 6dpo (could be more but I doubt it) and absolute nothing of relevance to report. Temp still very high but that's nirmal too. Only thing that's different this cycle is my CM but again it's not a reliable enough sign for me to get excited. Just annoyed that I buggered up temping around ov so I have no real idea when ov day was. Hey ho, I'm sure AF will arrive in 9 days as expected!!

Hi can I join. I've been tycoon for about 6 months dtd in the middle of my cycle but this month we dtd every other day for the first 2 weeks. I randomly started feeling nauseous, metallic taste, indegestion, burping, cramps (for nearly 2 weeks now, heightened sense of smell and change in appetite. I wasn't symptom spotting as I'd given up on it and just thought it wouldn't happen this month cause it hadn't the last few. Af is due on the 22nd and some of the nauseousness has eased. Done tests but are -ve trying to wait till Sunday before doing another but I just feel pregnant. My womb feels full and heavy. So confused right now Hmm

I'd say its very likely that you ov'd when you think you did. It is very easy to miss the surge with OPKs. If you have had EWCM then that's a dead cert that ovulation is going to occur. I have had in the past times when my body tried to ov but didn't (i was very stressed with work at the time) but i did ov about a week later, so I really don't think that you are about to ov.

Some women say a positive OPK in the 2WW can be a sign of upduffedness. Some also say that it can be a sign of impending hag whore so who knows. Could just be a weird coincendence for us both!!

I personally have never had it before, and i tested with an OPK last month in the 2WW as I had one left and I didn;t want to waste a HPT. It was very very negative, so this is just weird, but then my body has been doing weird things all month, so anything is possible.

Think i just need to back away from the sticks, take some deep breaths and try and relax. What will be will be!!! Grin

Last AF was a month ago (CD 29 now) - had EWCM CD 11-14 but didn't get a positive OPK but thought I'd just missed the surge and tested at the wrong time. All neg OPKs until today. Had cramping on and off all month so hard to know what may be ovulating, or implanting or pms. Haven't been temping.

It's so tricky when its all new and first cycle to work out what is going on!!

I'll test tomorrow and see what happens, or see if AF arrives.

What are you thinking now then?

Gillian when was your last AF? Are you definitely in the 2WW now or have you had all the signs to indicate that it has already passed (CM, temps, neg OPKs etc.)?

I know i have definitely ov'd because my temps are at post ovulation range and my CM is definitely no longer fertile. My left boob hurts as well which it often does after ov. Could just be a duff test though. It's just confusing, so I am not going to waste any more on this craziness, I only tested out of interest to see if it would be an obvious negative. Now I am just Confused
