AF is due today, I've been patient and waited and not tested yet. No AF yet but I had cramps a bit earlier on. No other bloating and tenderness etc which I usually get. Unusually greasy skin for two weeks. Been clumsy and forgetful today but that might be lack of sleep for the last couple of nights.

I've had no alcohol at all for two weeks, because I'd got into the habit of drinking every evening and thought I really should have some time off and break the habit. I'd sort of promised myself some wine tonight when AF arrived, but since she hasn't yet I think I'm just going to POAS, get a bfn and then go out for some wine.

I really don't think I'm pregnant, but will be very happy if I am. Would like some company though, just in case I get an unexpected bfp and my whole life is turned thrillingly upside down in a few minutes from now...

How should I tell my DP? I don't think I want to hand him a stick I've peed on, and he's already a dad so something saying "You're a dad!" would just be confusing...

Heartbreaking that I can't tell my mum, who died a couple of years ago. She so wanted grandchildren Sad

Thank you so much, I'd have been alone with this for quite a while without mumsnet. DP lives in a different city, if I want to tell him in person I'll have to wait a few weeks. I think I do, and I sort of want to let it settle in myself first before I tell anyone in real life.

Invest in one of those 50p plastic jugs, very useful for various things like wee samples etc, better than a whisky glass!

BiscuitMillionaire · 21/08/2014 23:49

Boysclothes · 21/08/2014 23:41

I really need to go to bed now so hurry up!! Although of course it will say pregnant!

catsofa · 21/08/2014 23:41

catsofa · 21/08/2014 23:40

I guess I'll do one of the Tesco Digital ones. BRB reading the instructions...

catsofa · 21/08/2014 23:39

OK I've got the second tesco shit one but no point repeating the earlier test so soon so I'll do that tomorrow.

I've got a Clearblue Digital and a pack of two Tesco Digital ones, which also say pregnant if you're pregnant.

I have peed in a rather nice whisky glass. Sigh, whisky would be nice...

Back from Tescos, I bought cat food, naice ham and 3 pregnancy tests. Am I the most mumsnet person on mumsnet tonight? Oh, and I got my hair stuck on a button earlier on.
