tinkletink I have looked at your test and I can see something there. On that site you can invert the colours and you can really see it there but I could see something on the normal photo too (when tilting the laptop screen back). I would advise against getting a digital test yet though as they are not as sensitive. Best of luck to you.

Sunbathing - that sounds really positive! Have you done your HPT yet? I've had masses of sticky white CM for the past four or five days too.

tickletink · 16/08/2014 16:04

There is always hope, Sunbathing. If this does turn out to be a dodgy test or something and I'm not expecting, then I will be sad but not defeated and will hope for success next cycle. Even though my husband says no more than he says yes. ;)

Here's a picture of my test. It's so hard to see on the photo - can you ladies see it at all? It really is easier in real life, I'm certain I'm not a loon and it is really there.

Kinder?! I meant kindle, isn't kinder like those chocolate eggs with the toys in?

I've been brave and got a kinder edition of what to expect when you're expecting so I have some idea of what's next. Oh literally swimming in watery CM right now so if anyone of you have that and it's unusual for you before AF there's a sign!

Sunbathing, I understand the kind of troubles you have with both the irregular cycle (mine vary from 22 days to 34/36) and the libido-less husband. On my o-day my husband bonked me but couldn't [wouldn't] finish and left me feeling like I'd pretty much raped him! It's a horrible situation to be in and I think it makes things THAT much harder.

I reckon this month it was as you've suggest and you geared up but didn't quite get going. What GrandHighWitch says is perfectly plausible though - I really hope the HPT goes the way you want it to!

If not, I really recommend taking basal temperatures to help you understand what's going on - this is my first month doing it and I've found it seriously insightful. Not only do I know when I ovulated, but I also know that I absolutely did - because my temperature raised and stayed raised! It's really reassuring and something I didn't really know I was worried about!

I'm on 11DPO today and have started to feel sore in the ol' nipples. I've had quite prominent veinage on my boobs for a few days but I know I've noticed that before despite not being aware of when in my cycle it was, so have paid it no heed. I did a test first thing this morning and it was plainly negative.

I was talking to my husband earlier and we were talking about goats (a mutual love - we both volunteered on a goat farm in Australia which sounds really weird unless you know the context!) and some how wound up talking about pregnancy. (One of the goats we bottle raised got a bit frisky before she was even a year old and found herself upduffed. The farmer had to give her a forced abortion or risk losing her.) He asked me how I would know I was pregnant. I said "Well, either when I get my period I know I'm not, or when I get a positive test I know I am."

He asked me when my period is due and I said "yesterday." He gave me an excited look so I very quickly reminded him that I have an irregular cycle so could be waiting some time yet but he got me excited, and I decided to go do another dip test.

I haven't been able to get a good photo, but I have a (very!!) faint positive! But where any tests I've done before have been totally white on the background - this ISN'T! It's pale but it's in the right place and it popped right up within two minutes so it's not an evap line. You can't see it very well on the picture I took at all, but it's definitely there when you look at it right in front of you.

I cannot wait until tomorrow morning to see if I get a stronger line!! I don't want to tell my husband until I'm certain.

Thanks Angelaham and Katybear123. I will be sticking around for as much as I am able to at the moment Smile. Although I am going to try and not symptom spot as much as I can this time as I think it leads to too much disappointment for me. Obviously I am going to fail miserably at that but at least the intentions there lol.

SunbathingCat I would say that either your body is gearing up to ovulate (after possibly failing to last time) and you are having a long and pretty strong surge. Maybe do a internet cheapy hpt to ensure that you are not in fact picking up hcg with it?

Katybear123 · 16/08/2014 15:14

Gd advice angel not sure I can ignore but will try to enjoy it instead.

Katy - just have a good time and try not to think about it , which i know is really hard, when i went out with one of my pregnant friends - she knows we are trying and she wanted to go into baby shops, i was in my element as i had an excuse to go in with out bumping people seeing and gossiping as i had an excuse and also could look around without looking like a total weirdo!!!

Katybear123 · 16/08/2014 14:02

Yep with u on that 1 angel. I know I feel these things just not sure y is it af or preg.
I agree hang around grand witch.

Katy - they say that pregnancy and af symptoms can be the same so try not to worry,

Stick around Grand high and we can all symptom spot together!!!

i am having cramps and feeling a bit gassy, but who knows!!!, i was in Homebase and standing at the tiils looked to one side and there was a couple pushing a pram and then on the other side of me another couple with a pram they both had new born babies in the prams, felt like i was over run!!!

jazzyjenbo · 16/08/2014 13:41

Congratulations oneday! Fab news, cramping.. Like a stitch has resumed, boobs are tingling, like when u get let dowb to those who hav b/f.
Waiting until friday now to see if this week brings af.

TheGrandHighWitch · 16/08/2014 13:37

Hi ladies. First of all massive congratulations to Siarie, Onedaylikethis and all the other BFP's I have missed recently. I haven't been around much as rl has been a bit hectic with school holidays and also found out a relative has cancer so I have been helping out by going with them to appointments etc. Thankfully it seems to be very treatable to fx I can relax about that part of my life soon.

Skimming over the previous posts to try and catch up I noticed Kitty mentioned something about lower temps on the soy isoflavones and increased number 2's. I have noticed that too so can only assume they are connected to the tablets. I went with the days 2-6 option with taking them. I am currently cd14 and got my first peak reading this cycle on my cbfm this morning. Did a cheapie opk at around mid day and a nice positive on that so good to go tonight. Managed to convince mrTGHW to dtd last night too as was expecting ovulation soon. I also pre-warned him about having to man up as he is expected to perform at command over the next few days Wink.

I was debating whether to stick with this bus or go to september as my af/bfp date currently stands at 31st august. But seeing how lucky this bus is, I think I am sticking with this one Grin.

Katybear123 · 16/08/2014 13:34
