TTC #1 hoping for BFP before xmas.

I am three days late so far. I poas four days ago with the superdrug early test but it came back negative. I think I will just have to wait a bit longer for AF to appear. I thought it was on its way because my usual symptoms were there (spotty and IBS flares up) but then nothing!

Anyone else found this? I've always had CM that has gone through all its various stages of thickness but ever since ttc it has vanished! Nothing! No CM at all, at any point during the month! Any ideas folks? x

So AF came early by two days, normally I have a regular as clockwork cycle.

Baffers my first test was bfn and that was after my af was due.

Ah, did a test and got a BFN, so a bit onfused as to why I was having really bad cramps. Ho hum, suppose I've got to sit it out and wait for AF to show up!

I did manage to get 2 early detection pregnancy tests for £1 in Poundland though! Certainly cheaper than all the ones in Boots!

Thanks freedom40 I had never heard of this preseed...I'll have a look into it. I thought I was trying everything...clearly not :)

sciencegeek i decided to take the plunge and spend money on opk just because im not disciplined enough to temp. And because i am hoping to increase my odds. A dew mumsneter are using preseed or per conception lube but think I'll wait 1 more month till i go there.

Firstly let me wish you all luck for BFPs before Christmas. I'm in my 2nd month TTC. I came off BC July2013 and waited 12months before even trying. Just wondered how many are using ovulation tests? Just wondering if there's a point in making the effort as last month it had no effect. All thoughts welcome :)

FX for everyone testing, baffers I would test now tbh but I do like to test!!

CD1 for me :( Onwards and upwards, my cycle was only 33 days this month. Temping really helped me this month, my temp went right down today and I just knew I was due on, I am sad of course but hopeful for next month.

Saturday feels so far away (that's when I'll POAS). Thick, creamy cm (TMI!) but that's the only thing which is different.

Hi all, I desperately need advice!

I stopped taking my pill on 19th August. Since then, we've been DTD every 2- days. I'd had one withdrawl bleed for a few days after stopping the pill. I have no idea if and when I am ovultating, and there's no sign of AF (but, I guess I may already be pregnant if I'm lucky in whcih case she won't show up!)

I had really bad cramps yesterday (so much so it stoppd me doing wht I was up to) so I thoguht AF was going to show up, but nothing.

When do I do a pregnancy test? Do I leave it until the end of the month or am I a lost cause until AF makes an appearance?

Can I join?
Took my last pill (microgynon) 2 days ago so now officially ttc #1! Exciting and scary time. Been reading all the stories on here and seems as though everyone had had different experiences. Going to try and not get too caught up and just go with it and hope for the best!

Cheers ladies. From looking online I'm thinking most likely scenario is that the mum to be vitamins I have started taking have lengthened my cycle as apparently b6 does that. Still hopeful but think it's probably the vitamins!!

I am on cd31 now and no AF....this is the latest I have been since coming off the pill at new year. I did a test on cd29 which was a bfn, trying not to let myself get excited as dh had a sperm test two months ago that was awful, so I know it's unlikely, but still can't help hoping, esp as my usual cycle is around 28 days.....now on running to the loo every half hour and expecting to see blood. I think if AF doesn't show by tmrw I will be getting very excited. Fx

Giraffe FX! Sounds optimistic. I've accidentally on purpose not temped this cycle, just trying to DTD as often as poss, hope we don't miss it. I've started taking Seven Seas 'trying for a baby' too so not sure if that will affect anything...
