I haven't told him yet, he's at work and can't call him. Think I'm going to wait til this evening - he will prob be shocked and a bit scared but happy.

I used cheapie OPKs but not every day and never got a proper positive, just a faint line. But I've felt myself ovulate almost every month since stopping the pill so when the faint OPK came the same day as the cramping I took it to be positive. Not sure if it was that exact day but clearly it was close enough. I thought we might have dtd too early as we did it the day before I thought I ovulated and not again for another 5ish days. Dtd roughly every 3 days but ranged from 2 to 7 days so not that much.

Congrats banana amazing news. Did u ov test and if so did u use internet cheapies or cbfm? And did I dtd loads or just at what u knew were peak times? Sorry for Spanish Inquisition just desperate to learn

Thanks Sunshine and English. No real symptoms at all - except feeling a bit sick this morning but sure that's the shock! - the only thing I've noticed (weirdly) is that the muscles just inside and below my hips have been twingy. No idea if that's related! I ovulated late, around day 23ish and must have caught from dtd the day before. I drank pink grapefruit juice every day from about day 10 to ovulation as I read it increases ewcm - not sure if it did or not but I felt like I had more than normal. Otherwise I didn't do anything special, no legs raised, etc. Just got very lucky.

Thank you! Still in total shock, I've lurked on this board for ages and had built myself up for it to take a long time so can't believe my luck for it to have happened first month. I keep looking at the test in case it changes it's mind!

Lucie I'm on just folic acid and vit c now as I wondered if last months 'symptoms' were due to pregnancy vitamins. It seems my body does bizarre things and I need to not try and read into it as I always come up with either really good or really bad diagnosis from my google searches....que sera!

Well, I'm estimating I'm 6/7dpo and I'm feeling like crappola! Very achey boobs and sensitive nipples and a little bit gassy to boot - schhhexy!!

However, with all these goings on it could just be AF ramping up to come in a bit... One more week to wait it out!

Hi Sparkle, I was thinking the same thing today that my name is getting nearer and nearer the top, it's scary! In past cycles I have been a bit of a poas addict from about 8dpo but this cycle I'm trying to chill out a bit more. I've even stopped temping as I think I pretty much know when I ov now and my temps always confirmed it so don't think there's too much of an issue there so just use opks now. I was finding that I was over analysing everything. I am trying not to poas this month unless AF is late. I just don't feel pregnant or any different and if I get a bfn I would feel down now whereas I would rather hold onto the hope a little longer. Although I doubt I will be able to hold out until Tuesday but we will see!

When are you due to test lucie. It is interesting looking at the list of stats and watching the names move nearer to the top? eek is getting closer for us all, nearly middle of August.

Well good luck banana got my fingers crossed for you! Its picked it up quite well in the photo and no squinting required. Internet cheapies are so hard to interpret sometimes though. I have spent many an hour squinting at mine willing there to be something there!

Eek lucieloos - I just feel so sure it's going to be negative! I went and checked the test again when I got in from work this evening and it's such a squinter it's almost not there, we will see in the morning!

That does help a bit but I'm also trying not to get my hopes up too much.

lucie that seems like a good price for the tests. Think what other stuff in life we pay £200 that you wouldn't think twice about. I would definitely consider that in a few cycles time.

Sorry about your dh kitty, how awful he needs surgery. Hope he gets better soon.
