detective For me, that would mean a longer cycle of 29/30 days but I have had the odd cycle where I've just ov'd later.
If I were you I'd test when you would normally expect AF - if you get a positive you'll know it was late ov rather than a longer cycle.
If it's negative - well, it's back to guessing games!

Hi Detective This could go one of two ways: you ovulate today or tomorrow but your LP extend itself accordingly and you end up with a 29-30 day cycle or a BFP or the LP doesn't adjust and cycle ends 28 days as normal. 11 or 12 day LP is still considered normal and fine.

Or, you don't ovulate and you either have done or will (highly unlikely but always possible-can only check with temping) I'd still jump DH over the next few days inc. weekend if I were you!!

I on the other hand have been a bit silly...I'm on CD12 and don't normally start using OPKs until this day due to ovulating between CD18-20 usually, but I wish I did yesterday!

This morning my temp dipped a further .2 or so degrees and woke up with sharp stabby pains in right side. My cm is still dry but coupled with my sore boobs yesterday afternoon onwards, I could be gearing up or ovulating a full week early. Could the Soy Isoflavones be working their magic or just a weird side effect I know which I'd rather hope for and still used my DH to good effect regardless

Detective not everyone has the magical 14 luteal phase. Most people it's somewhere between 11-14. Which means even with a 28 day cycle it's perfectly normal to ov at cd16. Or you could just be in for a longer cycle. Your lp generally won't change by more than a day or two from cycle to cycle. Wow I said cycle a lot there!

I was just thinking it seems a bit of a late ovulation given my cycle lengths?

This mornings opk was a positive too but took longer than last nights line to show and isn't as dark, more equal to the control line.

I'm trying to pinpoint ovulation because my last baby went to 20 days over due according to scan dates. But 17 days to my dates. If the same scenario occurs I'd like to know ovulation so I can be sure of my dates. So I will feel more confident to not accept induction of labour.

Detective, are you concerned as this would mean your LP would only be 12 days? Do you know how long it is usually? I think that sounds about right (but excuse me if I'm missing something).

11DPO, no AF. Woke up with cramps again and assumed she'd turned up, but no! Have been doing some rampant googling on progesterone tablets, and it seems they can cause some cramping, so am revising my expectations down to no pregnancy but progesterone working as it should to hold off AF. Tomorrow morning I'll be 12DPO if still no sign so will POA FRER. Exciting! Have enjoyed the ride this cycle even if not upduffed. Meds are all doing what they should so I should just have the same 25% pregnancy chance each cycle now!

I was just about to come and post moan for advice. I didn't get a positive opk last month. The closest I got was a line almost as dark as the control. But not quite.

I'm CD15 (as we are now after midnight). My cycles are 28 days with the odd 26/27 thrown in. Last month was 27. I have been POAS every time I wee for the last 5 days! At 9.15pm I did one which showed a faint line but not a positive. At midnight I got a definite positive (see pic!).

So it seems I'm going to ovulate around CD16? Is that right?

I'm confused. As I've never had a cycle longer than 28 days.

Will this cycle be longer? It seems silly but it's important to me to know a date of ovulation (or as close to it as I can) for reasons I CBA going in to . Also. When can I POAS?! CD 25/26?

Luckily, we dtd an hour before my positive opk. And DP has agreed as soon as I get in from work tomorrow at 3pm we will do it again .

Don't give up yet could be imp bleed . I think mine was in hindsight 6/7dpo last cycle ...

and now its moved to proper red when wiping just now. sorry tmi. wtaf?! goes and hides in corner while head explodes.... if I ignore weird spotting 2 weeks ago its the start of a very late af. if I take weird spottimg as af. then it's very bloody early af or implantation bleeding. ... will have to see what tomoro brings

Just noticed I think a slight pink tinge when wiping and seem to have slight cramps down there. Was doing so well not symptom spotting up to now. Only 5/6dpo!

Hi pinkz thanks for sharing I'm shooting for eod cd9- 21 just in case. Last month we dtd eod cd6-16 but af was still here till cd9 this time so had to start later. I'm hoping 9-21 should be enough

Yes maybe last weeks cp mixed things up don't know if I'm up to this again since have had the same unfortunate result two cycles in a row . It's starting to get ridiculous in total numbers 13-14 early mc and cp . I'm tired of this emotional and physical roller coaster . I can't take having my hopes up and feeling pregnant time after time for it just to end in misery again . I wish DH agreed with me about surrogacy .
I can't give stats until I see when I ov and decide if I'm doing this this cycle or not . Maybe I need a break. Feel tearful and so fed up today .

Breathless I have a cbfm and try and dtd every other day from cd9-20 or as much as we can with a toddler

toobreathless i'm cd22 of 29/30 so I should test Wednesday next week at the earliest - more likely to be Monday though I'm planning on a first response/superdrug own for then which will be a waste, obviously and then I'll crack open my eBay cheapies. I have no willpower and no patience.

cd7 does seem pretty early nordic - nice that you're getting a warning though, rather than straight to solid - perhaps this is your month?!

So the odd cycle continues. Now have flashing smiley on cd7 which is a week early for me . Will be interesting to see when it turns solid ... For the last few months haven't had any flashing just straight from blank to a solid. I've looked at my calendar and for this year have had pretty regular 26/27 d cycles and usually ov around 12-14 d in so this is very early ?!

I know what you mean pikz the limbo can be awful can't it. Can I be cheeky and ask if you have strategy so to speak? I don't and just vaguely thinking of different approaches so to speak.

Hi lovely ladies. Just checking in, cd11 here 1 app says I'm in my fertile window the other says it starts in 2 days so we plan on dtd 2 night to keep up eod. Hoping to god this works. Poor hubbie having a horrid time in new job so trying to help him out with stuff, my job pretty pants to right. Trying not to stress as know it's no gd for conception.

I only have cm to go by, my ff app and ov app and 2 cycles since coming off the pill one 51 days and 1 25 days so not that helpful..

To be honest after loads of v faint lines and a silly long cycle for me usually max 28-30 so 34 has just left me feeling like I just wanted AF so I could start again and stop feeling awful!

I'm CD 24 now, but think I have long cycle (32 days??) I'm basing that on the terribly unscientific fact that both my pregnancies have had my due date put back by 5 days at the 12 week scan. I've never actually kept track.

No symptoms other than sore boobs and bloating but I'm giving up breastfeeding this week so I I think that's why. It would practically be an immaculate conception anyway having DTD a grand total of three times the whole cycle.
