Oh and wine - I had 6 months of being good so now I think sod it. Ill have it if i want it. I'm going out for dinner with DH tomorrow and I plan to have prosecco AND wine! Grin

gennibugs · 07/08/2014 10:47

katybear I know the feeling re jobs as I'm the same! I hate my job and want to leave but I really need the mat leave/pay so I'm stuck. I sometimes think that I'm not falling pg because I'm pretty stressed with it all and if only I could leave I'd be so much more relaxed and happy and more likely to get my bfp. its a vicious circle I think! DH and I have decided if no BFP by the end of this year I'll ask to go part time for 6 months. see if that helps.

I think if you dtd tonight you should be covered!

Katybear123 · 07/08/2014 10:39

Ps siarie I with I can't give up my weekend wine it's only half a bottle fri and sat and I think not having it would stress me more !

Katybear123 · 07/08/2014 10:38

Thanks treacle and karma I'm going to try not to stress and I think maybe I will stay away from sticks this month. I think what making it worse is I hate my job have for a while now but me and dh agreed I would stick if out to get the mat leave I'm well paid and it's gd. But I'm so desperate to leave which piles on the pressure I just want to b a mummy. Hmm I think I need a deep breath, my daily aerobics class and to chill. On cm hunt and it's still cloudy and I'm getting some pains to reckon may ovulate today we'll c . Last month reckon it was cd 13 and it's cd 12 today so possible if I am and we dtd I should still b ok right?

Siarie · 07/08/2014 10:27

Treacle I see drinking as fair game up until ovulation now, last month I was all good and that. But I now I think that maybe it's good to relax a little and me and DH go out for dinner and have wine which makes us happy.

Siarie · 07/08/2014 10:25

I'm hoping I'm in my TWW now and you know what, I think I might not even POAS this month and wait until AF arrives. Last month it was worse knowing that there was something and it did not stick rather than not knowing at all. Which makes me think that perhaps it's best just not knowing!

So today could be 1DPO how many days do you think i'll last ;)?

kurama · 07/08/2014 09:30

well thats up to you as to if you want ro start a month early but I find that if u dont drink much and can hold it in for 4/5 hours u can usually get the same result as firt morning wee

Treaclepie19 · 07/08/2014 09:27

Sorry katy cross post.

That would help you to pinpoint ovulation. Some ladies find they work better in the afternoon anyway.

Treaclepie19 · 07/08/2014 09:26

Thanks MrsE, I will try that.
Despite my intentions of being good, I went our last night and drank far too much wine.

I think I need to take a month off drinking!

Katybear123 · 07/08/2014 09:24

Thank kurma and tracle. I'm sure u r right. I think it's worse as yes I think I have short cycles last once was 25 days but don't know for certain as only came off pill in may so last cycle was only my 2nd cycle. 1st was 51 days. My Ovia ap is saying do a fertility test. I don't have any as wasn't going to start this till next month but do u reckon I should I could go to boots? But I've already had my first pea of the day?

MrsExtraOrdinary · 07/08/2014 09:19

Treacle if you're having a bit of time out it might be worth continuing to take the thrush tablet once a week to completely clear you out. I had to do this non stop for 3 months it was chronic. But it solved it. You can still have it even when you aren't showing symptoms. It's a bigger to get rid of. Angry

katy try not to worry. cd12 is quite early so u still have a good chance x

Treaclepie19 · 07/08/2014 08:52

Thanks genni :)
Yeah I was expecting it, there was a lack of dtd due to thrush.
I think we will be having a cycle off now as I'm going a bit crazy.

Jump on your DH when he gets home Genni :)

katy, try not to worry. Do you have short cycles? Cd 12 is quite early anyway.

Katybear123 · 07/08/2014 08:38

Morning ladies in need of support. Feeling down today cd 12 today which according to ff app is ovulation day tried last night to dtd but hubbie had a shocker of a new day and it didn't happen. So sad as feel that was our shot. He says he can try again tonight and I'm trying to reassure him as he has enough stress but I'm sad and have no one to talk to about it Hmm. I hope it will work tonight and I know Ovia app has only just put me in fertile window but I just want to be preg. Sorry this sounds so all about me Hmm

gennibugs · 07/08/2014 08:30

Morning all.

Day god knows what in the gennibugs house and another flashing smiley. Just fix FFS!

Anyway DH is away tonight and won't be back til very late tomorrow. sods law ill get my fixed this eve or in the morning. He's said we should DTD when he's back. Really hope we don't miss ov, we've both really tried hard this cycle and I'll be sad if we fall at the final hurdle.

good luck treacle for a new cycle. Were you expecting AF?

sounds like there are some promising symptoms - fx for you chandlers and misty.

mrse and kurama hope you work out what's going on soon.

kitty I think you definitely did the right thing in jumping DH

Treaclepie19 · 07/08/2014 08:15

Hi all,
Af arrived. Either 10dpo or 17dpo.

Fingers crossed for you misty and congrats fairey :)

Hope you're out of limbo soon MrsE x

MrsExtraOrdinary · 07/08/2014 08:07

Morning ladies! Sunny down on the south coast today, hope the sun is shinning wherever you all are Smile

Planned to meet an old friend today but woke up and feeling yuck. Af still not arrived despite cramping, no spotting or change in cm at all. But had upset tummy this morning so hoping it passes quickly. Felt nauseous for about 10 days but that could just be the stomach problems I have so not full proof symptom for me.

I'm Sure I'm not pg. Last test was yesterday bfn so hoping af turns up today. I'm done with limbo now. It's weird some times I can get a regular 28 day cycle and then almost every third one or at the moment every other just goes on and on and on.... Cd35 today Worried its going to knock me for 6 when it finally shows up. Maybe it's waiting for my kids to come home tomorrow?! I know their dad is perfectly capable of looking after them but I miss them terribly. I drove into town yesterday and spotted the youngest 2 in the park playing. Sad Think Ill make them a cake for tomorrow Smile

Cd 8 and still a flashing smily

Fairey86 · 07/08/2014 08:06

Thankyou all for your lovely congratulations messages! Still in shock lol
Will keep my eyes posted for some more BFPs on this thread :) xxx

KittyVonCatsington · 07/08/2014 07:31

Technically you could only have just implanted so I hope that's the case!

mistywillow17 · 07/08/2014 07:20

I think 11 or 12 DPO - keeping fingers tightly crossed that it's still to early to show. Thank goodness for cheapy tests (I bought in bulk and have a stash of about 50! Blush), I would be spending a fortune otherwise

KittyVonCatsington · 07/08/2014 07:17

How many dpo are you misty? There is still hope!

mistywillow17 · 07/08/2014 07:14

Oops, forgot to say, belated congratulations to Fairey
And Kurama (I love your pics!) hope today brings some answers for you

mistywillow17 · 07/08/2014 07:11

Morning all.

AF is due tomorrow and still BFN - but also still have the weirdest permanently dry mouth.

It's funny, at the moment, I quite LIKE having a dry mouth because it could potentially be an exciting SYMPTOM

But if AF rears her ugly head tomorrow then it will be a real annoyance - I'm thirsty all the time, and no amount of liquid takes that dry feeling away. So I am really hoping it is not just something I need to see the doctor about!

I haven't had my usual cramping this cycle, just a few twinges here and there, so all things considered, I am keeping my fingers cautiously crossed. (Oh, and I thought I was becoming more sensitive to smell, but it turns out that DH is just excessively windy at the moment!)

KittyVonCatsington · 07/08/2014 07:10

X-post with English - love that we are on the same page Grin How are you doing? Any positive cycle signs?
