Morning Grin

Misty, sorry af arrivedThanks

MrsE, hope everything gets sorted for your house move.

Detective, your story made me laugh.

Genni, I'm not sure about the ewcm, isn't it supposed to be present at most fertile time? But I read somewhere that by the time you see ewcm the egg has already been released. I'm sure kitty or English will knowGrin

9dpo here and no symptoms. Af due next thurs/fri so will try and hold off poas until Tues. not feeling hopeful though as I don't think we dtd enough!

Who's next to poas? We need some bfp's Grin

gennibugs · 08/08/2014 06:50

Morning all

misty sorry AF got you. I hope you have a lovely holiday. Are you going someone hot and sunny? Thanks

mamapo hope you and your little one feel better soon.

the detective fingers crossed you've done enough - it sounds like it. wE all have challenges don't we in this ttc lark- seems like it's not easy in so many different ways for us all on this bus.

chandlers could the cramps have been implantation? But as you say, at least you are on the right track now if AF does show up. You are so wonderfully positive.

Well I got another flashing smiley. But the lines were very close together. So think it should have been a fixed. Anyway I'm feeling all crampy so reckon I'll ov today. Just our luck it's whilst DH is away. I'm hoping and hoping we can catch it when he gets home at around midnight, but I'm guessing it may well be too late! The window is ever so small isn't it!

tickletink · 08/08/2014 06:43

Sorry your period turned up, mistywillow. Sad

FF confirmed this morning that I am on DPO 3, but my chart is so weird looking. I have some really bizarre highs early in the cycle and a couple of really jagged peaks and troughs (due to differences of an hour in waking up times). I think if we have no luck this month, I'm going to set an EARLY alarm just for temping to try and get a smoother chart next cycle.

Chandlers yes, I think it would have been 12dpo. I did have a funny feeling last night that it was all over!
I might try softcups this month. Keeping fingers crossed that September is a luckier month!

ChandlersFarang · 08/08/2014 06:09

Misty were you gonna be 12DPO too today? I was watching you and xBlue with interest as we were at the same stage! Sorry AF got you. I took a FRER this morning - BFN. Gah! I was sort of expecting that though tbh. First month on all the drugs and hormones so would have been like getting preg on my first cycle!! Not likely. However like I've said I'm quite pleased that all is now working, I've still not had AF so the progesterone's working at holding it off. Slightly weird I had major cramps on 9DPO, which is when I'd usually get AF. Will speak to doc about that. I'm gonna wait til 14DPO and stop the progesterone so AF should come a day or two later (which will make this cycle 56 days in total!! ShockShock) ...then it's all eyes on the prize for early September! Will be on the Femara (medical soy isoflavones!! Lol) CD3-7 this time though so hopefully I'll have a normal length cycle. One chance at the prize every 28 days is the dream!!! Smile

Kitty am v pleased you're ov'ing early!! Maybe the soy's working already? And you'll have a more normal length cycle this time (hopefully a 9 monther!! Grin).

MaMaPo · 08/08/2014 06:07

Det, that sounds like you have a decent chance this month. Nice work!

Sorry to hear that misty - look forward to a relaxing holiday and good luck for next month.

There is a suspicious lack of BFPs around here. Who's next up? I think I got missed off the last list of stats so I should add myself in. CD9 here and have been using OPKs for a couple of days as I have no idea when I'm ovulating. Negatives so far, as expected, but hopefully one will be positive this weekend.

Well, I'm doing plenty of faffing about on the internet today - my toddler is unwell and has been napping for 3h15m so far this afternoon. Poor wee girl. I could have done so much in that time but have done so little! So slack. But then I have a cold too so shouldn't expect too much of myself. I should have gone to bed myself but instead I'm sat here yawning away...

mistywillow17 · 08/08/2014 05:25

AF just turned up. Bugger.
Now wondering what this permanently dry mouth is all about if it isn't a symptom.
On the plus side, we're off on our holidays at the end of the month, at least I can have a few beers.
Maybe NEXT month then... try try again and all that.
Good luck to the rest of you, I want to see some BFPs to cheer me up!

TheDetective · 08/08/2014 01:13

I meant I got a positive opk just after midnight in to day 15 not day 16. Duh.

TheDetective · 08/08/2014 01:12

God. Making babies is just not romantic at all!!!

TheDetective · 08/08/2014 01:11

Bloody iPhone! Thanks for the advice :) I guess I can only wait and see what happens.

Got further positive opks today.

I think I got lucky in the fact that DP understands the whole 'when I say shag, we shag' thing. The tricky part in our house is getting the actual chance to shag Hmm.

This evening for example. We wanted to dtd as early as possible when I got home from work. My 12 year old was here with his friend and our toddler was running about.

We ended up sending the two 12 year olds to the shop, with the dog to make it a longer walk, for something we didn't really need Grin. Then sat the toddler in his highchair his favourite place the odd bod! watching waybuloo while me and DP legged it upstairs for the fastest shag known to man. Anyway, it all went wrong, nothing was produced, and the boys arrived back before we could do anything about it Grin.

So we had to wait to bedtime. Where it seems DP got stage fright once again Grin and bless him, he sorry to be so crude!!!! sorted himself out and stuck it in me at the crucial moment!

I think it's safe to say, DP is all shagged out Grin. Poor bugger. Every few days is all he can cope with usually!

Will have to give tomorrow a rest and hope we've done enough!

Dtd CD10,12,13,14 (twice), 15. Positive opk on CD14/15 (just after midnight into day 16). Really would like to dtd tomorrow just in case. But guess poor DP might have something to say about that!

TheDetective · 08/08/2014 01:00

Thanks

kurama · 07/08/2014 23:20

Normally I love my job and like my boss.... Hormones? Lol.
Just wish I could explain to someone irl how I'm feeling right now dh doesn't understand what's happening anymore than I do. He's trying to be supportive but just doesn't get it Confused

Katybear123 · 07/08/2014 22:17

Kitty and tickle I an so the same hubbie gets we need to do it but work stress gets us both which is poo. We managed it tonight though and both apps reckon we r in fertile window Grin

Katybear123 · 07/08/2014 22:16

Sorry ur having a bad time kurama that's no gd. Try to take a deep breath and think soon hopefully v soon I'll get mat leave!

tickletink · 07/08/2014 21:59

Oh Kurama - that picture!! OUCH!!! I wouldn't let that near me!!!

kurama · 07/08/2014 21:53

thanks ladies. i hope so too, a bit of blood on pad today and light red cm when wiping, though a was actually turning up earlier as cramping got really bad, but it went after an hour or so. had another shit day at work although half the stuff i was blamed for wasnt my fault. wanted to hit my boss which hasnt happened before, so Angry
no sore boobs as such yet. ive been very calm over past few weeks and thats weird enough. hopefully i should be out of limbo in next 2 weeks. if my level was at 2 last thurs and it is ib then it should start doubling from today so 2-4-8-16-32 so maybe next sat? wishful thinking.

how is everyone else today???

as im feeling crap you can have the worse pic i found Wink

tickletink · 07/08/2014 21:44

I think you're right there, Kitty - they just don't pay as much attention as we do to begin with!

We're on cycle two, and my husband thinks I'm obsessed. I temp in the mornings and that's all I do - I'm not trying to jump him any more than I ever have, I'm not perma-peeing on a stick, I'm not talking about my cervical mucus with him... but he still thinks every single time I want to have sex it's only about making a baby! He has said no more often this month than he ever has before... I think he is putting pressure on himself, the fool.

I think the next time he turns me down I'm going to scream "I'm not even fertile, I just want a " at him just to hammer it into him that YES, I want to get pregnant but NO, it's not the be all and end all just yet!

If he thinks I'm obsessed now he'll be in for a surprise in three months when I start panicking that I'll no longer be in my twenties when I have my first child and I'm still not pregnant! Ha!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 07/08/2014 21:39

Not even a hint of a line on an opk.... far too early for me!!

My dh is well up for ttc now! After a year of ttc, he's very determined!

KittyVonCatsington · 07/08/2014 21:21

Sounds familiar! I get the impression a lot of men initially think TTC will be easy, that their super sperm once will be enough. It's only after a long time with nothing happening, do they start to actually think about it and start giving it the same attention we do Grin

MrsExtraOrdinary · 07/08/2014 21:09

Kitty it's only taken him 9 months to give it his all. Think he's clocked he'll be nearly 42 by the time anything hatches and that's only if he gets a wriggle on with it now!! Grin

OP posts:
KittyVonCatsington · 07/08/2014 21:05

Good on 'im MrsE Wink

MrsExtraOrdinary · 07/08/2014 20:58

Kitty that did make me laugh!Grin I've put all the campers on I've they're much cooler and the bolly is in the fridge! Wink

You wouldn't believe the hoops and the jumping that's gone on. Hoping to have contracts drafted next week and exchanged and completed in quick succession. Just want it done now.

You're very right I've been a stress head about it. Dh demands if af ever turns up and as soon as it's over a new pair of suspenders for every day of the month. I nearly died of shock. Thinking he's on a ttc mission!
