English - I'm sorry for what ur going through. It's horrid sat yesterday all day with a preg friend and a friend with 2 children who spent the day telling me how easy it is to have children how the both feel 1st cycle and how generally conceiving is a piece of cake even though both were told they would struggle as 1 had end emeritus and the other fell on the pill!!!! I wanted to scream listen u fuckers b thankful it's not that easy for everyone grrrrrrr!!!!!

Jazzy have a read of the thread I linked in yesterday! it explains about the concept behind taking cough medicine. Basically it thins mucus, including cervical mucus as well as what you'd normally expect from cough medicine. The thinning of the cm is meant to make it more hospitable to the little swimmers if you don't normally get fertile cm, which I hadn't been. I'm actually amazed by the difference this cycle, although I have been taking evening primrose oil daily up until yesterday and have only been taking the cough medicine when I remember and even then only once or twice a day. I've stopped taking both those now as I got the positive opk.

I'm just quietly plodding away on my 2ww at the moment, I'm 5dpo and not really experiencing any symptoms which I'm really pleased about. I've stopped taking the pregnacare from last month as I was feeling awful and so I'm definitely putting it down to those.

Thanks sunshine! I'm still v early (5+2) so I'm mostly just fretting, but it is also quite exciting! Have been getting lots of cramps and am knackered, but apart from that all good! Having an early scan at EPU next Thursday to check things are developing normally due to cramps - so I'm nervous! Xx

I've been up since 6am!! Yes on a Sunday!! Been baking cupcakes for my best friends baby shower today.
Had a meltdown last night - DH and I about to dtd and I get the hump with our regimental, non-spontaneous, TTC sex life. Totally spoilt the mood as you'd imagine. Then during our then ensuing row I lose it over my shitty cycles, my worries that I won't ovulate again this cycle and the fact that I don't ovulate at the 'normal' point. And that basically my body is a CUNT!! Think all my friends being either about to pop or happily cuddling their newborns has brought back all the emotion from the first mc. Don't think I particularly 'grieved' the second one. Felt very sorry for myself. BUT we did then have make up sex..... Silver lining and all that!

I got my BFP on Friday

Little bit scared due to previous pregnancy but calling my consultant on Monday to book in for a 7/8 week scan, it doesn't feel real at the moment though!
