I cheered myself up with a rare steak and half a bottle of Malbec on Saturday, and then me and DH had a raging rum and coconut session at a beach bar last night dancing to breaks - was so fun! Quite enjoyed not being preg! We've discussed, and from now on the (hopefully now 28 day) cycle rhythm will be - CD1, get smashed up together , then two weeks of hospital appointments/juicing/sushi, plus joining him on our old hardcore exercise regime - then the TWW where I go down my own path of chilling, yoga and waiting. So it's all planned out, only a baby can mess that up! Wonder how many times we'll go through this routine...?! X x

Hallo all again. Sorry to hear of AFs around the place but at least some Bfps!

I'm on CD10 of my first cycle tracking temps and using opks. Given short cycles I've been using opks since the end of AF on CD5, all negative so far (can just just see a line if I squint). Temping is unlikely to be helpful as I have had a sick toddler who's been keeping me up at nigts, or waking me early. But I will persist with everything, trying to get some more action from my husband, and see what I learn. Hopefully something!

Linda I honestly have no idea ....but I won't need to find out coz I will get that bloody elusive BFP!

Hey lovelies. Been away for the weekend in Brighton and seems I've missed a zillion pages!
Sooooo, lovely husband man and I DTD before I left, approx CD13, think I ovulated whilst away due to temp drop but didn't take OPKs with me as I thought it was too much faffing to do!
Anyway, I don't know if we timed it right, if I officially ovulated or any of that fuh-schizzle but it appears I'm not on the wait for AF too! :-)

Might have to go see it this week! Could do with some serious giggles!

Thanks Sunbathing - it really wasn't so bad. I'll just be glad when I'm not surrounded by pregnant people. They're harder to deal with than the actual babies!

I'm ok thanks Kitty. So nice to have so many people here who are in relatable circumstances. So much easier to talk to people who know exactly how you feel! I've got one more baby shower to get through next weekend and then they're all done.

speaking of penis'...I watched the inbetweeners 2 today (weather was too bad to sight see) and I have never seen so many penis'! Once I get my BFP (and I will get my BFP, as will all of you!) I will be happy not to see a penis for a verrrrry long time!)

Ok....so next cycle if I don't have any luck this month I will be trying the SIF CD2-6 Kitty. I'm wary but my ovulation seems to be hit and miss so we'll see.

katy this Web Page helped me when I first started out. To me, it sounds like you have wet cm which is fertile cm and a pre-cursor to EWCM. DTD is this is your body's way of warning you ovulation is around the corner (hopefully!)

Eww quick q just filling in ovia and it says ewcm feels wet, looks clear which mine is but it isn't stretchy to liquid for that is that ewcm? It's not his junk and was fri we dtd?

Cd15 here and have told dh we need to dtd tonight he's being dead gd in the eod plan bless him so fingers crossed have had more dragging feeling today in abdominal and watery cm not ewcm but I guess at least I can track

To be honest jazzy If you have just had cramps it could mean you are ovulating and the OPK won't pickup an LH surge that has happened. It could be implantation pains as well through. Sadly, the best picture you would get is through temping but I fully understand a two year old is not conducive to that

Jazzy if you've got a spare opk lying around I'd probably test and then pounce on your dh if you can too, just in case!

I've not done temping as yet but may start nxt month, the prob i hav is i'm usually woken by my 2 yr old who had usually crept into our bed so never hav the time to temp!
This month i think i ovulated on cd15 (had slight spotting and cramps) .. We dtd 13/14/15/17/18... But now on cd 21 and hav cramps again. Still approx 8 days until i should test (app has af on 18th but my last 3 cycles af has come on 22nd hense why i'm aiming for then). Think i may hav a opk in my draw, do u think its worth seeing if i'm ovulating late like u say?

How is everyone doing? I have been feeling light headed for a few days, but otherwise I'm feeling fine. I think my ovulation is about now, but my DH is absolutely knackered, so I don't think any deeds will be done around here.

Oh, don't panic my lovely. Doctors can be so black and white can't they? If there is one thing I have learnt from the wonderful posters on here, is that you need to fight your corner. Can you practise crying on demand ?! Don't leave the room until you have got what you wanted XXXXX

Our poor thing jazzy -hopefully, you just have a super short LH surge and you keep missing it but it would give you peace of mind that your body isn't trying to ovulate (hence the pains) but failing. I hope it's the former!
BBT temps might help confirm ovulation and could be useful in showing your GP. Do you currently do that?

Thanks for that kitty, i have opked every month since jan (except this month) and never had a peak, but hav felt ov pains weirdly. If i dont catch this month i'm going to opk again nxt month and if still no joy look into fertility aids and may see gp. Never had this problem b4 so trying to get as much info as possible.
