Here is the amazon link:

I've ordered it today as today is 12th month of trying after having AF. Has anyone used it or interested in using it? I like how it works it all out for you as I don't want to spend all that time stressing over learning how to chart myself. You poas when it tells you and insert the stick into the machine and it interprets it for you. Gives you a few high chance days and then the lh surge days. Measures oestrogen and lh. Also can test for pregnancy. You can input when you dtd too and a light and alarm can remind you.

I really like gadgets and technology anyway. If it works I don't care how much it costs. Anyone have any experience with it already? I don't think it's been put long.

Hi all again. So I just received mine today but I'm on CD6 and instructions say you must set it up by day 4? So do I have to wait a whole cycle then? What a pain in the bum!
I guess I'll be back in 3 weeks then! Good luck to you waiting for peak days followed by BFPs!

Joey0805 · 19/10/2014 16:56

Now had 9 days of 'high' and still waiting for a peak...soon I hope!! That small 2nd line hasn't materialised into anything stronger. I'm doing this using FMU and have for a couple of dYs been using Boots OPKs early evening too so I don't miss anything. Wishful thinking!!

Katybear123 · 19/10/2014 14:25

Ah glad wine helped always helps me:-).

I'm on pregtober which is great, the girls who don't get there bfp's there have moved to www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2184494-November-bus-opening-doors-all-aboard-for-BFPs they really are great :-)

NowWhatSoWhat · 19/10/2014 12:22

Thank you, Katy. I had a few glasses of wine last night Smile Smile feeling a bit more positive today. I will look out for a bus to join, that's a good suggestion

Katybear123 · 18/10/2014 20:24

Hey now

I'm sorry ur having a tough time. Ttc is tough there is no 2 ways about it. I don't temp for exactly that reason it would stress me out beyond belief. Have u thought of joining one of the buses? I'm on pregtober thread and boy does it help when ur having s tough time. The ladies r lovely and lots experiencing just the same as us.

Big hugs have a glass of wine tonight earned it x

NowWhatSoWhat · 18/10/2014 08:19

I used to temp but it stressed me out, the temps were all over the place when I didn't sleep well, so I thought the cbfm would be less stressful, more cut and dry. I think I should take it temping again. Feeling very down about it today. If the machine isn't faulty, if the sticks aren't faulty, then maybe......

ttc taking its toll on me, our sex life, and generally it's not fun. Tired of the daily disappointments. Sorry to be so blue but it's one of those days

Katybear123 · 18/10/2014 07:57

Defo is joey. Now what do u temp? That might help to see when ur ovulating?

NowWhatSoWhat · 17/10/2014 19:40

Same as last cycle so far. One day low (cd6) followed by 6 highs so far.
maybe I need to give it a third month.

Joey0805 · 17/10/2014 19:30

Time to get busy haha )

Katybear123 · 17/10/2014 19:26

Hey joey so as u say u aren't suppose to read then, but when I got my highs I had the 2nd line and then at peak I had 2 strong lines. Fingers crossed ur about to ovulate :-)

Joey0805 · 17/10/2014 09:39

I know you aren't supposed to read the sticks but today the 'main' line was a bit paler and there was a small 2nd line that I've not seen before so hoping that might mean something?

Joey0805 · 17/10/2014 09:38

Hi! I am now on my 6th high day after a low on the first day (1st cycle using the monitor) so this is cd13. Before going on the pill my cycles were only 21 days long but my body is still adjusting so I don't really know how long this one will be (last one was 29 days with worlds lightest AF after it). If this cycle is about the same as the last one my peak days should be coming up...

Katybear123 · 17/10/2014 08:45

Hi mama welcome to the gang I really like my monitor hoping for my bfp really soon

Katybear123 · 17/10/2014 08:44

Hi lazy

Hmm I'm not sure on that. This is cycle 2 on cbfm for me. Cycle 1 I had loads of highs then peak then high the lows. Cycle 2 1 high 2 peaks 1 high and then it stopped wanting tests. It only asked me for tests from cd 9-18 this time which I was surprised about as I only got peak cd16 and 17 but hoping it just understands my cycles Grin. I guess only time will

MaMaPo · 17/10/2014 04:45

Just bumping this thread as I ordered one of the new CBFMs yesterday and hope to have it soon enough to use this cycle. I will be back with questions, I bet, when I do start using it.

Good luck everyone!

LazyRohazy · 15/10/2014 14:07

Hello ladies. First time posting to this thread, but I have a CBAFM question and I was wondering whether anyone had any ideas:

This is my second month using it, and I've been TTC my second baby since June 2013 (have had two miscarriages in that time). My cycle has been regular the whole time: 30-31 days long, usually ovulating around CD18 or 19. Last month - my first with the monitor - that's exactly what happened:

Low readings CD6 - CD12
High readings CD13 - CD16
Peak readings CD17 and CD18
High reading CD19
Low reading CD20

I confirmed ovulation through BBT on CD18.

However, this month I've started testing on CD6 as instructed and it's already on High! Am I looking at an abnormally (for me) short cycle, or is this a random glitch? Anyone had a similar experience?

Teakind · 15/10/2014 13:15

Thanks Croon! That's really good to know and congrats on you bfp!

AF is due soon (and I really feel like she is on her way!) but I did get a barely there second line this morning. It's possible I'm just seeing things though! Just a waiting game now I guess.

Joey0805 · 15/10/2014 12:27

'Eventually' being the key word - everything about TTC feels so slow! Thanks though Croon, that makes sense.

croon979 · 15/10/2014 11:59

Joey - in response to your question: "Also if it goes from low to high, does whatever has caused that mean there definitely will be an ovulation that month (vs people who just get low readings the whole month because there is no ovulation)?" - no, it does not definitely mean that and there are no guarantees. However, the fact that the monitor is now reading high suggests that it has detected a rise in estrone which will hopefully eventually trigger the LH surge that occurs prior to ovulation. So by you getting high days after low readings, it is looking good!

croon979 · 15/10/2014 11:54

Hi Teakind - I tried to read the pregnancy sticks. When I first tested and got a bfn, there was no second line The second time I tested, I was convinced when i looked at the stick later on that I could see a v faint second line, but the monitor had said I was not pregnant. I tried a couple of days later and then got my first BFP, the stick had a stronger second line by then. Out of curiosity I tried a pregnancy stick the other day (would have been just over 6 weeks pregnant) and got a very strong thick blue second line. So although they say don't try and read the sticks, you actually can read them.

Teakind · 15/10/2014 11:30

Hi, I hope you get your peaks this month. I also didn't get a peak last month so hoping for one next month!

Do any if you have experience with the pregnancy test sticks they give you? I know they say not to read the sticks but I'm wondering if any of you have had any squinty type second lines on them?

NowWhatSoWhat · 14/10/2014 22:23

Good points, Joey. Here's hoping both of us get peaks this month

Joey0805 · 14/10/2014 19:57

I'm now on day 5 of using it; 1 low and 4 highs. Given I have a short cycle I'm fx for a peak soon...

NowWhat - do u think it asked u to start on day 6 again because it "missed" a peak last month?

Also if it goes from low to high, does whatever has caused that mean there definitely will be an ovulation that month (vs people who just get low readings the whole month because there is no ovulation)?

NowWhatSoWhat · 14/10/2014 17:14

Hey everyone, how are we all doing? Cycle 2 of cbfm has got off to a meh start for me. It asked for tests on Day 6 again, which surprised me as apart from anything else I have a llloooonnng cycle (36 days although last one was 43 days I think)

Anyway, Day 6 low. Day 7, 8 and 9 (today) high. ... So far so exact same as cycle 1 (1 low followed by 19 highs, no peak)

Trying to stay positive! hoping something interesting happens this month

Foxtrot7459 · 12/10/2014 15:51

Hi joey I've never had a low reading on CBFM in two cycles? 1st cycle started on cd6 with a high and second cycle started cd9 as instructed with a high. I think it takes a while to get to know your cycles - I wouldn't worry about getting a high so early.
