Here is the amazon link:

I've ordered it today as today is 12th month of trying after having AF. Has anyone used it or interested in using it? I like how it works it all out for you as I don't want to spend all that time stressing over learning how to chart myself. You poas when it tells you and insert the stick into the machine and it interprets it for you. Gives you a few high chance days and then the lh surge days. Measures oestrogen and lh. Also can test for pregnancy. You can input when you dtd too and a light and alarm can remind you.

I really like gadgets and technology anyway. If it works I don't care how much it costs. Anyone have any experience with it already? I don't think it's been put long.

Hey ladyb I think the monitor calibrates itself to your cycle info so it will be asking for fewer test sticks, with the ones it does ask for centred around the time you ovulate- should save you some £££ on sticks Wink

How is everyone else getting on? I am well into the 2ww now and manically symptom spotting, have had some cramping and this am woke up with weird acne over my chin and lower face-almost like pinprick/heat rash....fingers xd, although after convincing myself I am preform and being wrong for 8 months in a row who knows Confused

Hi all, I've been busy so been unable to go on here. Just a quick message to say that AF arrived late on Saturday :( on to a new cycle though, but I think I may go to the GP to see if that can give me any answers as it's really bringing me down each month now.

2nd cycle it's asking for tests starting day 7, but I'm sure that it askes for tests on day 6 last time.

Got another peak today and my only worry is I've gone from low to peak with no highs and monitor seems to be in tune with timings I've used before! Stupidly I kind of hoped it would give me highs/peaks at a different time to precious months as then I thought I might stand a better chance of a BFP this month. Time will tell x

Katybear123 · 25/08/2014 18:47

Hey Lucy, I'm hoping to join u guys soon on cd30 here cycles r a mess since coming off pill! Will watch with interest to see what happens for u all.

Were any of u recently on pill?

lucygooo · 25/08/2014 14:51

Hi all can I join this thread too? Just started using my CBFM this cycle, I'm on day 9 and got my first high yesterday which was unexpected and exciting! Especially as I had told DH it would be a few more days before he would be called upon to dtd :) My fertility app that I had been using before says my fertile period wouldn't start until CD13 so the CBFM is already giving me some quite different results, I'm really hoping it will do the trick!

newbie6 · 24/08/2014 19:40

Thank you! It's my first month using it so will see what happens! x

chundercatsarego · 24/08/2014 17:15

Wow, terrible spelling! Sorry! Sure you get my drift though Grin

chundercatsarego · 24/08/2014 17:13

I think it must vary newbie, as most of the posters on here day you get 4 highs followed by 2 peaks then it sols asking for tests and automatically days high. ... but I got 1 high, 2 peaks followed by 1 high then 2 lows and it has only just stopped asking for tests. .. maybe it'll straighten out next month, or maybe I have a short luteal surge...

newbie6 · 24/08/2014 15:06

Hi

Got my peak today so it seems to have gone from low to peak straight away, is that normal as I thought you got a high before a peak?

Thanks

X

Mel3062 · 24/08/2014 13:47

Fingers crossed fox trot. Af for me today and only stopped cyclogest last night so that was quick though monitor predicted it today. Hope I can still get fsh test done day 4!

Foxtrot7459 · 24/08/2014 13:28

CD10 for me and it's a high reading but it's been high since first day of testing on cd6. Hopefully I will peak in the next few days. Dtd every other day so fingers crossed!

chundercatsarego · 24/08/2014 12:14

How did you get on ladyb did AF show?

How about everyone else? Anyone got a peak yet?

Mel3062 · 22/08/2014 16:22

It's good that you've got discharge it's personal preference I guess. If it were me I'd prob start tomorrow when get high but that's only as oh gets worn out but if you can manage today start now just in case ;)

newbie6 · 22/08/2014 15:42

Quick question, got another low today from monitor but have got EWCM today so do I DTD tonight or do I wait until monitor gives me a high reading or ideally a peak???

First month of using it so not sure what to do?

Thanks all and congrats to the BFP's!!

X

Mel3062 · 22/08/2014 14:58

Ladyboluna sorry about the bfn but you did make me smile!
Great to see you can get peak on first month
Incacola huge congrats that's great news!
Ff changed my af and ovulation today... Annoying but I think the monitor is more reliable so guess I'll have to poas soon.
Just found out a work mate is preg without even trying grrr

Foxtrot7459 · 22/08/2014 08:21

Congratulations Incacola

CD 8 for me today and third day using monitor and third high reading. Not dtd yet as not convinced with the monitors results which is stupid I know!

On cd6 there were definitely two lines One darker than other and I got a high. The last two days just one line is visable not even a hint of a second and still getting high readings.

Once you get one high result - will the monitor continually give you high readings until you reach a peak or 10 sticks? This is why I'm not convinced.

Incacola · 22/08/2014 08:01

So, erm, having paid out for a CBFM about 2 weeks ago I just POAS and got a BFP!Grin We're not completely relaxed as I had an early mc earlier this year but excited nonetheless!

I guess my CBFM will have to go away in the attic until we're ready to ttc#3! Good luck ladies

Whatamuddleduck · 22/08/2014 07:47

Peak! Got my first peak! Hurry home DP!

Whatamuddleduck · 21/08/2014 23:28

Hi all, I'm in my first month using cbfm and got my second high today. DP is home for a long weekend from tomorrow afternoon- poor man is going to find a me desperate to dtd. I should really work late but bollocks to it, I'm getting home early and getting started! Unfortunately I suspect that this approach may well freak DP out. Especially since like Chunder we had been a week out and dtd a lot to early, second weekend in a row of demanding lots of dtd poor man x

newbie6 · 21/08/2014 22:43

Hi all.

Good luck ladyb! I'm on CD 10 and first month using the CBFM, cycle 5 for us so praying this is our month! Am still getting lows but think I should get highs soon and them hopefully a peak! My phone apps are saying I'm fertile now but have decided to go with the monitor this month and see what happens! I use 2 apps and one says I'm fertile now and the other says I will be fertile come Sunday so too confusing given I put the same info into both apps! Ohhhh, so want to be preggars this month! Good luck ladies x

chundercatsarego · 21/08/2014 22:38

FX Af doesn't show ladyb....where is everyone else in their cycle? I got my second peak today but dh is away, so that's it for this month

Ladyboluna · 21/08/2014 18:15

april - Good for you

chunder I POAS today, used one of the pregnancy tests - was negative, and accidently wasted one by cutting the end of the strip off :( and probably shouldn't have used the other one as it was only a few hours before that I last had a wee.

According to CBFM my AF is due in 3 days but usually it would happen tomorrow. Don't think this month is ours but ah well.

aprilj11 · 21/08/2014 10:54

I actually used a fertility monitor called Cyclotest and was really happy with it. Its does not use test strips at all, instead it uses BBT. Take my temperature every morning, also input cervical mucus observations.

I choose it over the Clearblue even though it is way less fancy looking because I was not crazy about shelling out money on test strips on top of the actual monitor.

Mel3062 · 21/08/2014 09:59

Aw great news on the highs :)
Any news katybear ? Fingers crossed
I'm on countdown too af due Saturday :/

chundercatsarego · 20/08/2014 21:10

You tell when you're gonna test and we all wait on the thread while you do it and report back...it's a mumsnet 'thing' I think Smile
