It feels so nice getting dressed up together for a night out. DH looks fab! If I didn't know him I would want him!

He says he is going to 'throw a few shapes' on the dancefloor. Oh God!

See you all later.

LuluJakey1 · 26/07/2014 18:48

He just laughed when he saw it and agreed it was a more stylish choice.

I have had my hair cut really short as well- about 4 inches off it. My friend comes round and cuts it and she was a bit shocked when I showed her the photo of the style because it was so short.

But I love it. It feels really cool in this heat and I feel younger with it like this. So easy to look after too.

Have attached photo- not of me but of the one I showed my friend that I wanted it cut like. Wish I looked like this but my hair does. DH thinks it is great.

I say go for it lulu your dress sounds lovely.

P.s. hope DH approves of his outfit swap Smile

LuluJakey1 · 26/07/2014 18:21

Not particularly now we've told people. I just feel a bit self- conscious as if I am emphasising it. DH would like the world to know now.

[whispers] He has got his outfit out and gone in the shower.- hideous red flowered shirt and olive green cotton trousers. I have changed the shirt for a navy blue one and trousers for fitted navy blue chinos and got his smart silvery grey linen jacket out. We'll see what he says. please don't let him insist on his choice

Ducky23 · 26/07/2014 18:13

X post, in my opinion lulu, eff everyone else Smile let them stare!!! I've found out that they will stare, so best get used to it! Ha Grin

Ducky23 · 26/07/2014 18:12

How long is your cycle usually Iam?

Lulu, are you wanting to keep the pregnancy hidden? If you are you probably won't be able to hide it for much longer! There's no bloody hiding mine any more Blush I'm huuugggee!

LuluJakey1 · 26/07/2014 18:11

17 weeks and so far it has been no problem to disguise it. In the last week it seems much more noticeable. We told people yesterday so it's not like it's a secret.

But I have never been pregnant before and it feels a bit odd to think of people looking at my bump. I am not skinny naturally and am worrying people will just think I am fatter than usual- I am quite self- conscious with other people.

DH's view is celebrate the bump and wear the dress while I can he would say I looked good in a sack, he has no dress sense

iamdivergent · 26/07/2014 18:03

hm weeks are you lulu?

I'm actually on cd30 Confused just noticed on my app!

LuluJakey1 · 26/07/2014 17:57

We are going to a wedding do tonight and I've got a new dress. It's a sort of sea green lace with the same coloured lining, sits just on the knee, and has a matching chiffony wrap thing that has a scattering of tiny raspberry pink buds. I love it.

But it is emphasises the bump. There is no disguising it. DH says why should I try to hide it but I feel a bit conspicuous. First time it will be noticeable.

Or should I wear something else?

iamdivergent · 26/07/2014 17:38

Cd29 today, still no af. not testing again though, will give til Friday and if still no af I will test again. Spotty as hell and sore boobs so somethings going on somewhere hormone wise! This heat isn't helping I'm not sleeping grrrrrrr. looking forward to using the cb stuff, will be good to use the opk's and see if/when I am actually ov-ing! Smile

Oh I don't miss ms at all; I had hyperemesis (sp) and was in hospital on drip for 3 days with it, I got an early (8+4) scan as they suspected multiple as I was so ill! was just the one and she's 6 now Grin I weighed same at term as I did pre pg with dd2 as I lost so much weight. I've put it all and more back on now though Sad bmi is still within normal limits tho.

iamdivergent · 26/07/2014 17:32

bradders85 · 26/07/2014 17:00

Ducky23 · 26/07/2014 16:35

poppet85 · 26/07/2014 14:59

LuluJakey1 · 26/07/2014 14:22

You do get sick of it don't you. We have had a bit of a week of it being on holiday and I have had enough.

Not going near DH 's bits for the next few days.

21questions · 26/07/2014 14:18

Thanks ducky and lulu every other day sounds good to me Grin

Haha ducky no way every day, gives me hope though that you concieved with an irregular cycle its something that has been worrying me.

LuluJakey1 · 26/07/2014 14:07

21, I have read the same as Ducky. But my BFP was a surprise so I can't really remember what we did.

Ducky23 · 26/07/2014 13:57

We did every other day 21 Grin I've read that that is best as it gives him time to rebuild reservesWink I have a very irregular cycle that could sometimes hit the 60 day mark, no way could I do it every day Haha Grin

21questions · 26/07/2014 13:47

Great news about the line getting darker cupcake although sorry about the morning sickness.

Hope you get sorted soon and settled Tori although it will be worth it in the end.

Sorry AF put in a late appearance popple but at least you know where you are now. Good luck for next cycle.

So how often do you think me and dh should be dtd, every day or every other day? Because my cycles are irregular I could be fertile between days 6-14. I dont know if we will have the energy for every day Blush

Ducky23 · 26/07/2014 13:44

Hahah I did that cupcake! Have a bag full of tests! Even the midwife said she'd never seen that many BlushBlushBlush haha

Cupcake92 · 26/07/2014 13:29

Aw that's good he's helping Tori :)

I can't help but poas everyday. I feel I have to keep checking I'm pregnant! But today the line has finally gotten a lot darker! :D
