Cd 12 for me and I'm mid dtd marathon. I have a short cycle so think I already ovulated not sure tho really Confused

So we are covering days 6-16 to be sure. Dh is getting a bit weary Grin He started off enthusiastically. I`m calculating all the dates etc. AF due 16th latest but probably earlier so will test then if she has not arrived.

I agree siarie it is a bit information overload. When i concieved dd I was oblivious. I didnt even realise I was pregnant until I was about 9 weeks.

Bearsinmotion · 01/08/2014 15:36

I can't drink coffee now because it makes me feel sick. I normally have lovely flavoured coffee but I just can't drink it. Chocolate is the same Shock

poppet85 · 01/08/2014 14:21

Siarie Ive said the same I reckon we know to much dr google is not good !!

Cupcake92 · 01/08/2014 14:13

I talked to the pharmacist and there's these travel bands u put on ur wrist to help with sickness. She recommended them so may give them a try.

Siarie · 01/08/2014 13:04

I like coffee too much so I've just picked up decaf beans for the machine instead. I only had the odd one at a coffee shop now and then now :)

Waiting for my fertile days is tedious but at least I am much more relaxed this time, not over thinking things and spend every moment researching online. I think perhaps we have to much information these days, things must have been a lot easier back when you couldn't find all the bad things that happen on the internet.

Oh well CD9 today! Iamdivergent If those pills work maybe you should try them cupcake?

Tylastar · 01/08/2014 11:52

Oh no! Hopefully it'll just last a few weeks and not till 12 weeks. You tried all the voodoo stuff lol chew some gum or suck a mint? These are tips I've been told for when the inevitable happens.

Cupcake92 · 01/08/2014 11:40

Yes.... Very early morning sickness!! I'm only 5+1 weeks :( I really don't want this till 12 weeks hope it' goes!

Tylastar · 01/08/2014 10:47

I love tea as well though so I'm good. Do you have really early morning sickness? How many weeks are you?

Cupcake92 · 01/08/2014 10:42

Tyla I could never cut coffee out :( its so yummy! But I've cut down dramatically now. Only one cup a day. I used to have about 4 haha!
And I'm alright at the moment thanks :) but that's cuz I've not eaten yet. Lunch is being prepped for the old folks atm so I'm staying away from the kitchen. But I'll have to eat something on lunch break :(

Tylastar · 01/08/2014 10:25

Cupcake, I'm dreading having ms, I hope you're doing okay.

Tylastar · 01/08/2014 10:20

I think I'm just being impatient! I'm just going to wait and see what happens. I'm only in cycle 2 really so I need to calm it.
The next week will suck.

Also DP has cut me off from coffee now, I think he's really getting committed which is nice but annoying. Lol.

Cupcake92 · 01/08/2014 08:57

If it was me id test everyday haha!
I still do the odd pregnancy test just to make sure I'm right lol

I'm already having a horrible day. Trying to get insurance for this new car is so hard haha. And DS is being a pain! And Ms has well and truly kicked in for me :(
Ah well!

Ducky23 · 01/08/2014 06:48

Hope your feeling better cupcake.

I have awful insomnia Confused

Tyla most people ov 14 days before AF, have you been tracking ov? You may be able to test Grin I think it differs for everyone Grin

Me624 · 01/08/2014 06:38

It's hard tyla! I've decided that a no testing policy works for me - I won't test unless AF is late. So far (I'm on cycle 4) it's been on time or early every time so I haven't tested. On cycle 1 i didn't know how long my cycle was going to be so I tested loads and got loads of bfns. I prefer this way to the disappointment of the bfns. But lots of ladies test early, just see what works for you!

Tylastar · 01/08/2014 00:11

How long should I wait before I test?
My ovulation is at it's peak really close to the end of AF so I've got 3 weeks in between. (Now on 1 week left)
I'm probably being impatient haha. Should I just wait for AF to appear/not appear?

Me624 · 31/07/2014 23:33

Welcome cp and tyla!

So far DH is cooperating with the dtd marathon ... fingers crossed for this month. One of my good friends just announced today that she is 9 weeks pregnant with her DC2. Really happy for her but would love to be joining her with my #1! We haven't told friends we are ttc but just really hoping i don't have to wait too much longer for my bfp.

CP1299 · 31/07/2014 23:32

Cupcake you are right. It would be a tight fit especially with the 3 door.

My A1 may be too small but I don't have one child as yet!! Got the 5 door so it will hopefully be ok with 1 little person.

I hope you feel better. I know it is not really consolation when you feel so terrible but the end result will be worth it :-)

CP1299 · 31/07/2014 23:30

Ducky I don't have any pregnancy tests!! Haha.
Not really expecting a BFP really and think AF may show early next week around day 28 to 30 like my pre mirena cycles.
If no AF by end of next week then I will buy some!!

21questions · 31/07/2014 23:14

Aw cupcake hope you get some rest tonight. Ms is the pits

Cupcake92 · 31/07/2014 23:00

That's it. I'm not eating ever again!! :( this is awful!
Everytime I eat I'm feelin so sick now and I just threw up all my dinner.
:( oh gosh I hate ms so much!
Desperate to go to bed but I think sitting by the loo is probably the best idea at the moment. Whoever named it 'morning sickness' is just plain stupid. It's not morning it's practically any time of the day sickness! :(

Cupcake92 · 31/07/2014 21:53

Cp I like my aygo for petrol and cost but it's so so so small. It's hard to fit DS in and his pram and then try to fit shopping on the back seat haha. It was perfect when it was just me! :p but Aygos and children really don't mix! I can't imagine having 2 children in it! :O but just brought this scenic and it's very spacious :) but I've gone from a little 1 litre to a 1.6!

Ducky23 · 31/07/2014 21:48

I am completely unable to park so hae to have a small car haha Grin

When are you testing cp?

CP1299 · 31/07/2014 21:43

Cupcake my first car was a 5 door aygo. I only learned how to drive a manual car a few years ago as they are not popular in the Caribbean. Although I loved my little aygo the manual was too much for me. I upgraded to a little automatic A1 in nov (encouraged by DH) but I do miss my Aygo!! It could fit anywhere, was easy to park and was so wonderfully cheap to run :-) I would probably still have an aygo if I had just bought an automatic from the start.

CP1299 · 31/07/2014 21:36

Thank you iamdivergent. I have been lurking for a month but finally got the courage to post.

CP1299 · 31/07/2014 21:35

Thanks Ducky. I have been feeling as though AF should be here since Monday night with mild cramps but nothing (based on my last cycle during which mirena was removed it was just 24 days which means AF should arrive today).
I have been feeling extremely gassy and bloated though which is unusual for me. It is so bad that even DH noticed when he was home yesterday. So Embarrassing!!

Before the mirena my cycle was about 28 to 30 days so I may just be reverting to normal. Well except for the gas!!
