Fingers crossed for you too mac try and stay positive. I really hope this works out for you Thanks

My dh said the same me he feels under pressure so Im trying to be not to be full on with the baby talk and just keep it fun instead of a chore. One more time of the dtd marathon for us although I feel like af is due to arrive any day soon and Im only on cd 14. But I did have a 17 day cycle last month so not sure what's going on Confused

Cupcake92 · 03/08/2014 11:15

Keeping my fx for u Mac Thanks

And good luck to those about to start the tww! :)

Poppet, I bet it's been lovely telling everyone the news! :) I reckon that's the best bit. Can't wait to tell everyone myself but I have a long long time to go. Won't be having scan till around September 15th :(

Me624 · 03/08/2014 10:23

Ah poppet that's nice, I bet the telling everyone is one of the best bits. If and when I ever get my bfp, our parents will be rejoicing I think as we've been married almost 3 years! I think a lot of people were expecting us to start ttc sooner but I was only 24 when we got married and have been focusing on my career!

poppet85 · 03/08/2014 10:05

Ah mac sounds like you've got a great dr ! Fx crossed for you . Theres loads of stories of ladies that have had a bleed and its been fine . I had cramps around 5/6 weeks as well .
Had a lovely weekend of telling everyone and went for lunch yesterday with both lots of parents . First thing mil says was 'you didnt take much time!' As we got married in august , I felt like saying 'it felt like forever!' . She then wanted to see my bump which is currently a bit hairy not like in the movies !!

iamdivergent · 03/08/2014 10:00

We average 3/4 times a week normally but DH would go a couple times a day if I cba! Shock so he is enjoying the trying. he's not spoken about the actual baby part though obviously he knows we are ttc Grin

Thanks mac, I hope you get some positive news.

One more day of the dtd marathon for DH and me. He promised to try properly this month and we've done it every day but one in my fertile window. The day we didn't, we had a bit of an argument but talked about it the next day and he said he's feeling a lot of pressure to perform and he totally didn't expect to feel this way! I felt a bit bad really as I've just been expecting him to get on with it and never really thought about men feeling the pressure. He can have a bit of a break after tomorrow on the 2ww! I've got loads on the next couple of weeks so I'll be kept nice and busy and distracted from the wait.

Ducky23 · 03/08/2014 08:15

really hope it isn't a mc Confused

With dd, as soon as the pp bleeding stopped me and DH stArted to try again. Apparently after pregnancy is when your most fertile though, I think that's why it happened so quickly for us

macmissy · 03/08/2014 08:09

oh I see Ducky, I'm still going to the doctors on the 13th anyway, when I'll be able to go for a scan. Trying with all of my might to stay positive!

my OH asked when we should start trying again if I have MC. I said straight away, not tarnished by my silly body!

Cupcake92 · 03/08/2014 08:03

Oh my gosh Iam!!
I hope my ms doesn't last the whole pregnancy :O

iamdivergent · 03/08/2014 07:56

Ms for me was he'll ish. With dd1 it was manageable with the travel sickness bands and eating lots of small meals though I was on and off sick till 20 wks. dd2 I was sick from about 7wks or so until the end! with a three night stay in hosp on a drip! The pills do help, I was on either 6 or 8 a day I think?

((mac)) Thanks

I'm so amazed at how strong and amazing u women are! Inspiration for sure :)
Mac ur so brave. But I'm glad u kept ur wedding dress appointment :) I bet that was exciting ! And nice of ur OH to cheer u up.
I've not thought about keeping biscuits by my bed, ill have to try that. I've got ginger nuts in the cuboard ! :p

Ooo here's a goal for everybody..... Have a spa day!! :)
At my local spa there's these heated sun loungers n they are amazing, I like having a snooze for half hour on them :p hehe

Ducky23 · 03/08/2014 07:32

Really hope everything is ok for you mac x

The reason I thought you shouldn't re test was if something did Happen, you could still get positive tests for a few weeks.

Cupcake, what a little bugger!!!! Grin

macmissy · 03/08/2014 07:19

poppet, my OH has been amazing. he gave me my anniversary pressie early to cheer me up, I went for my hair done yesterday so that felt amazing & I didn't cancel my first wedding dress appointment - so I got to try on 9 beautiful dresses (even though I was petrified of leaking!) but I didn't Grin

macmissy · 03/08/2014 07:16

cupcake that little tinker of a DS! have you tried keeping a packet of biscuits next to your bed to have when you wake up at 5? it might help?

macmissy · 03/08/2014 07:14

morning lovelies, thank you for all your messages. I'm 5 weeks, there isn't anything they can do until after 6 which is why he said to test again. I adore my doctor, he's thorough and I trust him impeccably (in fact I won't go and see anyone else because he's so good)

I've kept my appointment on the 13th which is when we'll either get sent for a scan or we'll talk about MC in more detail as its my 3rd.

CP1299 · 03/08/2014 04:40

Thanks Tylastar and Ducky
Will try again on Monday using fmu. I always thought that it should be fmu but the test said anytime or else I would have waited until tomorrow morning and not wasted one today.

Not drinking very much but loads of trips to the loo to wee. This really is the strangest cycle I have ever had!! My first one post mirena had none of this!!

Taking my burpy self off to bed now. Good night to everyone.

Ms sickness isn't great atm :( I'm eating little and often but feel really sick after eating. 5am seems to be ms time l always wake up then feeling really nauseous.
But yeah ur right I need to be careful with DS kicking as weeks go on. Don't know what's got into him he's just suddenly become so naughty. Think he knows it's his birthday soon and he'll become a toddler so he's just practising his toddler behaviour now hahaa.
I am so glad to be in bed tho. Isn't bed lovely? I love bed so so much ??

Ducky23 · 02/08/2014 22:18

Aww cupcakeHmmHmm how's the ms been?
Baby should still be behind your pubic bone at this stage so don't think ds would have harmed it, you will need to be careful as the weeks go on though. You should be ok to lift him though as long as you lift him properly so don't pull anything Wink
I know what you mean about looking 5 months! I was so bloated at te start it was crazy!

Cupcake92 · 02/08/2014 22:07

Tyla could be implantation? Or just normal cramps I got them often throughout my cycle.

I am exhausted today. DS has turned into the Devil child and has been so naughty today and past couple of days. I'm forever picking him up and moving him etc etc he's kicking me and keeps getting my belly. I'm terrified that all this stress and heavy lifting and kicks are going to harm the baby :( :( :( :( I've just cried literally all day I can't help myself. I'm just worried :(

And I'm so bloated I look about 5 months pregnant already!

Tylastar · 02/08/2014 21:42

I felt a bit off a few days ago and thought I was coming down with something but been fine until the pains today.

Trying not to think it's implantation Ducky but it's hard not to think about it!

CP, fingers crossed for you!

Ducky23 · 02/08/2014 21:31

No idea Tyla! Could it be implantation?

Cp, maybe hold off until Monday if you got a negative today, if you can Wink and use fmu Smile

Hope things have improved for you mac, fingers crossed the bleeding stops and there's no cramps, have been thinking of you x

CP1299 · 02/08/2014 21:27

So sorry Mac.
I managed to get a test and used clearblue digital tonight and it said negative. Still feeling weird, no AF so 3 days late, gassy and bloated for 6 days, feel like AF coming on for the last 6 days but it hasn't and sore nipples. What on earth is going on I don't know. Might use a second test tomorrow morning but otherwise I shall just have to wait.

21questions · 02/08/2014 21:15

Im the same tyla. Both my sides are aching like in my hips. But I have had a bit of an upset stomach so it may just be that and my overactive mind thinking its related to ttc.

Tylastar · 02/08/2014 19:36

Good evening ladies. Hope you're all doing okay!

Quick question time. I thought I'd already ovulated this month but I've had cramps today on the left side so I'm a bit confused. I don't normally get any cramps mid cycle should I be worried?
