But don't worry about today scan. Enjoy seeing ur little boy :) what time is it at?

And no he's not normally a very early riser he usually sleeps till 7:30/8am but recently it's been 5/6am! :O
He's sat here eating a biscuit hahaa

Ducky23 · 05/08/2014 07:17

Cupcake I had insomnia this morning and real bad hip pain ConfusedConfused

How is everyone today?

Have my 20 week scan today, terrified isn't the word. I have felt him moving about this morning and no abnormalities were picked up at my scan 3 weeks ago (by a really highly recommended sonogropher) but I'm still petrified they will find something wrong Confused

I think after this scan my fortnightly scans start ConfusedConfusedConfused scary stuff

21questions · 05/08/2014 07:15

Morning just reading your post I could fancy some pastries right now lulu

I dreamt I had a baby girl last night she was so beautiful. Is it a sign haha way tooooo early for symptom spotting!

Aw cupcake bless you is he always an early riser.

Cupcake92 · 05/08/2014 06:40

Sounds delicious lulu!! :D yum yum!

I'm starting to really struggle to get up in the mornings. I'm so exhausted all the time. Be nice if DS had a lie in lol

LuluJakey1 · 04/08/2014 23:13

mac I don't have much shape, I am pretty straight up and down so the dress was a good style for me.I don't have big boobs or a big bum or much of a waist. At 30, I didn't want something fussy. For some reason, I thought I would be able to wear it again- I never have. I have considered dying it.

cupcake Ginger biscuits and ginger tea definitely helped me. Paris was lovely but very expensive and we are now broke for the next 3 weeks until we get paid. Worth it though. I ate pastries like there was no tomorrow. Lovely apple and creme patisserie things and chocolate creme patisserie and strawberry, I just could not resist. Walked it all off I think. My legs are aching.

Cupcake92 · 04/08/2014 22:20

Lulu I'm glad u had a great time In Paris I'm so jealous!!!!!
And yeah I have some ginger biscuits which help if I sit and nibble them :)
I love all these wedding dresses! I like the puffy ones like a princess :p hehe!

bradders85 · 04/08/2014 21:25

sorry to hear your news mac, hope you are ok. xxx

macmissy · 04/08/2014 21:18

Lulu I'm very jealous, I'd love to do Paris! Steph where did you go in Italy? that's where we want to go honeymooning!

THAT dress! it's lush Grin

ducky I don't know if it's the style out what, I will just try on tons and see what happens!

love the idea of using bits of it for other things. I really want to be able to detach the skirt as i've seen a lovely skirt and top combo which I would have to change slightly as the style of it doesn't suit me at all, the waist is too high as it is.

Me - not sure as yet. I had a MC 14 years ago, then 10 year ago (both accidents) this is my first whilst actually trying. I'm at the doctors on the 14th so I'll find out then.

I don't think I'm going to have a veil to be honest. I have my shoes already! haha!

oh Ducky! get drinking ginger tea or eating a biscuit! stat!!

sorry about the jumping about in my post, it's all over the place! haha

Siarie · 04/08/2014 21:15

Sorry to hear about the MC mac, it sucks but I'm sure you'll get your sticky bean.

I think I'm near ovulation as I got some EWCM this evening and a headache which I got two days before ovulation, one day before really EWCM last month. So hopefully I'll be in my two week wait by the end of this week.

My book came today so I'm slowly making my way through that :)

LuluJakey1 · 04/08/2014 20:56

Hello Cupcake. I was hoping the sickness had gone for good. Sad Hope it stops soon. Mine stopped quite quickly. Does anything help?

Cupcake92 · 04/08/2014 20:35

I spoke way too soon about the sickness. It's back!
Been feeling very nauseous all afternoon and have a bad lower back to go with it.
I don't know why I get bad back so early in pregnancy :s it happened with DS as well I had it till about 9/10 weeks then it went and came back at the end lol :p

Ducky23 · 04/08/2014 20:17

I think it's 3 in a row and they will look? But surely you could push your gp if they say no?

Tbh, when I had dd, I found them very heartless and it was like they weren't bothered about finding a reason for it. I have had to fight for extra care but with enough you will get what you want. I hope they treat you better mac.

I have heard you are extra fertile after a loss or birth, really hope it happens quickly for you.

Could you speak to your gp about possibly taking aspirin once you are pg? I heard that this can help with reoccurring miscarriages, don't take my word though obviously I am not a dr! I am on aspirin at the mo.

LuluJakey1 · 04/08/2014 20:04

mac Do they try to find out why it has happened once you have had more than one MC in a row? Have they all been early? You are amazingly strong I think. Good luck for next time.

Hi Steph, I ate loads too but I reckon all the walking will have balanced the patisserie visits out. I didn't have cheeses unless they were pasteurised 'cos I just wasn't sure but it killed me to not eat them. The ice cream- I was such a greedy guts. I will face the scales in the morning.

It seems like a long time ago already.

Me624 · 04/08/2014 19:26

Sorry to hear your news mac. Is there anything the doctors can do to try and prevent it happening again? Fingers crossed for you next month.

I loved wedding dress shopping! Though had a very specifi idea in mind of what I wanted so I didn't try that many on as lots didn't fit my ideal. I remember the first time I tried on a veil, having thought I wouldn't want one ... I was like oh I'm a Disney princess! Definitely having one ...

steph1204 · 04/08/2014 19:11

Hi ladies!

That's a lovely idea Poppet.

Mine was made by my best friend. I bought the lace in a market in France for a pittance. It was based on this and she did a fantastic job. It was quite simple- no corseting, frills or flounces or anything. No veil, train or beads or anything. Sleeves were slighty longer and fitted- elbow length. It is still in the wardrobe. Cost less than £200. SIL has asked if she can wear it if she ever gets married Grin
