Thanks for the info Ducky Smile will find out if I can get some.
Cupcake, I think it sounds positive too Thanks I think it's a good idea to wait for the scan as well, they probably wouldn't be able to see enough if a change after a week.

21questions · 15/08/2014 22:13

Cupcake it all sounds positive that things will be ok for you. Never give up hope Flowers

Sorry you got bfn me but as everyone else says you're not out until af arrives I still have my fingers crossed for you.

Congratulations to the ladies who got their bfps today

Cupcake92 · 15/08/2014 21:28

I know Grin
Just gonna keep positive that I'll see my little bean growing :)
Plus if it doesn't happen, my mom is fully by my side and said I should try straight away!
But as I say I'm keeping positive :) :)

Ducky23 · 15/08/2014 21:25

I'm no expert but from the hours and hours of research I did (haha) that wouldn't happen if baby wasn't ok GrinGrinGrin. Looking super positive cupcake!!!

Cupcake92 · 15/08/2014 21:19

I drive myself crazy lol just did a pregnancy test. And it's super dark. Darker than the one I literally took a couple of days ago.
Just being silly lol!

Cupcake92 · 15/08/2014 20:28

I know Ducky that's what I was thinking :)

And lulu yes DH is still being nice so far! Lol
That's awful having a child in a car with no insurance. People like that are so silly. I'm glad u reported her tho!

I love musical instruments :) I play the drums haha. Started at school. Tho I don't play now!

LuluJakey1 · 15/08/2014 20:18

We have lots of musical instruments- a guitar, a tambourine (full size), a mouth organ, maracas, bongos and an accordian. We can't play any of them although DH thinks he can play guitar and mouth organ but it is painful. Grin

LuluJakey1 · 15/08/2014 20:15

Not a drum kit, just a drum, a small one. now realises it could have been worse

LuluJakey1 · 15/08/2014 20:13

Keep your spirits up Cupcake and try not to worry. Is DH still being nice?

I hope there was CCTV and they get them. You could claim for the damage to your car as well as your injuries and any loss of earnings. It's an awful thing to do to drive away from an accident. Mind you, they probably haven't got insurance.

That is what happened to us in Sainsbury's car park a few years ago. A woman reversed into our car quickly because she just did not look as she reversed. Was very apologetic. Swopped bits of paper with car details, addresses, names, phone numbers. I told our insurance company. A few weeks later I got a letter saying she had given me false details in the address and car reg. I rang the phone number and a girl answered. I explained who I was - she was about 16 and had been in the car with her mum. I said I just needed their address and number plate and she gave me it- different to the details her mum had written down.

Then the mother rang a bit later and explained. Turned out the car had no insurance. She asked me to change the car details with the insurance company and say it had been their other car which was insured. I said no, I was not going to lie and commit fraud and reported it to the insurance company. She was not very happy. The insurance company followed it up with the police. I don't know what happened.

She was driving her own child around in an uninsured car.

Ducky23 · 15/08/2014 20:09

Fingers crossed me! Your not out yet I didt get mine until day after AF was due and it was v v v faint then! Wink

Michelle how exciting! Grin I always say use a fr I love them!

Cupcake you wouldn't be gaining symptoms if somethig was up with baby! Good signs!!! Grin

Lulu, a drum kit!?!? Your going to have a headache! DH can practice on it to teach him Grin pictures a full grown man sitting at a child's drum kit

Me624 · 15/08/2014 19:59

I know I'm not technically out yet but it should be showing by now if I was! I should have waited and not tested! Ah well

LuluJakey1 · 15/08/2014 19:58

DH has come in tonight with a drum. He was walking through the village after buying some milk and in the music shop saw a little drum. Thought it would be just the thing for the baby. Is he totally mad? He said it was that or a small tambourine. or perhaps he could have not bought a musical instrument for a baby that isn't due until 4th January

Cupcake92 · 15/08/2014 19:47

Not out till AF shows Me :) fx!

And thanks Michelle :) how exciting about ur bfp! Congrats!

My boobs are aching so bad tonight. Must be a good sign lol!

Michelle51012 · 15/08/2014 18:49

Thanks everyone, just read back what happened to u cupcake hope everything goes ok for u, fx for u me, I done a different brand test I had in the drawer when I got in from work (couldn't help myself) & got another faint positive, I bought another 2 pack of the superdrug ones as they're ment to be really sensitive so take 1 in morning with first pee hopefully get a stronger result

Me624 · 15/08/2014 18:34

DH convinced me to POAS when I got home from work ... bfn. No AF yet, so we'll see, but I'm probably out for this month.

Cupcake92 · 15/08/2014 17:45

Oo I don't know :s
Think ill just wait till the 2 weeks. Then if it is growing it should have grown enough to see heartbeat :)

Ducky23 · 15/08/2014 17:26

I'm nt too sure cupcake but I thought they usual rescan after a week to check growth? (Only think that based on reading threads on here)

Hopefully the pain going is a good sign

Cupcake92 · 15/08/2014 17:23

Pain went after about 5 mins. Think I'm just worrying too much. I did report them to the police and they are going to check if there is any CCTV around that point.
I hope there is! I've been told that I should claim compensation as I've been injured. But obv I need to know who did it.
If I booked a private scan for end of next week would much have grown in a week?

Ducky23 · 15/08/2014 17:06

I have no idea if it works cus I didn't take it in the end but I just looked and it was called cyclizine 50mg

lillamyy1 · 15/08/2014 16:57

What's the stuff you got called? Been trying to research but can only find info about drugs in the US.

Ducky23 · 15/08/2014 16:00

Maybe speak to a pharmacist lil? I got some and I wasn't actually being sick, they said they also stop nausea Smile

lillamyy1 · 15/08/2014 15:55

Just spoke to doc on phone but said they can't prescribe unless I'm actually being sick. As it is, I just feel like being sick but haven't been yet. Eurgh. Have read that pyridoxine is good for morning sickness though and have some of that left from treating pmt so going to give it a go...

Ducky23 · 15/08/2014 15:51

Wow the thread has moved fast today Grin

Ducky23 · 15/08/2014 15:51
