We've had a few BFPs so far this month but we want (and deserve) more! One last thread to finish off July in style!

Good morning all - so 12 DPO here, AF due on Thurs. PIAC this morning and did the Superdrug test. Only got a BFP!!! I am in shock as I really did not expect it! It's not a really dark line but it's obviously visible. Still, I am nervous now to see that it sticks, but will have to see GP early as I have an underactive thyroid. Excited but nervous, and massively in shock!!

Apologies for totally selfish post!

cinnamongreyhound · 29/07/2014 07:28

Poxy crap mobile internet signal! Page loads while in typing and then posts!!

Anyway... The day after ovulation, just to be sure and we had a couple of days off after that but he was a bit distressed sunshinesaz86!

I resisted poas this morning so will probably try tesco one tomorrow.

cinnamongreyhound · 29/07/2014 07:24

It was our last attempt the day afyer

Cpt1sock · 28/07/2014 23:12

Last few posts have made me chuckle Grin

AF has really floored me this time round, feeling very sickly and tired, also lots of clots. I wonder what it is that changes it from one month to the next. Anyway AF can well and truly piss orf. I wish there was a less messy way of fertility to do its thing.

mrse holiday sounds awesome! I'm so ready for ours next week. I hope your crampy tummy is the good kind of crampy and AF stays away.

Sunshinesaz86 · 28/07/2014 22:55

Thanks Brixton and mrse, I asked him how 'it' was feeling and anyway........ we've DTD!! So wasn't that bad after all haha!! And he certainly didn't take much convincing, maybe it was reverse psychology??

He does crack me up, men are funny things! Ouchie cinnamon poor DH, I hope it didn't delay any BD for u?? X

cinnamongreyhound · 28/07/2014 22:01

You can tell him I made my dh's bleed this month with apparently too much dtd sunshinesaz86 Blush!!!!!

Sounds fab MrsExtraOrdinary! Hope the cramps are your uterus stretching and not af :)

BrixtonBunny · 28/07/2014 21:56

Sunshine that make me giggle "feeling delicate"! Hope you can convince him to DTD - I'm sure you can! Wink

MrsE you really are extraordinary aren't you! I feel shattered just thinking about your day! Sounds lovely though Grin

MrsExtraOrdinary · 28/07/2014 21:30

Sunshine fx for you! My dh Is notoriously a rubbish performer under pressure! Sounds like something he'd say! I'd suggest the quickest of quickies and just pretend it's the best sec you've ever had! Fake it baby!!! Grin Works every time! Wink

Sunshinesaz86 · 28/07/2014 21:23

That sounds very eventful mrse! Fx for your BFP and that af stays away for u!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 28/07/2014 21:21

Blimey I'm shattered! Took 6 kids horse riding and scuba diving today! They are also shattered! I defy anyone to dare say they are bored! Wink tomorrow we have beach, zoo and a tree climb booked! And a possible beheading if anyone steps out if line. Wink

Got crampy tummy this eve and feel a bit bloaty. Not looking particularly good. Also had the rage this morning but it passed by lunchtime. I'm not particularly confident although I know we must have caught the best times. Got quite a bit of creamy cm. but that's normal pre af for me. Confused oh the tww is a pain in the fanjo! WineWine

Rainbow555 · 28/07/2014 21:06

Congrats brixton!

Sunshinesaz86 · 28/07/2014 20:10

Oh right they are nice short cycles aren't they?! I've started opks this month but they are seriously cheap so I'm hoping they work, I had a fairly similar colour line myself today as control line but only cd10 so think that's too early! And I want to DTD again today straight thru for the next 4/5 days but DP says his u know what is 'feeling delicate'! Haha sorry if that's tmi but men do make me laugh!! (I will try and work my magic) and keep my fx!

Congrats again really pleased for u x

BrixtonBunny · 28/07/2014 20:03

Thanks sunshine! I hope so too, feels very surreal and I still don't quite dare believe it. Yes, my cycles are around 25 or 26 days usually and it seems like I had quite early ovulation this month. I'm glad I was doing OPKs or might well have had no idea when I ovulated and there were definitely a couple of days in fertile period where we would not have DTD otherwise. I'm really lucky in that my DP really bought into the idea, so managed to pull off a couple of impressive quickies! X

spinningirl10 · 28/07/2014 20:01

Yay Brixton, Congratulations to you. Fx for a sticky beanGrin

Linda, yay a boy. There will be a lot of noisy times in your house but lots of fun!

Sunshinesaz86 · 28/07/2014 19:46

Congrats Brixton!! I couldn't help notice your early ovulation days...... Did u have short cycles then? I hope u have a healthy 12 months! :) x

angelaham · 28/07/2014 18:55

Well it looks like AF has kicked in, major cramps, but at least it has arrived on time. i am wondering if the brown spotting before hand is my body getting back to normal after the pill

lindamagoo · 28/07/2014 18:31

Thanks ladies, I'm over the moon Smile Hope to see you all getting your bfp's soonSmile

MrsExtraOrdinary · 28/07/2014 18:21

EnglishGirlsReturned · 28/07/2014 16:26

Congrats Brixton!

And Linda.... 3 boys!!! Wow!! Lovely news! Smile

Cpt1sock · 28/07/2014 16:05

brixton must be amazing to see it clearly stated pregnant . Congrats again.

linda yay congrats for 3 ds. I think when we have dc3 we will have a boy. It's probably because I already have 2 but can't imagine not having another boy (although psychic told me dc3 is a girl, we'll see) .

Siarie · 28/07/2014 14:07

Of yeah for sure, I usually am ok with EWCM so maybe I don't need it. I just figure if it would help I'm up for maximising my chances. I guess you will be making a move over to the pregnancy forum soon :D xx

BrixtonBunny · 28/07/2014 13:26

Just this cycle Siarie - I didn't have any EWCM at all, so it must have helped the swimmers a bit?! Xx

Siarie · 28/07/2014 12:48

Congrats Brixton! I'm sure it will stick, I've been debating buying conceive plus did you use it cycle 1 as well or just this cycle?

Nordicmom · 28/07/2014 12:40

Congrats Linda !
