A new thread for anyone who needs support to not POAS until 12 dpo! Grin

Well that's me 15DPO and no AF. I've had slight cramps and very very little spotting.

Should I POAS? Or wait? I'm fed up of POAS and of waiting... :(

RedBunny · 27/07/2014 13:14

Well I have only got four days to wait. Which on one hand it feels like ages to wait and I hate it, on the other, I'm really nervous to get there and get ANOTHER bfn. I think it will just make me soooo miserable.
Ladyflower I did like a million tests after my last two BFPs to check it was getting darker.

Sarahg1 · 27/07/2014 12:25

The cheap Internet ones. I'm defo not preg unfortunately no matter what test I try! Sad

how is everyone else getting on?

winnie1981 · 27/07/2014 12:02

According to my phone app (one says 13dpo) and the other days 10dpo. In still pretty unsure what my cycles are doing tho as it's only the 2nd since coming off the pill

RedBunny · 27/07/2014 11:26

Ok. What tests are you using?

Sarahg1 · 27/07/2014 10:09

Love your optimism red but I'm pretty sure AF will arrive... due Tuesday but been having cramps for days. Depressing.

ladyflower23 · 27/07/2014 09:48

Hi redbunny I have been lurking awaiting more bfps! I forgot that the first 12 weeks drags as much as the 2ww. Have been passing the time by peeing on my opks as substitute pregnancy tests 'just to check'. Thought you would want to know my addiction is still going strong he he Grin
Pinpan don't try but don't prevent and I bet you get upduffed!

RedBunny · 27/07/2014 09:13

Yes Sarah. As this is your first pregnancy you're going for for all you know you could be a late implanter. You never know!! When's AF due?

Sarahg1 · 27/07/2014 07:45

I'm 12 dpo BFN for me this morning. Is it too early to drown my sorrows in vodka? ?

RedBunny · 27/07/2014 07:32

Winnie I know! Where are you in the 2ww? I'm only 8dpo so four more days for me before I can expect a definitive result...!!! Feels so far away though right now. Grin

deeplybaffled · 26/07/2014 21:59

Ooh. Thanks for the encouragement! If everything went to normal schedules, AF was due today. I think I might hang on another couple of days and test then if nothing happens.....will keep you posted:)

winnie1981 · 26/07/2014 21:27

Having to keep occupied instead of poas! This 2ww malarkey is sooooo annoying!

RedBunny · 26/07/2014 20:51

Yeah frer are my favourite tests. I've read they don't give evaps and I've done like 100s of them in my ttc and never gotten an evap on them so deeplybaffled... It may end up being a BFP. My faint lines all were. Don't count yourself out yet!!

newbie6 · 26/07/2014 20:01

Don't say that deeply baffled, you never know! Maybe try again tomorrow? How many dpo are you? X

deeplybaffled · 26/07/2014 14:10

Think I'm out for the month too:(

Did the POAS thing this morning with a FRER, and one line.....possibly a VERY faint second line if you stare/squint hard enough, but given AF due this weekend, can't really convince myself, dammit.

onwards and upwards to BFP in August!

Good luck, everyone.

Spangila · 26/07/2014 09:44

It was a Superdrug cheapo because I read somewhere (I think) that they are more sensitive to hcg levels...

It is my first :)

RedBunny · 26/07/2014 09:16

What kind was it spangila? When I was pregnant with my daughter I used clearblue which test for 25mlu of hcg and on the day my period was due which was 14 dpo I still got such a faint line that I didn't actually believe I was pregnant til four tests later.
So I guess I'm saying if it's not a very sensitive test that might be why. Or you might not implant til 12dpo? So... No sad face yet! Is this your first?

Spangila · 26/07/2014 08:28

Well no sign of AF and 12dpo so I POAS this morning.... BFN Sad

I've got a hen party tonight so I suppose I wanted to know if I could drink or not. To be on the safe side I think I'll stick to soft drinks.

RedBunny · 26/07/2014 08:20

I'm wondering how Ladyflower is doing. Ladyflower?? Where are you???!!!

RedBunny · 25/07/2014 23:20

I use fertility friend app. I had ovia but I just felt like it was trying to hard to be my friend. fertility friend is just factual. It doesn't tell me to go do horizontal dancing or whatever. I'm just a nerdy spoilsport really I know....
Pinpan, just DTD whenever you feel like it. I bet you'll get pregnant if it's an inconvenient time. And it'll be great!! We need BFPs remember?

pinpan · 25/07/2014 15:26

I'm back! Been on aeroplanes for most of the week. Wink Good luck everyone on the 2ww. I think I'm gearing up to ov, but seriously considering having a month off coz we've got so much going on at the moment. But then I think that would be the ideal not-paying-much-attention-bound-to-happen scenario and I just don't know what to do. Argh!

Spangila, I'm using the Ovia app, it seems quite good and it has a nice colour scheme. Grin

Spangila · 25/07/2014 10:05

Do any of you use an app to track your ovulation date etc? I'm using Lifecycle on iOS but I'm pretty sure it keeps changing the dates on me... Confused

Still no sign of AF but my tummy is feeling hard and more prominent (instead of its usual flabby) and has done for few weeks now

deeplybaffled · 25/07/2014 00:23

Thinking of testing this weekend if no sign of AF....

newbie6 · 24/07/2014 20:03

Saw the fertility specialist today to go over our results which thankfully were all good BUT he said he wouldn't advise using ovulation test kits as they can make it harder to get preggars? He said it can make people stressed etc which can in turn upset your hormones/cycle. He said best thing you can do is to have sex 3 to 4 times a week and that way you are covered! Phew, not sure I can be bothered with that much but hey, will give it a go ;) x

rm00054 · 24/07/2014 16:54

Unfortunately I think my nausea is signalling the arrival of a very much unwanted AF :(
