The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Boozle, fingers tightly crossed. Lady, welcome!

I need a slap- currently in a mood with DH because I think I'm about to ovulate (EWCM for last 2 days) and the poor boy doesn't want to dtd again...

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 20/07/2014 08:44

And welcome lady I missed your message on the last page! I'm sorry you've found yourself here but welcome. This is a wonderful group x

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 20/07/2014 08:42

boozle try to stay positive! especially if you're testing before AF with not very sensitive tests. The bleeding has stopped too so that's a really good sign.

I'm sorry marmalade I think it's really difficult for anyone, even our partners, to understand. I think if it's an early mc and it's been a few weeks you're expected to be over it by now. Like it was a common cold and you should be feeling better. Because people think it wasn't a baby yet anyway, it was so early, at least you can get pregnant blah blah blah. Just know that he doesn't mean it and he's probably finding things really hard too. His experience of pregnancy was through you and it's horrible to see someone you love in turmoil, knowing there's nothing you can do about it.

smiling glad you've had some strong +ves! Are you going to the gap to have it confirmed? (Not that mine did anyway!)

Sounds like you've got the timing spot on this month english fx for you!

Boozle80 · 20/07/2014 08:39

English I would count that as your high - keeping everything crossed for you apart from your legs!

Boozle80 · 20/07/2014 08:38

Treacle that must be horrid. It sounds stupid and I know nothing about the condition at all other than the articles you pointed me towards but would using one of the pelvic floor things help? Just as a kind of stretching practising devise? Bless you - it must be rubbish :( xx

Marmalade I don't think the other half can experience or understand loosing part of themselves like we do. I know the baby was part of them but to have them inside you is a whole different thing. It was a horrid thing for him to say - you will probably never be the person you were before all this happened, not because you don't want to be - we'd all love to turn the clock back - but because your baby died and how can you be the same after that?
tranquil and oneday thank you so much - your support is keeping me afloat at the mo!

Lady you have found the most supportive, kind and lovely bunch of individuals on the planet and you are welcome. We also love a good old fashioned swear and if you know any good insults give them a share!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 20/07/2014 07:44

Try not to worry Boozle, I know it's hard. But if the bleeding has stopped it probably fine and just a rubbish test. Get a Frer as Treacle said.
Sorry you're feeling rubbish Marmalade. Men can be so insensitive.

I had another dark OPK yesterday which I'm going to call my true positive. Have DTD since Thursday and will again tonight then an enforced break Monday and back to it Tuesday.

Baby boom in my world at the moment. One born Friday, one yesterday, one due today and one being delivered by cs tomorrow! Feeling rather 'Why the fuck am O the one who miscarried... Twice!!' Hmm

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 20/07/2014 07:05

boozle im still getting a faint line on the internet cheapies but the digi ones are giving me a very strong pregnant and the lines when I take it out of the holder thing are very very dark, so dont give up hope yet, can you get a different test and see if its darker on there?

marmalade dp and I have had some horrible arguments since losing the baby, I just dont think he understands how its changed me, im certainly not the person I was before Sad

Treaclepie19 · 20/07/2014 06:55

boozle keep calm, i bet it is just because they aren't sensitive.
I swear by frer.

marmalade, so sorry you've been arguing.
Don't feel guilty. Me and DH have had the same thing. I know I'm not a pleasure to live with and I'm trying my best, but he has to understand this has ruined me and it will take time for me to be back to anywhere near normal.

I think I'm managing to combat my uti with lots of water. Fingers crossed.

Marmaladecat1 · 20/07/2014 06:01

boozle :( crossing everything it's just because it wasn't a sensitive test.
Hang on in there. The bleeding has stopped, that can only be a good thing?

Had a terrible night, up since 4. I am so fed up of all if us being ill!
Had a good old cry last night, DH was really unkind, apparently I've been insufferable the last few weeks and there's comes a point when enough is enough.
I know I have been hard to live with since this happened, I put everything into faking it for everyone else.
We had it out but I'm still pretty hurt.
And then someone I know announced their pregnancy on Instagram!! No where is safe.

Boozle80 · 20/07/2014 05:29

They don't seem anything to write home about today, I can still feel a kind of dull ache, no more bleeding. I've just done another test which is so faint though and the midwife DH spoke to said that if it didn't get darker it probably wasn't a viable pregnancy this time :(. Bollocks. Trying to stay a bit positive, DH didn't buy sensitive tests etc and maybe that's why it's faint, AF wasn't due until tomorrow and these ones say don't use them before etc, but bollocks :(

Tranquilitybaby · 20/07/2014 01:37

boozle how are you now? Has the spotting and cramps stopped? Thinking of you xx

Tranquilitybaby · 20/07/2014 01:37

Thank you lovely ladies, everyone so friendly and kind in here. Xx

Hope if the one sided cramps and brown spotting continue of def get referred by your gp to your local EPU, don't leave it just in case Anything's amiss. Xx

Ladyboluna · 19/07/2014 23:42

I'm not sure if I count being on here. A few months ago I had bleeding (a little when I wiped) on the day af was due but pad was clean and it stopped and nothing for 2 days. Tests were negative but that's not unheard of for it to be a bfp. I was feeling lightheaded and I'd gone off my food.

An hour before I went to see the gp my period came heavily and I had cramps. Doctor said it was very early mc. Even though I know these are common it upset me and was on my mind for months. I know it's not as bad as having a bfp first and all the joy but I'm thinking of it as a positive experience now as perhaps it means that something is happening somewhere at least.

Good luck to everyone! I'm on cycle 12 now and waiting to poas on Saturday.

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 19/07/2014 23:02

boozle how are you doing? Ive got cramps too, im telling myself its normal but its hard not to be worried at every little thing isnt it?

I popped over to the pregnancy after miscarriage thread to have a look but it just made me cry, I dont want to leave you all, youve given me strength and courage and big wet fishy slaps when ive needed them and I want to stay with you all on this journey.

Treaclepie19 · 19/07/2014 22:29

Possibly, I'm not sure.
As far as cures go, people tell me they have had it and been cured so I hope so.
It's basically training the muscles to loosen.
I need to do something because it could make childbirth difficult. Going to go to the doctors with it again I think.

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 19/07/2014 22:22

I've never had one so can't sympathise but know many people that have and how uncomfortable it is.

Are the two linked do you think? And are there any cures? I'm sorry, I know very little about the condition but I can only imagine how difficult it makes dtd when you're trying to do it the most!

Treaclepie19 · 19/07/2014 22:02

Thanks oneday, yeah I used to get them really often.
It's dwindled down now but still get them every now and then.
Just hoping it doesn't get worse and flushing it out with water.

My vaginismus has been really bad too so I'm in pain with that. Looking into more methods for curing it. Grr.

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 19/07/2014 21:59

boozle don't be silly, that's what this is for and we're all here to listen. I'm thinking of you and I'm sure this is a little blip in a long and healthy pregnancy for you.

Sorry you're poorly too treacle Do you have these a lot?

Treaclepie19 · 19/07/2014 21:48

Don't feel bad boozle, we're here for you.
Rest and take it easy!
Get some sleep and hopefully all will be well tomorrow. X

Boozle80 · 19/07/2014 21:46

Thanks everyone. I went to the doctors who we're super lovely but basically said wait and see what happens. No more bleeding really but very light cramping still. Hoping it's my hormones having an argument but can't help but think it's something more. I've come to bed in the hope that if I lie still nothing bad will happen... Sorry for coming on and going on a me, me, me, I know how desperate everyone is to see the positive test I got so it's unfair of me to come on with post BFP issues, but this just seems like some form of punishment and you guys are my sanity keepers!

Treaclepie19 · 19/07/2014 21:39

Sorry so many of us are struggling :(
Hugs all round.
Hope all is ok boozle.

I think I have a uti :( why is it always a Saturday night :(

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 19/07/2014 21:01

No better marmalade? Poor you.

Sorry for my ignorance/memory lapse but can I ask why Sundays are painful for you? Feeling so poorly on top of what you've been through is no doubt going to make you feel horrid. And you can't even eat and drink what you want to make yourself feel better.

Hope you're okay this evening boozle

Marmaladecat1 · 19/07/2014 20:48

That was what my breakthrough bleeding was like boozle.

It's Sunday again tomorrow, still such a hard time for me.
I'm poorly and teary to boot.

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 19/07/2014 20:42

So sorry broody, I'm with you. Another bfn. Our village has had a music festival today. So DH and I have been there drinking beer and having a laugh in the sunshine. I'm expecting AF tomorrow if I'm back to normal...
In the meantime, g&t in the garden it is!

Oh boozle how frightening. You've been to the Drs? I'm afraid I can't give you any advice as I've only been pg once but hoping there's someone on here who can reassure you. Really really thinking if you and hoping all is well xx

Boozle80 · 19/07/2014 19:39

How much blood did you get with your breakthrough bleed? I've got enough to cover a tissue a bit when I wipe - more than spotting but not enough to use a pad or anything, that was about three hours ago, since then nothing on the outside so to speak. Slight cramping - it's almost like the day before your period starts with some cramps and very light blood and then nothing for a while. Sorry if tmi! I feel completely terrified, I burst into tears at the doctors when she said I've not miscarried yet! Xx
