The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Hang in there boozle we are rooting for you!

Ah, I'm a couple of years older than you treacle still love a bit of busted mind.

Hi tori I'm so sorry. I'm also sorry I also miscarried naturally so can't advise.

I think I'm going through the angry phase? I am seriously not a happy bunny.
And just because I'm venting, I want to see my doctor on wed, (if I get an appointment) DH won't take a half day because he has too much on this week. Which means I have to ask my mum to have DS. This is fine and I'm sure she will but it's the explaining to her why I'm going etc. she is not in any way supportive. It's just the way she is. It's fine but it makes it more difficult.
Please remind to leave FB!

Treaclepie19 · 20/07/2014 19:56

Boozle, you're right. They have no idea.

Glad you've not had much today. I so have my fingers crossed for you!

Boozle80 · 20/07/2014 19:53

That's hard Treacle. It doesn't make the stress any easier holding off for a month either! I really don't think the boys know what this yearning feeling to be pregnant again actually feels like.

I'm ok thanks oneday. It's just a massive waiting game. No more bleeding just a pin prick of pink on tissue this morning and more aches than cramps in my abdonim. I did a quick check and lots of creamy white cm (sorry probably tmi) but nothing suspicious looking. Fingers crossed it's just a blip but we're not going to celebrate until we've got at least the next week out of the way. Up until then I'm kind of just pretending I'm not pregnant yet, it's the only way I can deal with it. I've done a lot of praying today!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 20/07/2014 19:31

Hi Tori,
I went through a similar situation, but I had a blighted ovum ( pregnancy sac but no baby). Had to have 3 scans before I then had an erpc (which I would thoroughly recommend). It is so hard, but take time to look after yourself and grieve. It does get easier. I hope you find some support in these pages, the ladies are all wonderful.

Treaclepie19 · 20/07/2014 19:11

Thanks oneday. We're ok now but he is really suggesting taking some time not ttc.

The whole thing hasn't affected him as much but he can see it's destroyed me.

Hi tori, so sorry you're here. Look after yourself. I miscarried naturally so can't really offer any advice.

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 20/07/2014 18:48

hope hoping you get a scan date soon and can get some reassurance

boozle how are you doing today? I've been thinking about you.

Hope you're feeling better treacle sorry to hear you've fallen out with DH. Emotions are so high for you both and we take it out on those that are closest. I remember having the most horrific argument with DH the day he went back to work and I was still off after the ERPC. I was screaming, telling him to leave me and hitting out (so out of character for me) It started over something silly that I can't even remember now but soon escalated because of course it had nothing to do with the silly thing but all my upset about being left alone came out. You'll work it out, be kind to each other.

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 20/07/2014 18:43

Hi Tori of course you can join but I'm so sorry you're here. I'm sorry it's not looking like good news. Know that you're not alone and things really do get better with time. I personally had an ERPC so can't advise re the medical management but there will be ladies on here who can help.

I was exactly the same as you, focusing in ttc again was the only constructive thing I could do and focus on.

Thinking of you tomorrow x

He says he will leave it up to me but as I'm so stressed out he doesn't think it's a good idea.

I'm 24 marmalade. I've seen Charlie at every show he's done as a solo artist. So gutted he's married because obviously he was going to run off with me before!!! :p

Marmaladecat1 · 20/07/2014 17:57

I'm just waiting for DH to say the same!
Ah good old Charlie! We must be of a similar age Wink

Treaclepie19 · 20/07/2014 17:44

I'm with you marmalade.
We've made up but he's suggested a month off trying.

Yeah that Charlie Simpson haha. I've followed his career from Busted (I was young), to Fightstar to his new solo stuff. Boo hoo hoooooo.

Marmaladecat1 · 20/07/2014 17:43

Implantation dulcet

Marmaladecat1 · 20/07/2014 17:40

Come hang with me treacle I've been a bitch all day too. DH is not impressed. Serves him right he had a nap of nearly 3 hours today whilst I did basically wife work of washing and cleaning and then baking with DS. My kitchen is covered in flour!
Charlie Simpson as in busted fame?

Fingers crossed for implantaton

EnglishGirlsReturned · 20/07/2014 16:08

How rude of him Wink. You'll both be fine. It's hard though, I know.

Treaclepie19 · 20/07/2014 16:00

Hi lady, sorry I didn't see your post either. Welcome :)

Thanks English, problem is I'm up and down constantly. I've come into the bedroom for peace and quiet and he's shut himself in the dining room.
Been listening to Charlie Simpson which calmed me down until I found out he is now married! Tut.

EnglishGirlsReturned · 20/07/2014 15:55

Sorry - I seemed to have missed your first post Lady - welcome to the nut house. I hope you're not here long.... in the nicest possible way Wink

Sorry you're arguing with DH Treacle. Maybe you could go for a walk and clear your head. Hopefully you'll both have calmed down and can have some make-up sex when you back!! Its so hard to be happy, nice and positive all the time.

Dulcet - being on mc#2 I can safely say - don't expect your cycles to be the same, especially so soon after the mc. They can take a few months to settle down. BUT, I do hope it is implantation. Hope you have a good trip!!

Ladyboluna · 20/07/2014 14:57

Thank you boozle and oneday, I can swear like a trooper when I want to lol

Treaclepie19 · 20/07/2014 14:54

Bloody hell. Just had the worst argument wit DH for a long time. He rarely gets angry and this was a full shouting, slamming doors, reverting to a 2 year old argument.

Over nothing really but mainly because I've been a bitch all day.
So now I'm just sitting here thinking if I go in he won't talk to me and otherwise I just feel shit. I'm quick tempered and then regret it. I knew it was building up to this today.

Oh well. Hope everyone's having a good day.

Maybe implantation dulcet?

DulcetMoans · 20/07/2014 14:28

Welcome lady, good luck for Saturday.

I am sure they have offered an early scan to be supportive hope, not because they think there is a problem. They would have told you if they thought there was a problem. Hope you get a scan soon with a lovely heartbeat!

Hope you aren't in pain anymore boozle and the bleeding stopped. Like the others said, bleeding in early pregnancy is quite common, but doesn't stop it being worrying!

Sorry people are feeling down. It comes in waves though and I think we just have to accept that there will be good days and bad days. Harder when fighting with DH though - I think sometimes they just don't know what to do to make it better. Maybe he wrongly tried tough love marmalade think it would help when it really really won't. Hope you made up.

I am in USA! Here for work. As I got here I have started some very very light spotting. I mean barely there but defo there. On a normal cycle (taking MC as CD1) I think I would be due Thursday so this is early. I don't normally spot either - i'm an all or nothing girl! So, who knows what this is... Annoying as I had some DTD plans with the DH whilst we were here!

Treaclepie19 · 20/07/2014 10:03

You've been busy ladies!
I went back to sleep. Seems like the uti has calmed down. Got intense stomach pain again though and feeling sick. Been like this all week so think it's my ibs flaring up. Everything comes at once doesn't it.
I agree with you monten, ive not felt well since the mc either.

English you have every right to feel that way.

Hope, try not to worry. They just want to scan to reassure you. I had scans at 6 weeks and 8 weeks for reassurance. Obviously all wasn't well with me but the doctor said at 6 weeks they will scan you if you've had any bleeding or pain despite this being quite a common thing.

Hope26 · 20/07/2014 09:58

Boozle thanks that does help! she did say everything seems okay so I have to wait till tomorrow. After mc you start getting worried at any symptom. I hope all is well.

Marm I hope it's just a reassurance scan. The doc was lovely. My DH and I used to argue and it's normal. Sucks but you two will learn how to deal with it. Things will get better

Monten · 20/07/2014 09:55

boozle am so sorry you've had a scare. As others have said, it's perfectly common to bleed a bit in early pregancy and many people do and go on to have healthy pregancies. Just get yourself an frer and keep testing, fingers crossed.

marma sorry you had a row. It wasn't a nice thing for him to say but seeing the person you love in pain can be very hard and sometimes you lash out because you want them to be 'normal' again, because it means they aren't hurting anymore. Be kind to each other.

I had some wine last night and I am always very cheerful after a glass or two. Not anymore. I had this objective realisation that I'm really quite miserable at the moment. Not feeling well doesn't help, I don't think I've felt truly on form health wise since the mc.

hope I think she is right to refer you for a scan. Doesn't mean anything is wrong but pain and bleeding should be checked out. Fx.

last welcome x

english wow, that sounds like a right baby fest. I'm the same, all these babies being born and I just think - why do they get their baby? Why don't I get mine? When he/she comes tho they will be so perfect you won't be able yo imagine it any other way x

Marmaladecat1 · 20/07/2014 09:46

Thank you all for your lovely words, I would definitely be in a darker place without them. Thank you for putting up with me!
It's also nice to know we aren't the only ones arguing!

How you feeling treacle?
FX for a scan today hope I'm sure the lady wanted to give you a scan to reassure you?

Can't scroll very well on my phone, sorry for lack of reply!

Boozle80 · 20/07/2014 09:42

The doctor said to me yesterday that I'd know if it was eptopic as I wouldn't even be able to touch the area. They also said another sign of eptopic is a pain in your shoulder tips. I'm sure they're only scanning you as a reassurance to see the babies hb etc. hope this helps xx

Hope26 · 20/07/2014 09:26

Hi last, any mc whether you knew beforehand or last minute is a mc nonetheless. Hurts like anything. We are here for you so rant away!

Boozle get a first response test ASAP for your own sanity. Some women bleed during pregnancy and have healthy babies so don't panic yet and keep going to your gp if it continues.

Tranquility I went to the a&e yesterday because I keep getting pains on the right and left side with slight brown discharge. I really hope it's not ectopic. The doctor said my urine is giving a strong positive pregnancy and not to stress and relax but she did say she will give me an early scan. I will receive a call tomorrow for an appointment. Does that mean something is wrong!? I'm stressing.. Again! It's not like the usual pains I got in my previous pregnancy, these are sometimes on the right, sometimes on the left! Oh gosh.
