The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Thank you boozle - that's a very good point. I had very very heavy bleeding 4 days after erpc so there probably wasn't much lining there. I love you ladies - such good advice. Amazing news about your test Thanks

treacle - get to it! Grin

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 21/07/2014 08:28

*boozle thats great news, keeping everything crossed for you.

monten my first af after erpc was really light, I bled for 3 days but there wasnt much blood at all although I had terrible cramps. The second one was longer, 5 days but not heavy or painful which is really unusual for me as af before pregnancy used to leave me anemic and doubled up in pain for 4 days.

hi salty and lola

Boozle80 · 21/07/2014 08:06

Whoop whoop Treacle that's super exciting. Get bonking and subtlety sticking your legs in the air afterwards! Whoop whoop!
Monten I had my first cycle which was exactly like that. Maybe the first AF and m/c cleared you out so much there isn't much left to come out? I also had really bad cramps with it. The next AF wasn't much longer either.
No more bleeding this end and got another, slightly darker, test this morning. Still doing lost of praying and hoping though, going to go down to the docs tomorrow if all is still ok and ask them to test EVERYTHING!
Hope everyone has a happy Monday

Monten · 21/07/2014 07:51

Hi tori lola and salty - sorry you are here and hope your stay is short Smile.

I am also in wtf cycle, in middle of first af post erpc on 9 June.

Ladies - after tfmr in Jan my first af was very heavy. This one is SO light and has, I think, already stopped. After all that cramping I was expecting it to be really heavy. Anyone else had this?

boozle that all sounds really positive. Fx for an uneventful next few months.

hope hope (!) your scan goes well.

just thanks for that link, feeling a bit fragile this morning so not sure if I'm strong enough but will read later.

Foxtrot7459 · 21/07/2014 07:39

Welcome Lola

I think my WTF cycle is over!! After spotting for 3 days it has become heavier although not as heavy as pre mc. I mc naturally on 16th June so had a 34 day cycle when pre mc it was 26-28.

Now time to get back to dtd but have no idea when I will/if ov as don't poas or temp so will just dtd as much as possible!

Treaclepie19 · 21/07/2014 06:55

OMG! I knew I needed to dtd last night. Solid smiley today. No temp rise though so looks like we still have time.
I second what English has said salty.
Sorry for your loss.

EnglishGirlsReturned · 21/07/2014 06:46

Hi salty, I was told to expect AF 4-6 weeks from my erpc. Everyone is different though. I'll be 4 weeks post erpc on Wednesday, but think I only ovulated yesterday so mine should be closer to 6weeks if anything.

SaltySeaBird · 21/07/2014 00:57

I had an ERPC 4th July. Just came on to ask how long this cycle might be. My last miscarriage was medical management and my cycles returned to normal quickly, do cycles after an ERPC normally take longer?

lola60 · 21/07/2014 00:17

The wtf cycle, i love it lol well dont really love it iykwim!! Thanks girls for all the lovely kind words fingers crossed for us all x

Justonemoretime · 20/07/2014 23:39

Hi ladies, on my phone so I can't reply to all, but I read this today. Its about someone who's son died at age 2, but her expressions of grief really resonated with me. It may help some? www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/0956559948?cache=cc9ae001efcc7b85fa53d7a8e91016a7&pi=SY200_QL40&qid=1405895751&sr=8-1#ref=mp_s_a_1_1
Take care. X

EnglishGirlsReturned · 20/07/2014 23:34

Hi Lola, welcome! Sorry for your loss. I'm also in what is commonly known as the wtf cycle after 2nd mc and erpc 23rd June also. Just expect the unexpected- that's about all I can advise. Your hormones will wreck havoc with your body and emotions. Expected bad days and good. But it does get easier

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 20/07/2014 23:25

Welcome lola I hope you're stay here is short! I had a mmc and subsequent ERPC 23rd June and am still waiting for first AF too. Should have been due today if cycles were as before but typically I'm having a WTF cycle I suspect! We also dtd once I'd stopped bleeding but no idea if it was at the right time and I don't think I've ovulated yet. Hop on the bus and joint me, marmalade and some of the other ladies as we not so patiently await our AF ... Or even better BFP!

Treaclepie19 · 20/07/2014 23:24

Ooh marmalade not good :(

I'm really cross. I so want to dtd. I even have lots of cm!!!
:(

Marmaladecat1 · 20/07/2014 23:11

Totally understand! I was hospitalised with my last kidney infection. It wasn't pretty, passing out, vommit and a slow heart rate...all in front of really good looking doctors. Great!

Treaclepie19 · 20/07/2014 22:58

I should add that wasn't because I'd dtd after getting the uti, it just spread!

Treaclepie19 · 20/07/2014 22:57

It's not too bad atm marmalade. Shouldn't risk worsening it though really.
I remember the first one I had ended up as a kidney infection. I swore never to have sex again haha.

Marmaladecat1 · 20/07/2014 22:56

Thanks treacle really appreciate your support :)
Uti and dtd you are a braver lady than I! Although I always had hideous uti's.

Hi lola so sorry for your loss, everyone is so lovely here.
I believe you are in the WTF cycle. I am also in it as are few others I believe. Sorry I can't remember who!
I wish I had advice for you, I think we are all hanging in there. I'm knockers and knickers checking!

Treaclepie19 · 20/07/2014 22:56

It's good that you know you had no hcg left.

Fingers crossed you get a bfp rather than af :)

lola60 · 20/07/2014 22:55

Thanks for replying Treacle did a test this morn an got a BFN!! Had scan a week after misc and uterus was empty and hpt was neg!! Think i just need af to arrive to know where i am cycle wise

Treaclepie19 · 20/07/2014 22:49

Hi lola, sorry for your loss.
Have you done a test already? Did you test to see if your hcg levels had gone down?

lola60 · 20/07/2014 22:45

Hi girls can i join ur thread? Had a natural misc in june and ttc as soon as bleeding stopped, waiting on af now or a bfp would be fantastic, hard not knowing where i am in my cycle as no af since misc! Am symtom spotting to the point of driving myself mad!!! Does this get easier i so just want to be pregnant again, hate this feeling of emptiness, any advice would be very welcome x

Treaclepie19 · 20/07/2014 22:35

Haha, it's just Charlie. Yum.

Feeling much more normal tonight apart from this stupid uti. Wondering whether to attempt to dtd tonight or not. And also if DH would let me due to a) uti and b) him considering a break.

Oh marmalade, it is so hard. Sending big hugs. I thought I'd have lost track of weeks now but I know I'd have been 18 weeks Wednesday coming and it's been 9 weeks and a day since i started bleeding. Gah.

Marmaladecat1 · 20/07/2014 22:29

I'm doing the better out than in thing.
I've also cried a lot over the last 24 hours.
I was nodding along to your earlier post about feeling destroyed. That is how I feel. A weird tunnel vision of grief.

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 20/07/2014 22:21

treacle I'm a few years older than you too but never got into the Busted thing, haha! I'm glad you and DH made friends. I can see the reasoning for a month off ttc, to give yourself the time to get over what's happened and a bit if time off dtd with the pressure of ttc. But I can also see why you wouldn't want to have a break and you're desperate to be pregnant a again like all of us on here are. It's a tricky one.

boozle that all sounds very positive! I'm glad you've had a better day physically though I'm sure emotionally it's been really hard.

Treaclepie19 · 20/07/2014 21:18

I know exactly what you mean marmalade. My mom is the same. We have no children though so I don't have to explain anything to her.

Be angry though. It's better out than in. In my opinion :p
