The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

It really is true. THREE feckin facebook announcements this week for me. One was a profile picture of a tiny hand; one a picture of their little boy with new little sis; and the other a staged shot with their two other girls holding up placards about their new little sister. Sob. Worried it will never happen for me (sorry, wallowing. Should've been 10 weeks today and having a scan)

Marmaladecat1 · 02/07/2014 09:22

(And we have run out of tea bags)

Marmaladecat1 · 02/07/2014 09:21

I totally understand the impatience of waiting english
I am in a foul mood!

RiverRocks · 02/07/2014 09:17

Morning ladies,

Wonder if I could join you?

TTC #1 since Jan 14, BFP March 2014, MMC April 14 and had an ERPC.

Now 9 weeks post-ERPC, and on cd 8. We get married a week on Monday, and BFP due 2 days later. I'm so hoping for a honeymoon baby!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 02/07/2014 08:12

1 week pot erpc, did a hpt. Still a line. I know I'm being unrealistic to expect a negative already but I'm so bloody impatient. This waiting is excruciating.
Going to start tith every other day from Sunday. Even though the nurse said wait 2-4 weeks. I feel absolutely fine and had such a small amount of bleeding I think that time scale was a little excessive!

tannyLoo · 02/07/2014 08:04

Marmalade I echo that, don't be too hard on yourself, everyone is so different, and the way mc has after effects is miserable. I have had five in a row, and after the last one had a complete meltdown. MC is complete shitbuckets!

tannyLoo · 02/07/2014 08:01

Ha! I know that one Broody! My son (14) decided he was going to "hang" with us for the entire fertile window instead of going to his dad's as planned. FFS...
In the end, with my crazy "super-fertility" we needn't have worried, but I was growling like a tiger all weekend!

broodylicious · 02/07/2014 07:52

Dd must have got wind of my starting July with lashings of TITH plan.... Took two hours to get her to sleep then woke 20 mins later and insisted on being held all night but even then didn't sleep Confused bloody hayfever/summer cold!!!

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 02/07/2014 07:50

marmalade you are not an idiot, have you considered counselling? Ive found talking to someone impartial so helpful, I can say anything I want without worrying about upsetting her or being judged its very liberating.

Im in the 2ww and seriously doubting my own sanity Confused

Marmaladecat1 · 02/07/2014 07:04

Dick-wad! That's brilliant.
I have apparently missed my fertile window and I'm seriously fucked off with the world.
4 weeks ago yesterday.
I thought I would be back to normal by now. I am an excellent example of an idiot. Do not carry on working whilst miscarrying, I think I've just bottled it all up.
Now in the 2ww :(
And it's not even Friday yet.
Arse!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 01/07/2014 23:01

Oh I use the C-bomb far too much. But it really is the only word sometimes. And even if it's not entirely necessary it's still bloody brilliant!

Don't worry dulcet, it will get easier to bear. I just 'hide' pregnant people if they're one if those annoying people who divulge every detail of their pregnancy!
After my first mc my friend told me a week later via face time she was pg. I blurted out about my mc (she didn't know until that point), held it together until she got off the phone. Then threw my phone across the room, cried and felt guilty for the rest of the afternoon. Don't 'like' the post yet if you can't bring yourself to do it.

Sal1977 · 01/07/2014 22:50

I drop the c-bomb approximately 86 times a day...

Treaclepie19 · 01/07/2014 22:16

I completely understand.
Men just don't get it :(

Monten · 01/07/2014 22:05

treacle I told dh about the pregnant client and he totally didn't get it. Actually hearing it coming out of my mouth I did just sound like a massive cow.

Sorry dulcet. Bloody Facebook.

Have fun carly! I'm off to France on Saturday and can't bloody wait. Going to eat loads of Brie and drink gallons of red wine, just because I can.

Boozle80 · 01/07/2014 21:56

Fart Knocker! I love it - I'm going to add that to my staff room vocabulary, alongside pig dog!

DulcetMoans · 01/07/2014 21:35

Oh there it is - first Facebook announcement since MC. Only took 5 days. Can't quite bring myself to 'like' it...

Carly6971 · 01/07/2014 21:32

Just marking my place...off to Portugal in the early hours for 2 weeks looking forward to hearing of all these bfps when I get back :)

And massive congrats daisy lovely news xx

FlorenceandZebedee · 01/07/2014 20:52

Hey all, I was kind of hoping not to be on my 3rd TTC after mc thread but as I am it's good to be on with you fab ladies.

I also love a good swear, think you've covered most of them but I'm going to add 'fartknocker!' a current fave of my godson and one that always raises a smile/snigger.

Welcome to the newbies, it's rubbish to be here but great to feel normal-ish when in RL mc can be very isolating. dulcet I think your dinner out sounds like one bump/mum too far, be kind yourself bin them off and go and drink wine with your other half!!

Daisy Yay! congrats, there is hope out there. You are pregnant-enjoy Smile

EnglishGirlsReturned · 01/07/2014 20:40

That woman is the epitome of vile! Poor baby being born to that bitch!

Treaclepie19 · 01/07/2014 20:34

Dulcet, i saw that too. Stupid bloody woman.

DulcetMoans · 01/07/2014 20:33

Ill join in the moan, just read an article about Jodie Cunningham on the mail - should know better but I clicked a link. Apparently she would have had an abortion if she had known the baby would be a boy earlier. Then someone in AIBU said she thinks lots of people feel like that. Id love a little boy! Angry face!

Meant to be out for dinner with friends tomorrow. Three on mat leave, one currently pregnant. Can I handle it...?!

Treaclepie19 · 01/07/2014 20:33

Haha, I wish DH would.

Tomorrow it's my friends bday. Shes like 8 months pregnant. Saturday it's my other friends daughters christening.
Ugh.

Foxtrot7459 · 01/07/2014 20:32

I have a work colleague who I refer to as 'the knob with no knob' (not to his face obviously) as just being a knob isn't an insult enough - he is a knob with no knob or a tkwnk for short!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 01/07/2014 20:31

Treacle - my DH didn't understand my hatred if all pregnant people first time round. This time if I tell him about any new pregnancy announcements he joins me in the 'fucking arse' shouting!

Boozle80 · 01/07/2014 20:26

Genius! That's really funny :)
