The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

No sign of AF, was due today, cramps have stopped.. Ah I hope this is the month!!

broodylicious · 03/07/2014 22:29

ladyH I mc 18 weeks ago today too. [hugs] I should be 30 weeks gone today. Life is indeed shit.

Although....

I can confirm I am now officially back on the ttc horse, after six months of no TITH. And wowsers, it was mind blowing. Yep waaaaaay tmi, sorry ladies, no need for that boast Blush Right. Cue symptom spotting and obsessing with the rest of you Wink

bythesea82 · 03/07/2014 22:28

Hi Dulcet I had 2 natural mcs, once everything settled down and stopped being v heavy it became more like a period but with more aches and pains and general feeling of wiped out. Think both times took about 10 days to stop bleeding but I think everyone is different.

Hen do people-big family get together, don't normally get the chance to be all together, can't really miss it-always a fairly fail safe excuse?

Foxtrot7459 · 03/07/2014 22:13

greysar don't think it's the same one - no life drawing for me! Problem if I use the money excuse is that someone may offer me a bed or sofa for the night which I don't want cos I don't want to go!!

I just need something urgently in my diary for a weekend in August that supersedes a hen party in importance.

Daisybell1 · 03/07/2014 22:10

I had all sorts of odd feelings after mine (2 erpcs and 1 natural) - for several months afterwards I had a dragging sensation and felt I had to give everything a good old pelvic floor hitch (tmi)

DulcetMoans · 03/07/2014 21:39

I know oneday, it is a bit odd to just be left here now. I was due for ERPC Monday but scan showed it wasn't needed after the weekend. So then it was just a case of walking out of the hospital with nothing. Not even a piece of paper! Felt really strange.

Uterus thing makes sense, I hadn't thought about that. Not sure it's worth going to doctors and I guess my need for EPU has been removed anyway. Ill ride it out, it's probably all normal.

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 03/07/2014 21:29

Dulcet like boozle I also had ERPC but had period pains initially and have had some pulling type pains on the odd occasion. Am assuming this is my uterus shrinking back to size?

Can also vouch for the information on the miscarriage association website. DH was really sweet and printed off the 'your feelings after miscarriage' leaflet on Monday (aka mini meltdown day) and it was brilliant.

Can you speak with your gp or even the EPU? I do find it so bizarre that (speaking for myself) there is no follow up after a mc. Not even a chat with the GP or a nurse as routine. It's terrible. No wonder we google!

Treaclepie19 · 03/07/2014 21:12

Dulcet, i found I had all sorts of pains. Some like a period and some nothing like.
I hope it passes soon for you x

Boozle80 · 03/07/2014 21:10

Hey Dulcet I had ERPCs so not too sure - I found the miscarriage association had loads of info about what to expect though - they were a bit of a life saver as the hospital told me naff all!

DulcetMoans · 03/07/2014 21:07

Tent shagging is worse when the weather is nice - too hot and sticky!

The problem with illness excuse for hen dos is you would probably have paid your money by then. You will both need to be 'busy' for some reason. Or, fess up and say its too much money.

I can't tell what any of my pains are anymore! It's a week tomorrow when my miscarriage started and I'm not really bleeding much but I have aches and pains that I don't know if they are related. Should it be more like a period now I have passed the baby? Didn't really get much info on what happens next!

LadyH84 · 03/07/2014 20:59

Thanks Ladies! It's true 18 weeks not long, but add the 8 week of being pregnant last MC the 6 months trying for that one, the 12 weeks pregnant before number 1 MC the 9 months trying for that one and it's 2 years :-( life is a bloody bitch!!!!!!!!! Losing heart, when I started this journey I was sooooo nervous about getting pregnant, now .,,.ughhhh would love to slap someone with a fish right now! Life is a massive knob cheese.

Hope you have fun camping, I have a houseful of men in Lycra this weekend! Still I least I can have several big fat drinks and admire the view

greysar · 03/07/2014 20:59

DH and I are booked in for glamping for our anniversary in September- hopefully won't be an issue by that point!

Can I admit to a teenage-like snigger at Boozle pitching a tent for her OH to pitch a tent? Hur hur hur...

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 03/07/2014 20:54

Definite thumbs up for shagging in the tent. If it works, maybe we should all try it alfresco to get upduffed?!

Boozle80 · 03/07/2014 20:05

Even better, I'm pitching my tent in our school grounds...

Monten · 03/07/2014 19:59

TdF can JTFO.

I totally endorse shagging in tents, even if you're a teacher. Just don't do it slightly pissed like I did, and wake the next morning a bit shamefaced because you're not sure exactly how loud you may or may not have been.

Lou07708 · 03/07/2014 19:56

boozle haaaaaaa!!! Teacher shagging in a tent!! Oh you ladies keep me laughing!!!

lady don't lose hope. 18wks post mc seems like ages but in terms of ttc it's seems fairly normal. Try to stay positive Smile

Treaclepie19 · 03/07/2014 19:56

Boozle, I'd say yes! Haha.
I'm off out on a trip with my nursery class tomorrow. Should be fun :)
What to wear...

I am so convinced I'm pregnant its unreal. I know it's probably just me being hopeful though.

Boozle80 · 03/07/2014 19:54

You do begin to feel slightly nuts don't you? I blame pretty much everything that happens in your cycle having similar symptoms to pregnancy - doesn't help us really does it! Oh, and I also blame TdF!

Monten · 03/07/2014 19:51

boozle my 'symptoms' started the day after we dtd. I'm so glad of MN otherwise I realise would think I was going insane. It's so easy to do though isn't it?!

greysar and foxtrot can you just be honest and say I'm sorry that is more than I can spend, can i just come for part of Iit and not spend a fortune on bloody life drawing?! I personally think it is really rude to expect people to spend so much. As lou say, whatever happened to a few drinks and a pat on the back?

Boozle80 · 03/07/2014 19:51

I'm also going to camp but I'm due to ov this weekend I think! Do you reckon, as a teacher, I'm still allowed to shag in a tent? I'll be super quiet!

Boozle80 · 03/07/2014 19:50

Where are you watching it Daisy? The weather is indeed due to be shit!

LadyH84 · 03/07/2014 19:48

So ladies, posted a few days ago.....convinced I was pregnant, symptoms all over the show. Just got AF ..... I'm devastated! That's now 18 weeks since last MC! I feel like a crazy ass bitch! I am convinced every time that I am going to get BFP and even when I see blood ....I'm still optimistically hoping its implantation. I have been feeling sick, faint, dore boobs?!!!! Is it possible to just be bloody making that up!!!!!!! I've never been crazy now I'm just plain nuts!!! another month gone by so sad :-(

Daisybell1 · 03/07/2014 19:44

Poor Boozle - we've got a campsite booked for tdf this weekend but I'm on the verge of wimping out. The weather's really bad tomorrow and I'm scared of trying to camp in it and then I don't know if I can handle the sheer number of people. ..

Boozle80 · 03/07/2014 19:32

Hey all! How's everyone doing on this sunny Thursday? I've got a JTFO - tour de bloody France! Nothing to do with anything other than we've been doing it at school FOREVER! It comes past school so everyone's in hyperdrive. Doing. My. Head. In!!
Other than that can anyone tell me why I'm symptom spotting when I haven't even ov'd yet?! I swear my boobs hurt! WTF is that about?! Think I must be loosing the plot! Think this deserves a salmon slap! I blame the Tour de France - that's what I'm blaiming everything on today!

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 03/07/2014 19:31

Oh ladies, I know your right! I knew you'd have good advise and not think I'm bonkers for wanting to try again straight away. I've just done another test and it's definitely getting more and more faint. It's all so confusing!

lou I've definitely made the most of the wine - and the steak and prawns too, mmmm!

Re the hen do's. £220 is a lot of money! I really hate this culture of cramming in so many activities and having really expensive hen and stags. DH and I are at that age where a lot of friends have got married over the last few years and the cost of the hen and stags is huge! Could you fake a sickness? D&V is always good as no one wants to know the details!
