The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Will read back in a bit. Af came so I feel crap. It's just brought everything flooding back.

Anyway, back on after parents evening!

Hope26 · 09/07/2014 16:10

Cb37 still not AF maybe I didn't ovulate at all? Doctors appt tomorrow I will ask for a blood test

Lou07708 · 09/07/2014 14:42

Who would like TMI....
Went too loo, creamy pink cm on pants. This is either implantation or period.
When I fell pregnant, I didn't even know as I got the same stuff and assumed it was AF, just really light as only just off the pill and I didn't test. I am defo POAS Sat, Fri - clearly keeping in spirit of things!!!

Brummiegirl15 · 09/07/2014 13:38

That's a good idea Lou

If you tell yourself you are expecting a bfn when you get it, it shouldn't be a shock

Hmm will consider it

Lou07708 · 09/07/2014 13:27

brummie I think I have been testing early as a way of getting used to the idea of bfn. Not that I am suggesting you will get bfn, just for me, seeing negative loads if times is better than waiting and seeing it.

Monten · 09/07/2014 12:49

lou it's due to get much better from weds of next week - the day we leave!!! So looking good for you. It's utterly pointless getting cross about the weather but I just can't help it!!

dulcet I think 2 weeks is quite normal. Fx it won't be too long for you, the waiting is the worst bit.

DulcetMoans · 09/07/2014 12:33

My pg tests arrived from ebay so I just did one. Still showing as pg. How long does it take to disappear? I am exactly two weeks since I found out I had MMC, naturally passed two days later so that is 12 days ago. Any idea how long it should take? Can see yours took two weeks english so maybe not long to go.

Can't help with the temping I am afraid boozle as never did it. Sounds like some others here know what they are talking about though!

Brummiegirl15 · 09/07/2014 12:32

I'm desperate to POAS!

The last time I got pregnant I tested positive on day 22 of my cycle. Well today is day 22 and all I can think is that I want to POAS.

However the fear of seeing it come up as a bfn is keeping me in line.....

Lou07708 · 09/07/2014 12:29

monten I am in France next week and I'll be screaming "whyyyyyy meee" if the weather is crap!
I have managed not to POAS again today. Will do on Friday. In addition, I have convinced myself I am not pregnant. Thinking this is a win win way of protecting myself from a complete meltdown post holiday!!

Monten · 09/07/2014 10:54

Hi ladies, thanks for your advice, as ever you are all right. We have made up so all seems okay now.

smiling I'm sorry about your stressy house purchase. It really is awful. I'm with you on the 'its not fair' front - we're in France and the weather is crap - and I have found myself thinking, more than once, after all we've been through the fucking sun can't even be bothered to show its face!!

I wonder how the pregnant ladies are doing? virgo daisy and tanny if you're reading this would be great to know how you're getting on.

I keep waking up convinced af is starting but it never does. I've managed to convince myself I'm pregnant - I'm so worried what'll happen if I get af. I wish I had brought tests with me now!!

Happy Wednesday everyone

Boozle80 · 09/07/2014 09:19

That's super annoying Treacle it'd be fine if it was the other way but not that way! Happy Wednesday everyone!

Boozle80 · 09/07/2014 09:06

I've attached my temp chart - it's a bit all over the place but I ov'd two days ago. I use fertility friend which is pretty simple - still sometimes really hard to interpret though!

Marmaladecat1 · 09/07/2014 08:29

Alas I never seem to sleep long enough to temp effectively.
Was really crampy last night with back ache to match.
This morning nothing..minus a bfn! I never learn!
Also managed to pull something on my right side in my hip area. Ow! Hanging on my side walking to work. Great.

Nice one boozle!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 09/07/2014 07:41

Apps like Feetiltiy Friend are really useful,
It doesn't necessarily always dip before ovulation but there will be a clear shift in temp, lower temps before ov and higher after due to increased progesterone.

Negative hpt!! 2 weeks post erpc! Now hopefully I'll ovulate normally and DH and I can get shagging!

Good effort Boozle! 1 & a half hours is incredible!!

Hope26 · 09/07/2014 07:19

How do you ladies record it? And what cycle day do you start temping ? So when you ovulate your temperature goes low?

Treaclepie19 · 09/07/2014 07:02

I do temp hope, it shows whether you have ovulated at least. Although this month I am having a tricky time with my chart. Possibly only 9dpo not 12dpo. Grr.

Boozle80 · 08/07/2014 23:24

Hope you take your temp every morning before you get up and when you ov it dips and then goes up again for at least three days afterwards it might dip again for implantation too. It can't tell you that you're about to ov but it does tell you when you have which can be nice to know

Boozle80 · 08/07/2014 23:21

I've just sat with my arse in the air for an hour and a half. My legs have gone dead!

Hope26 · 08/07/2014 22:53

The tww is the worst but for me it's like the 4ww hahahhaha I think I'm losing the plot

Hope26 · 08/07/2014 22:51

Trea - I don't temp, how do you temp? Maybe I should start, I'm dependant on the clearblue ovulation sticks.. I'm so fed up already.

Brazil lost 7-1 .. What the hell happened lol shocking

Brummiegirl15 · 08/07/2014 20:42

Evening all - sorry been so quiet - been away with work for 2 days.

My AF is due is just under a week - reckon I'm going to POAS maybe Sunday / Monday. Stretch out as long as I can... But the tww is killing me....

Boozle80 · 08/07/2014 20:38

I'm just starting my tww. Feel like I'm going to go mental already! Please can you all line the fish up for me?! I'm SO desperate for this to work!

Treaclepie19 · 08/07/2014 20:31

hope, do you temp?
So sorry you're going through this :(

I'm wondering if the same might happen to me. I had an af after the mc but on 11dpo and my luteal phase is never longer than 10dpo. Hoping it's because I'm pregnant. We will see.

EnglishGirlsReturned · 08/07/2014 20:30

My cycles were crazy after first mc too. I was only ovulating every other month!! The cycle before I got my bfp was 45 days!!

Why can't our cycles get shorter after the mc?? Why longer!! Mother Nature is a bloody bitch!!

broodylicious · 08/07/2014 19:36

smiling I know the feeling hun, you're not alone! We are the middle of our chain - buyer has no chain, neither does the seller - so should have all been done and dusted by now but our solicitors for our purchase are ridic slow. We had to use them as a stipulation of our mortgage offer but we will never go with them again. It's such stress hun, give yourself a break and take things easy. It'll all be worth it in the end folk tell me xx WineBrewThanks
