Anyone else about to take the plunge and stop bc pills?

Ive read another thread with interest about ttc after the pill & saw that a couple of posters were about to stop their bc pills so thought a new thread might be in order!
Im getting married in August & currently finishing my last packet of Yasmin. Excited & nervous all at the same time!

So who's with me?

No news this end. Feeling hopeful as the ovia app says I'm ovulating so will wait and see. Smile

Hi just u wait and see. This cycle using cbfm cd8 and have poas for 3 days. 3 lows as expected for this time in cycle. Am also taking 2000mg epo and will use conceive plus. I'm hoping my army will make this a success Grin

Going to start dtd tomoz and shoot for eod till cd 21 assuming this is end of highs on cbfm. Hoping peak will b in there to Grin

No news here still early in my cycle. Doing clear blue ovluation test to see if that helps things. Off the greece for holidays.

Hi all - just stopping by to see how things are going? Catnip hasn't been around for the last couple of days so have been a little bit lonely over on the other thread.

What strategies are you guys trying this month? (I know I've said this before but I think it was the conceive plus lube which helped us in the end...) Smile

Hi freedom so if u have limited ewcm it helps with this and is suppose to regulate ur hormones. Only use it from cd1 to ovulation though as after thiS it has been linked to miscarriage

Hey next chapter, freedom and welcome Emily.

Emily gd luck in the journey as u can see some ladies fall v quick but others of us r still hanging about.

Cycle 4 for me day 5, start with cbfm tomorrow yippee hoping it will help me understand cycle. Also taking epo this cycle which I have had recommended. Freedom hope ur right on hpthe jump off.

Okay so turns out im new to this and didn't even know there was 11 pages!

Like i said i took my last pill (Yasmin) 3 days ago and I'm going for naturally trying to start with don't want to put too much pressure on myself to start with. Me and my OH are also keeping it a secret like a lot of you so will really help me to chat to you girls! Congrats on the BFP's, may you have a happy healthy pregnancy xx

Thank you, I want to start testing for I ovulation, but presume have to wait for AF then test after that?

no news for me same old same old DTD and waiting. will start ovulation testing next week.

Just a quick update from me: I tested today & it was negative, so presume the boobs like rocks & sore is some coming of the pill symptom! Roll on AF...

I did get the ovia prompt justyoywait but haven't clicked to accept yet. Is it useful? DH never checks his emails so i suspect the alerts would go unopened if i did sign him up (men eh!) its a really nice idea though

Great! Were you signed up to the Ovia conception app? If so, it should prompt you to start the Ovia pregnancy app when you tell it you're pregnant. Then there is an option to add in your partner's email so they also get daily emails about what is happening in the pregnancy. My DH loves it, and even booked my midwife appointment for me because a prompt arrived on a day I was working and he was at home!

i haven't done a cb test yet justyouwait but yes i think may 13th is about right. DH was delighted had lots of questions about dating the pregnancy, what the next steps should be for antenatal care etc. I think i need to get him a book or something!
