Anyone else about to take the plunge and stop bc pills?

Ive read another thread with interest about ttc after the pill & saw that a couple of posters were about to stop their bc pills so thought a new thread might be in order!
Im getting married in August & currently finishing my last packet of Yasmin. Excited & nervous all at the same time!

So who's with me?

Last pill I took was 10th of November n had withdrawal bleed the 14th for a week. Yeh I have 3 apps. My days,ovia and another one I forget. I like ovia really good :)

When did you come off the pill? Apps like Ovia can help you start to track your data and likely ovulation dates. I guess it is always possible (if you haven't started your period) but sometimes it can take your body a while to find its natural rhythm.

Thanks justyouwaitandsee. I did a pregnancy test yesterday n it was negative. Problem is that I don't know when I ovulated or if I even did. I do feel cramp n bloated and I had a withdrawal bleed straight away and if I go by that then il be due period this friday so I think the red flag will be out soon. Maybe January il get some better luck or does anybody think i still have a chance this month? x

Hi everyone I'm new so bear with me with the abbreviations etc lol Basically my story is that after a lot of migraines the doctor ordered that I finish taking the pill (rigevidon) so my partner of 4 and a half years and I decided that now would be the time we started trying,we were always going to but there was never a right time because id just started a business recently. this felt like fate lol and i started thinking I'm getting older (30 next month) and I don't want the reason that we didn't have a child together to be because I was too busy working! Anyway. ..we started trying last month so fingers crossed for soon. I already have two boys from a previous relationship age 6 and 8 (I must be mad??) Nice to read everyone's posts and more importantly good luck to you all :)

Hello no AF (Ovia has stopped counting, but I think this is about CD140) and need to book another appointment. Just bought some cheap ovulation sticks so feel like I'm taking charge. I might try acupuncture as there are lots of positive stories on here. Was also wondering about taking SIs to try to kick start things - I did take a very small dose for a few days but it didn't do anything. How are things going for you?

Did you change surgeries or any sign of af yet?

I went in early October and she said come back in two or three months (can't remember which). I've never felt anything but fobbed off by my surgery, so not holding out any hope of help. However, from reading on here there is medication to kick start AF and ovulation, so perhaps chane surgeries and try again. It's so annoying - if I was I obese or a smoker they would help :(

Congrats WantTo! Well I'm still here, waiting for AF after coming off Yasmin - on CD 130 now Sad GP refuses to help at present. At least I've had a couple of instances of EWCM which is better than no CM at all. It's difficult to see all the 2ww threads and people stressing about it - what I wouldn't give to actually have a proper cycle and a 2ww!

Forgot to update! I got my bfp on Monday at 10dpo, 5 days before af due! Af due tomorrow and no sign. Pg tests now stronger than control and have midwife appt booked forcdecember. All very surreal - only month 2 off pill! Good luck ladies, we have a thread waiting for you on the an board :)
