Twinkle toes I'm on CD11 so about the same.

So who is an expert in OPKs? It's my first month of doing them properly. Have done one last four days ( am on CD11) now, except today it is lighter than last few days. Any ideas?
No positive yet so am hoping will start to get darker but wondered if others have found they are sometimes a bit lover the place?
I've just got eBay cheapy ones and have done them after not weeing for a good few hrs about 2 in afternoon.
Advise anyone?

Well AF arrived last night, ridiculously overdue. Who knows what is going on with my cycle! Not too disappointed because 3 BFNs was a big hint that this wasn't to be THE month. Onwards and upwards...

FreeSpirit89 · 06/07/2014 10:58

Hi KB,

Were currently trying for number 2, DS is 4 and a halfm, were on first cycle of trying, mirena came out Thursday:).

Good luck x

CD 10 waiting to ovulate now - itching for it this month - who else is waiting to ovulate ?

This month guna try and not stress myself out by overly testing !!

BouncyBabe98 · 06/07/2014 09:08

Thanks.. CD39 still no period and another BFN... gonna go out today and just try to enjoy DC and not think about it...easier said than done... I am already wondering when the OPK will arrive!

fishfingerSarnies · 06/07/2014 01:15

Hey bouncy try and think positive maybe it's a case of no news is good news... (Af being the 'news' as it were) crossing fingers for you. X

BouncyBabe98 · 05/07/2014 20:58

Thanks Roz... Having a few glasses of nice wine to cheer me up tonight actually! :)

RozTheSchnoz · 05/07/2014 18:56

Aw Bouncy -I'm here with you ThanksWine

BouncyBabe98 · 05/07/2014 08:37

CD 38 that is... In starting to feel like that guy who does the big brother commentary!

BouncyBabe98 · 05/07/2014 08:36

I'm now on day 38 and still no AF or BFP this is so frustrating ... FFS body sort it out

RozTheSchnoz · 05/07/2014 06:53

11 days late and just had my 3rd BFN. God knows what's going on with my cycle. Guess we just need to carry on DTD?!

BlinkAndMiss · 04/07/2014 23:59

I everyone, ttc no. 2 and on my 2nd cycle (ish, wasn't really trying last month apart from no precautions). My DS is 19 months and was conceived first cycle last time so I'm not used to this either!

I'm on CD12 according to my app but we'll see. I've been a bit irregular since Xmas for some reason and last month my cycle was 35 days instead of 28 so that would make a difference I think.

Anyway, it's great to have people to chat to about this. It's not like we can discuss half of this in RL! DH and I have agreed to be really relaxed about this - however, this lasted about 5 minutes. I've downloaded an app and I'm currently pricing up fertility monitors! I also know I'll have a bag of cheapy tests ordered before the weekend is out :).

Good luck to everyone :)

Bobs76 · 04/07/2014 22:23

Thank you for the link pinpan now I understand the abbreviations.

pinpan · 04/07/2014 21:38

There's a list of acronyms here. I look at it a lot! Grin

BouncyBabe98 · 04/07/2014 17:13

Blondie scrap that I googled it as I am so impatient. Have bought some cheap ones from amazon so might try this month to find out what the hell is going on down there! :)

BouncyBabe98 · 04/07/2014 17:00

Blondie what is opk? :S still trying to get to grips with terms

BouncyBabe98 · 04/07/2014 16:55

funnily enough I noticed a lot of the EWCM (thanks fifa) about 2 weeks ago... could that have been that then? 2 weeks ago would have been about day 21/22/23 of my cycle if my maths is right which just seems too late to ovulate for me - to be honest though I am not that clued up about ovulation etc - could that have been possible?

I am still getting some discharge but I noticed some really gloopy discharge around that time which I def don't have at the mo. Ordered a load of tests from amazon today (the cheap ones) just did one and still negative... come on BFP or period please. it is now 37 days of this cycle....

Blondie276 · 04/07/2014 14:01

Fifiole it's the day of your cycle ( ie cycle day ....)
It took me ages of reading before I could work out all the acronyms lol!
Bouncy I never did opk before as I fell straight away with DD but since return of my AFs I've done them- I'd recommend to start working out what's going on through your cycle - I just bought cheapy ones from eBay. This month I'm also taking my temp every morning and I must say I've learnt more since doing it although I know for some it can get a bit obsessive ( I have a tendency!) lol

ChristinaYang · 04/07/2014 13:59

fifi CD = Cycle Day. CD1 is the first day of your period Smile

Talking of EWCM - I have a lot but my montior is giving me low readings, what to trust, my body or monitor?

fififolle · 04/07/2014 13:35

Bouncy EWCM is egg white cervical mucus, the increased discharged which occurs at the time you ovulate.
I've managed to figure out most of the others but can't figure CD followed by a number.

BouncyBabe98 · 04/07/2014 12:54

Will be a :) if this is my month though. Run out of tests though so no test today but I really don't think I am.

BouncyBabe98 · 04/07/2014 12:54

Sorry to be dumb but what is a EWCM? Day 37 for me still no sign of AF :(

Blondie276 · 04/07/2014 10:58

Bouncing - just read your post. I had my DD in dec. I BF for 2 months and the. Got my first period end march. They haven't been right since returning but GP said it just takes time for them to settle. My have been regular but I don't think I've been OV as I've not had EWCM etc , which I used to have no problems with! ( I fell first time with DD)
I was told just to be patient which is far easier said than done but what I'm saying is I think it's normal. They just need time to settle. ( which I have found seriously annoying especially when TTC!)

Blondie276 · 04/07/2014 10:00

Hi all,
Can I mark my place? My DD is 6 months as we are TTC#2. On cycle 3 now with nothing and like others, am unreasonably starting to feel inpatient and like it's never going to happen.
Am OPK, temping and started acupuncture this week so hoping that will all help. Wasn't convinced I was even OV as only had 4 periods since having DD but we shall see. On CD 10- sending lots of positive vibes out to you all!

pinpan · 04/07/2014 08:46

Bouncy, mine used to be 28 days ish pre DD (never super regular though, and all over the place before I went on the pill in my early 20s). They came back when she was 10 months old at 28 days on the dot but crazy heavy compared to before. Then the very month we decided to start TTC, I dropped to a 23-25 day cycle. Hmm It does let me get more cycles in, I suppose.

Hello fififolle!
