2 DPO here. The 2 week wait feels endless!

Hi Elizabeth sorry I didn't see your post. I have been having it once a week- it does help sort of balancing and regulating my hormones but at £40 a go I'm also a bit eeeek!!

ElizabethMedora · 22/07/2014 20:43

Argh, I was feeling smugly quietly confident that I had O'd before DH went away at the weekend, but I have EWCM back again. He is back tomorrow evening… Hope we haven't totally missed the window this month after all.

Serenitysutton how often have you been having acupuncture? I've been wondering about trying it, a friend is an acupuncturist.

MrsGlitter · 22/07/2014 12:14

Hi all! Can I jump in? I'm 11 days PO, AF due on Sunday. Had a MC in June (first month of ttc) so even if I get a BFP, I can't relax until I have a baby in my arms. Nice to find others waiting (im)patiently like me though ;) x

LadderToTheMoon · 22/07/2014 10:18

I think I'm out for this month. The spotting that came and then went a few days ago is now back again. I always get spotting before my period and I'm due any day now, so reckon this won't be my month.

Serenitysutton · 20/07/2014 22:52

Hello! 5dpo cycle 7, I don't have a good feeling this month but am going to be devestated if it's not this month, 7 months of times sex and acupuncture and constant thinking planning, I am going to make a GP appointment if nothing. Sorry to be so negative

Fruityb · 20/07/2014 22:48

In the 2 ww now. Fingers crossed. Am just going to keep smiling.

I'd love to say we did it loads but it's too freaking hot on a night to even consider getting jiggy right now!

LadderToTheMoon · 20/07/2014 22:37

Elizabeth, I remember how horrid my long, irregular cycles were last time we were ttc, so I empathise with people having to wait a long time before trying again.

Good luck this time FruityB and fingers' crossed for you KeepSmiling!

I've got lots of bubbly feelings in my lower tummy. Last night I put it down to the huge pizza I ate mainly by myself, but today I'm not so sure.

KeepSmiling83 · 20/07/2014 21:06

We're on month 3 of TTC and I can feel the familiar back ache that I get before AF. Althought 3 months isn't long, we conceived our first child very quickly so I'm already starting to panic. I never worried or stressed first time round and was very relaxed which probably helped. This time round I'm already thinking that there must be a problem and panicking. Ugh I hate all this worrying and stressing!!x

Fruityb · 20/07/2014 21:05

Back on it!

ElizabethMedora · 20/07/2014 20:02

Aw bad luck buildsite. I agree though - if I'm nt going to get pregnant in a cycle I'd rather it was a short one, annoys me that my cycles are 35 days as it reduces the amount of chances I have!

Feeling pleased that my fertile signs have stopped so hopefully we didn't miss the window with DH going away... Now to put it out of my mind & wait!

ILiveOnABuildsite · 20/07/2014 16:26

Thanks Ladder silver lining is this shorter cycle means I can start trying again soon!

LadderToTheMoon · 20/07/2014 10:00

Oh I'm sorry, Buildsite. It's very possible that my spotting last night is AF coming early.

Hope you have better luck next cycle.

ILiveOnABuildsite · 20/07/2014 09:46

Right I'm out guys. Af showed up 6 days early yesterday. Thought might be spotting/implantation at first but this morning it's much heavier so I doubt it very much.

LadderToTheMoon · 20/07/2014 09:18

OK, scrap what I said above. Last night I noticed the teenyist-tiniest amount of spotting. I usually get spotting a few days before my period starts, but not this early.

Either AF is going to visit early this month, or it could be implantation bleeding. I'm back on the am I/aren't I train!

ILiveOnABuildsite · 19/07/2014 22:11

Fingers crossed for you Ladder as of tomorrow I'll have 5 days to go. No actual symptoms although it doesn't stop me imagining them anyway. Grin

LadderToTheMoon · 19/07/2014 21:02

Keeping fingers' crossed for everyone and sorry for those who need to wait until next cycle to try again.

I've got about 6 days left. Somehow I don't think this is my month though. Any feeling/possible symptoms of being pregnant immediately after ovulation have completely evaporated. But I never know!

ElizabethMedora · 19/07/2014 14:39

I never got around to taking any supplements Molly… Hopefully this is the month without it anyway… Assuming of course I have managed to O before DH departed this morning!

MollyWhuppie · 19/07/2014 13:43

I'm back too - 4dpo! Really went for it this month and took a cocktail of supplements as well as using preseed so got everything crossed. We are about 6th cycle ttc dc3 too. Let's hope it's a good month for both of us this time elizabeth

I have a 9 - 10 day LP so should know one way or the other by next weekend and if AF doesn't show will start testing on Friday even though I've never had a positive test before 12 dpo before - I just can't help myself!!

ILiveOnABuildsite · 18/07/2014 15:30

Oh welcome back ElizabethMedora good luck for your 2ww.

ElizabethMedora · 18/07/2014 15:18

I'm back on the 2WW, having posted at the very start of this thread last month! Did anyone get a BFP yet?

I don't chart or use OPK but I'm pretty sure I ovulated the other day - bloody hope so too as DH is away for 5 days from tomorrow! - so I'm counting the 2WW from now... Think this will be 6th cycle of trying for DC3...

Feeling much more relaxed so far than I have in previous months but there are around 14-21 days to go so let's see!

ILiveOnABuildsite · 18/07/2014 15:09

Okay ladies, I've caved and went out and bought a couple of boxes of poundland preg test. Af not due until Wednesdays-Thursday, I think I might indulge in an early test at weekend. I know too early but I just want to get it out of my system. At least I have the common sense to use cheap tests this time around unlike with first pregnancy where I did succumb to early testing but with two double boxes of digi test, now that wasn't clever at all. Last time I got my BFP 4 days early (with a bfn the day before) so clearly not expecting anything from the weekend but slightly hopefuls for the beginning of the week.

I know, I know I'm being immature and impulsive but really I don't care. Grin

ILiveOnABuildsite · 17/07/2014 18:28

Aaaw pasbeaucoup I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you feel better soon and ready to try again next month.

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 17/07/2014 16:50

Ah well having said a tentative hello, I'm now saying less tentative goodbye! Am bleeding a bit today, less than I would expect for af but still bleeding, and GP thinks I have gastroenteritis so I'm out, I reckon!

Good luck to those still waiting.

lilyp2014 · 16/07/2014 22:44

Sorry to hear you are feeling so down Pasbeaucoupdegendarme. Definitely best to be checked over if you're feeling unusual pain. We know our bodies, even if the tww sends us a little loopy.

Let us know how you get on and FX your discomfort is the result of a BFP!

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 16/07/2014 22:26

Hello all, am tentatively saying hello. We are trying for baby 2, supposed to be "just shagging" but I couldn't really cope with the uncertainty even of that so we went at it more meaningfully this cycle! Dd was conceived on clomid but I have had a couple of sensible cycles since coming off my pill and have been fairly certain I'm ovulating. Af is due any day and I have had horrid cramps for a week now. I tested this morning and got a bfn but I feel terribly bloated and uncomfortable, nauseous and have an upset stomach. I booked an appt with my GP for tomorrow as I've been so sore I am worried that something is wrong abdominally, pg or not. Dh is away too so I am feeling particularly weepy and alone!!
