9 (ish) dpo. sore boobs and spotty but it's always the same round about now. It would be too much to ask that I get bfp and I'd have to send back all the cb stuff Grin testing Friday.

LuluJakey1 · 20/07/2014 20:17

Try and wait cupcake or you will torment yourself testing every day.

We have had a lovely relaxing couple of days. Lots of sleep. Not a wrong word. Been for a long walk today then read in the garden. Just feel so much better.

DH wants us to rent a cottage in Yorkshire about 20 miles from his parents. He thinks I don't know what he's up to but I do. It's about, we can see them a few times but have our space and do our own thing and then it'll be 'It's nice having family a bit closer isn't it? Think how much they would help us if we lived nearer- and they'd just love to'.

He's so obvious. It does look like a nice cottage though - belongs to his friend's parents and they've had a cancellation.

Not lots lulu but I do feel somethig every day now. I panic about it every 5 mins haha. But apparently you feel it earlier second time round. With dd I never really felt anything until around 24 weeks.

When is your 20 week scan? I would make sure you ask where your placenta is because that could affect it Smile with dd it was anterior so I couldn't feel her much and didn't feel her until late, this time it's posterior so I can feel more

LuluJakey1 · 19/07/2014 20:52

Ducky do you feel him moving around lots? I haven't felt anything yet at all. 16 weeks today.

LuluJakey1 · 19/07/2014 20:50

Baby clothes are so sweet. I have been trying to avoid everything yet!

LuluJakey1 · 19/07/2014 20:49

Try not to think like that Ducky. Some people are still old fashioned about it. I am sure they would have loved DD but hoped for a boy at some point for the name thing. I do think about it. I am an only child and our family name ended when I married DH. He has suggested we give it to the baby and any other babies as a middle name - it isn't a very attractive name actually- I much prefer his surname.

But the truth is, boy or girl your baby will be much loved by you and you always knew that. He is a loved and very wanted baby.

Ducky23 · 19/07/2014 20:43

Still thinking of boys names Smile

I have already been out and spent a fortune on clothes Blush woopsie!

Ducky23 · 19/07/2014 20:42

DH and his family are over the moon, which has upset me a bit... Basically before I found out dd was a girl we got a postcard from one of his family members saying tey hope it's a boy to 'carry their name on' and then the other day all his family kept saying 'let's hope it's a boy'.

I'm happy either way as long as te baby is healthy but it just makes me think, would they not care if it was a girl? Angry And now I wonder how they felt about dd Angry

I just keep giggling about the fact I have a willy GrinGrin

LuluJakey1 · 19/07/2014 20:42

Ducky Now you can really think about names. Have you got a list? You must be so excited.

Our for a boy are:
Charles 'Charlie'
Theo
Guy
Thomas
Daniel
Isaac
Kit
George 'Geordie'
Joseph
Matthew

LuluJakey1 · 19/07/2014 20:36

Oh that's lovely Ducky. Congratulations! Was DH excited?

We can't decide if we would prefer a boy or girl, or if we want to know before it arrives. We will be happy with a healthy baby that arrives safely. DH veers between a boy - who I think he sees bringing up as an image of himself (!) - and a girl (who I know he would be a total pushover with). He genuinely is excited for either. He thinks we will just have the other one next time. has no idea how these things work

Bearsinmotion · 19/07/2014 17:52

Lovely news Flowers :)

Ducky23 · 19/07/2014 17:14
