lulu don't worry. It's a shock to the system having a toddler in the house when you're not used to it. It will be different when you have your own. A 15 month old sees no danger, likes constant entertainment and is starting to realise he has choices- I.e. doesn't have to do something if he doesn't want to. That's a challenge for anyone and it sounds like you did great. My toddler regularly doesn't eat what I have prepared in his lunch so seriously don't worry. I'm jealous of his chip butty Grin

Ducky23 · 28/06/2014 20:35

Well I don't want to raise hopes as we know on here that it can go both ways... Buuuut, hcg levels do rise and fall quickly during the first few days. My BFP was soo faint and then had almost vanished the next day, infact, if I had used an ic I would be very surprised if it wasn't a BFN on there!

When did you last test?

Maybe test at least 2 days after using fmu and a fr? Smile

Vikki1409 · 28/06/2014 20:29

Thats hopeful then ducky stomach cramps been ongoing a few days now and sore boobs about a week...

Im praying its all signs heading towards a strongbpositive :) as stilmconfused with th3 faint positive then negative x

LuluJakey1 · 28/06/2014 20:27

I hope we get a well behaved one that sleeps well.

Ducky23 · 28/06/2014 20:23

Youl still be spending time together but as a family instead of a couple Smile do you have any close friends nearby who hae children? They may be able to help out?

I'm very lucky and live very close to all my family who are all willing to help out.

Maybe I should be more worried though haha

LuluJakey1 · 28/06/2014 20:20

Duckey Does it worry you what it will be like? I am worried about me and DH not having time for each other. Today we just lay on the bed and had a cuddle after he had gone, but if he was ours we would have been constantly with him.

I asked his mum if they ever get time together and she said they do lots of things separately - one stays with him while the other one goes out. Their parents live close by so they get nights out sometimes. She said he is a bad sleeper and they are always tired so often can't be bothered to go out.

DH and I don't have family here. His parents live in Yorkshire, as does his sister. I am an only child and my parents are dead. I am quite scared after today. We'll cope and we really want this but it seemed so hard.

Ducky23 · 28/06/2014 20:20

Villi AF type cramps are a sign of pg Smile I had them up until around week 6/7

Vikki1409 · 28/06/2014 20:13

Thanks every one new I wasn't imagining the line and over thinking gain as TTC seems to make us do :/

Well I havnt done another test Still feel as though AF going to spring upon me anytime should have been here by now so will wait until mon if still no AF wil test again eeeek fingers crossed u can't bare the disappointment :(

Baby dust sent to all TTC x x

Ducky23 · 28/06/2014 20:07

Hahaha Grin

I'm sure when it's your own lulu it will all come together nicely Smile he was probably misbehaving to test you and see what he could get away with

LuluJakey1 · 28/06/2014 19:59

I don't know how we will cope. We are used to peace and quiet and doing what we like. How do you make them do things you want them to do?
He wouldn't eat what his mum wanted him to have.
He wouldn't walk nicely- kept running off.
Just said 'no' and smiled cutely if he didn't want to do it. DH tried being firm and then I tried but we kept giving in.
It was a real eye opener.
Think DH is considering leaving and getting himself a flat!

Ducky23 · 28/06/2014 19:54

Haha lulu!!!Grin

We had our friends 9 month old over the other day Blush made me realise I need a completely new lounge Blush he was grabbing EVERYTHING and throwing them or smashing them off the floor! Even grabbed DH phone and just started wacking it off the wooden floors Blush

And the SCREAMING!!!! Omg the screaming Shock

LuluJakey1 · 28/06/2014 19:53

And he wanted to play all the time but not by himself. DH has kicked a ball around, been a tiger, run along the beach to make sure he didn't go in the water, been climbed all over, had his ears pulled, his goolies jumped on and been wee'ed on.
Bloody buggies! You have to haul them everywhere. Everything is harder to do.

What have we done! Grin

LuluJakey1 · 28/06/2014 19:45

Well, I am shocked by a day with a 15 month old. We have looked after a friend's little boy today. We are shell-shocked. He never stopped once from 11-4 pm. We are exhausted and have had to have a lie down. Shock
Turns out we are rubbish at:

Being firm
Feeding routines
Changing nappies
Entertaining children
Talking to them

We have not got a clue! We have no stamina at all. He ran everywhere, shrieked, pulled the cats' tails, almost ran into the sea when we took him for a walk, peed in the air onto DH, would not eat his lunch and we gave him chips and bread and butter instead Blush
He was very cute when he wanted a cuddle and he was funny but we are totally exhausted. And the noise! OMG the noise!

kitkatkaty87 · 28/06/2014 19:26

That's good. Well done. We told my parents last night as they were making some french salad for dinner and I knew I wouldn't be able to eat anything. They were so happy :) I ate bread and butter for dinner in the end!
Domino's went down surprisingly well. Dont think i could stomach a prawn probably not even looking at one!

How was the journey tori? Puke free?

kitkatkaty87 · 28/06/2014 18:21

Thanks Hullkat, I can't stomach any tea at the moment!
We have had a rubbish day. All that rain caused problems with our gutters and drain and I was baling out water from outside to stop it flooding into our conservatory. Got soaking wet and freezing cold. Now the dog has put muddy footprints all through the lounge. I'm feeling mega stressed as dont know how to sort out the drain problem and still sick. Sorry moan over. Just a bad day. hope everyone elses day id better!
Hullkat can you get a superdrug test and do it :)
I managed to eat some grapes which is healthy yay! Going to attempt a dominos pizza. Not so healthy.

HullKat · 28/06/2014 16:55

I've had hardly any symptoms compared to the usual, just a bit of cramping and slightly sore BBs. What made me wonder was this intense hunger I've had the last couple of days at work, even after a decent breakfast, I've scoffed my lunch well before 9am! LOL. Is this normal????
Lillamyy, looking at some of the feint BFP pics I've had a look at, some people aren't getting theirs until 18 dpo sometimes. Keep the faith x

Ducky23 · 28/06/2014 16:46

I think I got my very very faint at 15 - 16 dpo, so would hae been after AF due Smile

Bearsinmotion · 28/06/2014 16:40

I got a BFN the day after AF was due, then a BFP a week later, it can't be that uncommon!

lillamyy1 · 28/06/2014 16:31

kitkat sorry you're still poorly Thanks
Would some very plain soup or broth be ok maybe?

lillamyy1 · 28/06/2014 16:29

Thanks Cupcake and Hullkat!
Ducky didn't you get a few bfns even after AF was due before your bfp?

HullKat · 28/06/2014 15:27

Sorry to hear you're struggling with the sickness/nausea kitkat, have you tried Chinese tea with sugar? That's the most up close pic I can get on my phone without it going out of focus. I'm not sure if I'm 8 dpo or 10 dpo, as I've got two diff dates, one with the CB trial and other on FF. I'll do another POAS in the morning and see how I fare. I'm really not sure and I'm not getting my hopes up
