I'm feeling sick as a dog again today. Nothing seems to help. I don't know how I am going to face work on Monday. I will keep gagging at everything and being sick I think. I don't get paid for sick days so I don't really want to take anymore.

lillamyy1 · 29/06/2014 10:23

Sorry to hear about your insomnia bears.
I woke up really early this morning even though I was out last night and didn't get to bed until late.
Having a bit of a shit weekend - feeling reeeeeally tetchy and hormonal and my housemate's girlfriend is here who I can't stand (she's really opinionated and arrogant) So I don't want to go into my own living room!!! DP still asleep and will be for a few more hours I expect... Might have to take myself out for breakfast. All I want to do is watch TV and paint my nails in the living room Angry housemate had also used up all the laundry liquid and fabric softener that I bought!!! Angry
He's only here for another 2 weeks though thank god!

Sorry, rant over!

Bearsinmotion · 29/06/2014 08:19

We had that too Tori but we never made it! I like the idea but it was just too much of an effort!

I am worried about being at home with 2 of them - with DD we went to baby classes every day from about 4 weeks I'm easily bored, don't know what I'll do with a newborn and a 3yo!

Cupcake92 · 29/06/2014 08:10

Haha Bears! 7 is deffo a lie in for me too! I get so happy if DS sleeps in till 7!
As for cinema, I've not been at all since DS has been born!
When the new Minion film comes out (apparently next year) I'll go with DS and see that! :p he loves the minions!
What time does ur DD normally get up?

Tori that sounds like a really good idea! Wish my cinema did a mother and baby showing!

cupcake lilla We have made a list of things we are going to do in the next 6 months to enjoy ourselves on the basis we might not get a chance again for 20 years?
Have a month in south west France this summer and just enjoy every minute.
Have lots of lies in at weekends
As much sex as we can squeeze in
Nights out with friends
Date nights
Enjoy the peace and quiet at home.

Am wishing we had got a jack russell puppy now instead- so is DH. Wink

Bearsinmotion · 29/06/2014 00:16

Have got really bad insomnia again here. Had it for the last few weeks and took herbal nytol, now worried as you shouldn't take it in early pregnancy :(

But was up from 4 am yesterday, and awake from 1am to 4am the night before :( I manage to get to sleep ok just not stay asleep. Seeing Dr on Tuesday but I don't think there is anything she can do. Terrified it will be like this for another 8 months :( :( :(

Ducky23 · 28/06/2014 22:54

Did you not have a party last time?

Cupcake92 · 28/06/2014 22:16

Me and DH have decided in a couple years time to renew our vowels!! :) and actually have a proper wedding!! 3 course meal, after party, flowers the lot! We sort of just went to the registry office and had a quick marriage it was a spare of the moment thing and all our family weren't there so will be nice to share it with them this time :) can't wait!!
Going to start looking at venues!

Welcome pots!
Vicki sounds like you need to test again! Is yur AF late?
Lulu your story made me laugh! I'm sure it's not nearly so bad when it's your own kid. I once heard someone say that kids are like farts - you don't mind your own but you can't stand anyone else's!!
Well I found my internet cheapies at last - they'd fallen down the back if my chest of drawers. Have tried one but still bfn. I hate waiting!! ??????

Ducky23 · 28/06/2014 21:42

Hi roast Smile fingers crossed for you!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

I'm sitting watching 'dh' get wasted.
How lovely Hmm

roastpots · 28/06/2014 21:32

Hi everyone, Mind if I join you? I've got a 13 month old DD and we have just decided to start trying again. Feeling a weird mix of scared and excited by the propsect! Just got af for the first time since starting to try. Last time took 10 months of trying so we'll see what happens this time. Lovely to see how many recent BFPs there are on here. Smile

poppet85 · 28/06/2014 21:27

Lulu whenever Ive helped look after peopled kids I am always so tired after but I think it is harder when they're other peoples kids you cant be as bossy and they just think your being funny !!

Cupcake92 · 28/06/2014 21:03

Kitkat my worst week for ms was week 9 as I also had bad back pain!

Lulu bless u! It's harder when it's other peoples children than ur own! Trust me :)

Thanks Bugaboom I did wonder if suddenly having a toddler had made it more extreme than starting with a baby and adapting gradually. we aren't a fussy, regimented pair, we don't live in a spotless house and are pretty relaxed and easy going and we thought that would work to our advantage with a baby because we wouldn't be stressing.

We weren't stressed actually, it was funny. But we were exhausted. Smile

Ducky23 · 28/06/2014 20:59

Sorry vikki, fmu is first morning urine and fr is first response.

When was AF due? after waiting that long id maybe say your ok to test again?

I don't trust the internet cheapies too much if thats what you were using

Fingers crossed!! Smile
