Thanks cupcake Smile Thanks

Hope your cramps ease off. You can see why people who don't know they are pg initially think af is coming with all the cramps etc x

iamdivergent · 25/07/2014 07:13

My stats for new thread:

iamdivergent ttc #3, heading into cycle 8 (currently cycle 7, cd29). I am also going to be taking part in the Clearblue trial. Brew

I got woke up by the bloody cat today! Literally wouldn't leave me alone and wanted to lick my face. Haha. Everytime I put him outside our bedroom he'd be straight back in and on the bed.

Having a couple of cramps this morning.
I realise how u all felt now. In this sort of limbo not knowing if everything's alright in there, and got to wait ages till 12 week scan ! :(

And I was thinking the same thing Ducky :( I'm sure some of us have disappeared.

Bearsinmotion · 25/07/2014 05:47

Tori, that's lovely, I'd be delighted to get that!

Hope DH has behaved himself last night cupcake!

Is anyone testing today? We should do some more stats, we'll need them for a new thread soon!

Pregnancy insomnia here again, boo! Oh well, nearly the weekend! We're taking DD to London on Saturday, she's really excited because we're going on a train! Hope she's not too disappointed that it's not Thomas!

Cupcake92 · 24/07/2014 21:09

That makes me feel so old Cupcake. He is just 20. When I was 20, I wasn't very grown up and didn't handle lots of things well.

Will he apologise to your mum too?

LuluJakey1 · 24/07/2014 19:24

It is young Cupcake and hopefully as he grows up he'll handle emotions better.

Mind you, I have one here who is 35 and having a little huff after a few words where we have disagreed about something really annoying he does all the time which he denies outright he does at all. I and his sister both clearly just make this up and of course he will be right Huff on DH Grin

Cupcake92 · 24/07/2014 18:01

DH never said anything at all before he went work. He text me on his break saying sorry and that he can't wait for another little peanut.
But he shouldn't have acted like that at all towards me or my mom.

Lulu he's going to be 21 on Monday. Young I know!! His immaturity reminds me of how young he is each day!
I need an older man I rele do. Lol

I am ok just a bit of an upset stomach. Thank you.
Cupcake I am really pissed off with your DH and I don't even know him. How old is he?
He needs to learn how to deal with emotions without being horrible to you. Just not fair.

Ducky23 · 24/07/2014 16:19

Hope your feeling better lulu

And cupcake, did your DH say anything about what happened? I think the AF type cramp is completely normal, I had them up until around 8 ish weeks I think

Siarie · 24/07/2014 15:38

I was sneaking in here to read your great story cupcake of how you surprised your DH only to find that he has been a massive twat. I don't know how you ladies deal with that sort of guy, if me and my DH don't agree we talk about it and come to a compromise.

You need a nice calm, stressless time right now so he needs to man up and stop being a jerk. It sounds like you are used to it and used to how he is so I'm sure he will be nice again shortly. It's a good thing there are ladies out there who are happy to deal with that kind of crap otherwise these men would not have any partners!

Cupcake92 · 24/07/2014 15:21

He always thinks people will think he's a bad dad. He doesn't believe in himself.
He's at work now, DS is in bed, cleaning is all done :) and I'm contemplating on whether I should have the leftover pizza hmm....

Yes lulu the cramps have stopped now. Felt just like AF cramps, got me a little bit worried! I took another test just in case. Still pg!! Lol! :p
I have work tomorrow and would love to tell all my old people but I'm going to keep hush till my scan. They'll love looking at the scan picture :)

Hope ur alright lulu n belly ache has gone.
Hope everybody is having a lovely day :)

OP posts:
LuluJakey1 · 24/07/2014 15:11

Cupcake - what on earth is the matter with him? Is he a good dad or does he know he isn't, so is sensitive to anything he thinks might confirm someone else thinks he isn't.

Are you OK? Have the cramps stopped?

I have been out with a friend and have come back feeling a bit grotty with a stomach ache- I think it is digestive rather than pregnancy. Am having a lie down. DH has gone to play tennis.

Cupcake92 · 24/07/2014 10:54

He's always a dick Ducky lol!
I'm getting really bad cramps :( it's worrying me. Feels like ba AF cramps. :( :(

OP posts:
Ducky23 · 24/07/2014 10:32

Omgggg cupcake AngryAngryAngry why is he being such a dick!!! Hope he apologises!!

Cupcake92 · 24/07/2014 10:20

Oh no lulu! Potted herbs are a good idea, can come in handy :) at least he is attempting to clean! I've just cleaned up the house this morning and DS has been making a mess as I've been cleaning hahaa bless him.

Well DH had sent a text to my mom being very disrespectful saying to her that he "bets she thinks he's a bad dad but he couldn't care less what she would think" how dare he be like that with my mom! Only thing my mom has said was , it'll be different this time as (me) would be doing most of the work with the children as he works now. And from that he got that he was a bad dad. No idea how! But he has no right to disrespect my mom. She is a wonderful lovely woman!

OP posts:
LuluJakey1 · 24/07/2014 09:21

Cupcake- Glad you are alright but pushing you is not alright. He should grovel today and be ashamed. Hope he does. Some men are such prats sometimes.

Speaking of which, I have just gone downstairs to find DH 'cleaning' the kitchen and looking very pleased with himself. My 3 potted herbs on the windowsill have disappeared. Apparently, he thought they looked 'dodgy' and has put them in the bin! Is he Alan Titchmarsh? There was nothing wrong with them. I have been feeding them and cultivating them. I went out to the compost bin but he had taken them out of the pots, shredded them and mixed them in. Honestly!

Enjoy the excitement of being pregnant- you are much tougher than me. I was just scared for about a week once the shock wore off!

Have a great day.

Cupcake92 · 24/07/2014 08:51
