I am also loving the idea of attack sperm and guard sperm and one super sperm with a spike on his head (I'm picturing a bit like a unicorn). Thanks Lulu's DH for cheering us all up with this crazy imagery!

wine it sounds a bit late for implantation bleeding. Maybe test again in a couple of days if AF still hasn't come properly?

Wine I got bfn with my DS at 14dpo n bfp at 17dpo. Still hope :) fx!!

Aww lulu! :') thank u! He's never napped that long before, must have known I'm ill bless him. Lulu don't worry ull cope fine, they are the most amazing little people and it's crazy how much u love them :')

DH says to tell you the one sperm that fertilises the egg has a big spike on its head that it uses to pierce the membrane round the egg.So he thinks maybe it depends how long and strong the spike is.

How does he know this stuff? Grin

Sorry wine, how many dpo are you? If it's implantation bleeding you're getting it might be too early for a bfp.

Wish they'd all just zoom for the egg tho! Could have gotten pregnant sooner! :p

I'm so proud of DS today, he's been good as gold whilst I've been ill. It's been hard work as it is but he came to bed with me and we both slept for 2 and a half hours which made me feel a bit better :) so I took him in the garden when we woke up to play. So proud of him such a good boy sometimes

I can just imagine little guar sperm with little guns and attack sperm being like gangstas with bandanas on. Oh dear I'm immature..... Blush

Could it be too early wine? What test did you use? Was it a sensitive one?

These poas baffle me. Getting pregnant almost seems random- however much people DTD at the right time. It just seems totally random whether it happens or not.

Why is that? I read an article about sperm and it said they are not all the same. They have different jobs. Some are aiming for the egg, some are guards- they go ahead and block of pockets in the vagina to stop the ones aiming for the egg going off in the wrong direction, some are attack sperm looking for any sperm they don't recognise as being in their gang and biting them or something, some help the swimmers swim faster. It was very interesting - in a men's magazine at the hairdressers a couple of years ago. DH reckons it must be to do with how well they all do their job to propel the swimmers aiming for the egg to get to it.

bradders I'm the same this month, not sure of exact ov date but if it was when I think it was we dtd 2 days before and 1-2 days after and that was it. If ov was later than I think then we probably didn't get anywhere near it! So I'm not hopeful this month, but strangely feeling quite relaxed about it right now - just not meant to be this month!

I hate the 2ww! It's so frustrating ... AF due some time between Friday and next Wednesday depending on how long my stupid cycle decides to be this month. Hardly any chance of a bfp given when we dtd.

I've been to the doctors this morning turns out I have a uti AND a sinus infection!!! :( on antibiotics now and have a nasal spray :( :(

I've been 3 days late max.

Didn't get to the supermarket so no hpt, ds threw a hefty tantrum at play group so thought sod it.

On the walk home I felt another twinge and some more pink when I checked Sad

When I had my chemical pregnancy I spotted brown for 3 days before my AF, then had a BFP but 4 days afterwards I had a helluva AF which lasted 2 weeks

Spotting sucks :-( Just come or not.
