Ttc after cerazette

I'm so happy right now, my OPK is starting to go darker towards positive! I think by the weekend it will be positive.

Which is GREAT as I always used to ovulate (before the pill) about CD10-12 where as my post pill first cycle was like CD16. That's a MASSIVE difference and I don't think my body could quite cope with it. It might mean my cycles are back to normal and I have a better chance at getting a sticky BFP this time!

You can buy opk sticks for cheap online, its so cheap that it doesn't make sense not to use them. The only reason I can think of is if you don't want to added pressure of knowing that you are ovulating (if that makes sense)?

So it was a chemical :( I'm over it now though and back on for cycle two. I know I can conceive I think last cycle was just too messed up that it didn't stick. But this time I'm feeling positive, if it doesn't happen again I'll need to check what can be done.

CD7 today and waiting for ovulation.

Sheepoverthemoon, i'm also debating ovulation kits if no luck this month, been reading up on them first as never used them in the past

Good luck to everyone, it's good to see the updates. I'm going to try an ovulation kit next month if no luck this month (I didn't want to stress so I haven't before, but I think it might make it easier) Any tips from anyone? I read that staying flat after dtd to keep everything in for ten minutes can increase chances, I also heard deeper positions may help but no evidence to back it up. Any other tips from anyone?

Took my last pill last night... all systems go, I guess!

Awhhhh sairei had such hopes for u this month. Lets hope its implantation. Keep us updated. I no its very hard but keep positive. Y lindsay that was a quick BFP for u i am so jealous.

I got married, came straight off Microgynon and conceived dd1 straightaway with no period. I then went on Cerazette and was breastfeeding, came off Cerazette when dd1 was 9mo and conceived dd2 straightaway, again with no period. Dd2 is now 10mo and I have the implant, still never had a period for over 3 years now yet have conceived two babies!

Do you mean you conceived, had bubba and the continued with no periods? :-)

I conceived immediately after stopping Cerazette, no periods for over two years so there is hope! Good luck ladies!

Took a test today faint positive going to test tomorrow morning fx siarie I hope it's implantation fx for you too xxxx

Just an update for you ladies, I had a faint faint line yesterday 8/9 dpo then in the evening I started bleeding :(

Still bleeding now 6 days early for predicted AF and a stupidly short time after ovulation. I think sadly it's due to the pill and with such a short time after ovulation I just think my body couldn't quite keep whatever was there. I'll check to make sure it isn't implantation bleeding by testing in a few days (but I'm sure it isn't now).

On the plus side, going to have some wine but boo hoo! I used to always have regular 28day cycles before the pill.

I'm a newbie to mums net. Was googling coming off Cerazette to see what u could find.

Stopped taking the pill in May and had one very light bleed about two or three days after stopping since then nothing at all.

We are getting married in September and want to TTC very soon after. I was on cerazette for about 4 years and during that time my sex drive completely went downhill, to the point when I didn't even want to cuddle! I went to the doctors about it and had a checkup and they assured me everything was fine and there was no reason for me to be feeling like this ... I hadn't put it down to cerazette!

I came off it back in May as I wanted to just be me for the wedding no chemicals, hoping to loose a bit of weight and then TTC very soon after September!

So.... straight away my sex drive came back dramatically, my fiance
Longer thinks I'm a frigid b1tch! He doesn't think it's down to coming off the pill but I so do, even more so after reading this thread!

So our wedding is fast approaching and no AF yet since coming off in May... JUST MY LUCK IT WILL COME ON OUR WEDDING DAY!

I really hope it doesn't take months for my system to get back into the good cycle is really hoping to TTC very soon!

Linseyd i stopped taking cerazette on 13th June, after being on it for 5 weeks. During the 5 weeks i was on the pill i had 3 AFs so figured when i came off it it would be much the same for a while- although my first non-bc AF came 25 days after stopping

Hopefully you get a positive it's strange as whenever I stop the pill within 3 days AF arrives xxxxx

Well I stopped talking the same pill 2nd of July and haven't had a AF either but I took OPK tests to check when I was ovulating. If I had not had done that I wouldn't have realised that it took about double the time it normally does to ovulate this cycle.

I think the pill can make your body confused and thats why some ladies have a good few weeks or even months before their body ovulates and then the cycle really restarts. Luckily I know what's happening in mind but only because I've been tracking it, I wanted to make sure I didn't miss my chance at a BFP for my first cycle.

That said, you are going to have to a play a waiting game as you don't know if you've ovulated and if you have you don't know how many days past ovulation you are. Honestly there isn't anything else you can do because whatever you do now is too late. I know I'm a bit over the top and most ladies wouldn't of started it tracking straight away but I did that because I didn't want to be in your shoes :(

On the plus side, more personally for me. It's the final count down, do do do, do do do do. 7/8 DPO today and I think I may have implanted yesterday which means I could get a BFP any day from now until Weds depending what HCG I started on. Everyone starts on 1-5 hcg and the best tests can pickup 10hcg in urine.

HCG doubles every day at the start so if I started on 5 then I could pickup a positive today/tomorrow, or if I started on one it's going to take a few more days before I see.

I don't know if the implantation was successful but I did feel it, I don't know what else it could have been.

Thanks for reply Siarie no idea on when I ovulated still no AF I know whenever I stop taking cerazette within 3 days AF arrives but nothing since 23rd June the first week of July all the symptoms started tiredness, sore boobs ect so went drs he said possible pregnancy take a test in 14 days and then if negative every week it's driving me mad what's the temping is that something I could do now at all and is it best to do a test every week what should I do if still no AF heeelllpppppp. xxxx

Hi Linseyd,

You may find it easier to understand what is going on if you use OPK tests or BBT temping. Are you doing anything to monitor your cycles? Do you know whether you may have ovulated? Without knowing when you ovulated it's hard to tell you what is going on.

When is your next expected AF? If you don't know I would suggest testing every few days until you either get a BFP or AF comes.

Hi ladies first time on here need some advice I've stopped taking cerazette around the 21st June, I had a period 3 days later, then on the 3rd July I had spotting and nothing since I have lots of pregnancy symptoms sore boobs that have grown and sore nipples back ache, nausea, some cramps, headaches ect done a few tests and all BFN !!! We are having unprotected sex often since june so don't know if it's just too early to test I'm not sure anyone else in a similar situation xxxx
